Society tells us that there is one path for many people, but we are coming to understand there are many paths, for many people! In this episode, we listen to two mental health experts talk about why its okay to take a non-traditional route on your journey through life and the challenges and rewards that come with it!
About our Guest
Erica Guzman is a licensed master social worker in the state of Texas. She has worked in the non-profit sector since 2007 and obtained her master’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2022. Her working experience is in ESL literacy, survivors of domestic violence services and advocacy and youth mental health services. She is currently in supervision for her clinical social work license.
Meet Our Host
Anna Crain (finnegancounseling.org/counse...) is a Licensed Master of Social Work and Nick Finnegan Counseling Center's, Lead Outreach Counselor. Anna holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University (TCU) and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California (USC).
She has worked in a variety of settings, spending majority of her time serving as a non-profit administrator, school administrator and school social worker. She has had the opportunity to help clients work through several challenges such as anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, ASD, life-stressors and trauma both individually and through groups. 
Anna can be found in one-on-one counseling sessions at NFCC and out in the community, leading support groups and presenting to groups through outreach talks.
