i'm still rooting for her to win that oscar. emma stone was great in la la land but no one can convince me that she did better than huppert in Elle. Isabelle brought such caliber and masterful acting in that performance.
That's it exactly. Emma Stone may get the Oscar but nobody who has seen both movies can honestly say that her performance was better than Isabelle Huppert's.
great interview!! its nice to se that the questions were made by someone who saw and i guess got what the movie was about. miss huppert as Always says things that are so far from the óbvios and makes her point even on a diferente language. i hope she wins!!
Lots of people wanted Isabelle to win the Oscar. Unfortunately: Hollywood = Hollywood. Its okay. The nomination itself meant something. She won loads of awards and she obviously enjoyed the process. No (real) harm was done. The combination of Isabelle Huppert & Paul Verhoeven (to me) = (still) Astounding. And it truly did create an extraordinary bit of cinema...
@Peter Kelner It's true that foreign actors rarely win acting Oscars for non-English speaking roles. It has happened, though. We could point to Sophia Loren in 1961 and Marion Cotillard in 2008.

Keeping my fingers crossed for her Oscar triumph...

How did she lose to Emma Stone in 2017 Oscar? Oscar is a joke
I really hope she will get the oskar this year, although I'm sure she doesn't need it to know her value.
Isabelle Huppert - jesteś Mistrzynią:)
Preciosa Actriz muy profesional como Artista .
she was so robbed in the oscars
This was very uncomfortable for me to watch. The interviewer is obviously very insecure and is not the person who should have interviewed her.
This film is disgusting.
How so? You probably didn't get the movie if you think that.
