Hey. I have a 2017 I just got and I noticed the driver side trim piece down there is kind of “pulling away” like you mentioned yours was. How did you end up fixing? Was one of the clips on the ends broken or not fully snapped in? I haven’t taken a look yet but was just wondering what you found.
Liked the video as my wife knocked the panel off, but I don't understand how to remove the inside panel to get to those othewr screws. She drives a 2014. Could you help
Hey Pineridge, thanks for the liked vid! Take a look at this other video on the channel for doing a backup camera- at around 0:40, it shows how to take off the interior trim of the back hatch. Start with the handle and then move to the trim panels! ruclips.net/video/3JvdOGxuh2o/видео.html
I noticed that my lower tailgate panel was separating too. Were you able to realign the lower panel by taking it off and then reapplying it? Thank you.
Hey @Cha_Due, A simple reinstallation of the part won't do the trick unless there's something jammed in there creating the wedge. I took mine off, bent the lip of the lift gate up a bit with my hands (firm/consistent is good) and that closed the gap. It has started to creep back over the past 4 months, but it's an improvement. What are your experiences with your panel? Thanks for checking out the channel!
Thanks for the quick reply...nothing is wedge in it but is separating or warping away from the metal tailgate. The vehicle is still under warranty and I will take it to Ford to have them check it out or possibly replace it. My guess is that the panel is warping and will need to be replace. Though, I really like your videos...and keep them coming!!!
I'd be happy to if I can! There are a few other videos lined up, but I'd like to get to it. Thanks for the great feedback and glad the channel is helpful!
Do you know which o2 sensor in specific you're trying to replace? Which engine do you have and which location please? Take a look here - Rock Auto has a simple diagram which may help www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=4718571&cc=1503982&jsn=9
Hey @Alfred, have you had this resolved yet? I would start by looking at the actual handle module to see if it's the electrical switch in the handle? Maybe the wire connection going from the handle?
I absolutely despise how you ALWAYS reference other videos in every vid you make. What a back handed way to get additional views. Just cover the necessary steps for each project while you do every respective project and be done with it.
Hey Chris- I can see how that would be frustrating. I don't intend for it to be and it's not just to accumulate views, moreso to be efficient at creating the content. Perhaps there's a solution that can make it more efficient on the viewers end to your point. Would it be better to include the footage from the entire referenced video? What were you looking for in specific? Perhaps i can help and consolidate. I do apologize for the frustration. This channel was created to be a library of reference videos and not at all a viral video farm or click baiting studio. Clearly it is not coming through like that so I'm open to your suggestions. I can understand where you're coming from. Looking to make this as helpful as possible. Thank you sir.
Chris- we set up a poll on our Community tab of our RUclips channel to get some votes on longer vs short videos on your point. Please feel free to add your vote if you'd like. Thank you.

I went to the dealership today as I had a trunk ajar indicator, due to the faulty assembly latch. It costs $560! Do you have any DIY video for that?

The trunk alarm is on constantly even though the trunk is firmly closed. How do I fix this?

ON the 2017,the latch handle is not in the plastic piece.2 less nuts to remove.
That's great to know- so you were still experiencing this issue even on a 2017?
@@HowToEscapeDIYTipsandReviews Sorry for that post.I was wrong. It is like yours'

Does anyone know if the 2015 has the same hardware on the lift gate panel?
It should! Thanks Anne!
