Dude you messed up really bad. I could disasemble it without using a tool without causing any damage - Just twist little bit on the top area and then follow towards the bottom

Thanks. Glad I checked the comments first. Worked for me with zero damage but half way down it got kinda hard and felt like I was going to break it. Ended up changing grip back forth from right handed to left handed and the rest came apart no problem.

Thank you so much showing how to Simply press down to remove remote back cover. I have had friends trying and failing to remove cover while others wanted to use knife or screwdriver.

I suppose there are several ways of getting into this remote... but the easiest, by far is to simple start at the bottom (where the batteries are) and flex against the curve. This causes the bottom two tabs to disengage. Use a knife or spudger long the sides... it goes back together the opposite way ie.... from the IR end back. I was surprised to find with mine that the pcb has bubble switches not conductive membrane switches. 100% IPA and all is well.
My remote was 'bouncing' all over the place when almost any key was pushed ie would move 3 or 4 selections over rather than the one I selected. Up on the circular ring key also wouldn't work at all. All fixed now!

Hi, sorry to learn that. Check if any button is stuck in pressed state or there's a short. If nothing works, recommend getting a new remote.
