@@rebeccasalinas4406 i started by slowing the video to 0.75 speed and playing it along, then when I got it right I tried playing it at normal speed and didn’t stop until I got it right, so yes definitely constant practice!

Great work man this is pretty spot on, only thing I would add would be the top guitar needs to play a bit more aggressively and I think his fast riff part is played with all downstrokes to give the right tone 👌🤘

Jesus even the Ultimate Guitar official tab is completely wrong, which makes no sense considering you can clearly see that he mutes the A and D strings of the 7th fret in the music video.This is the first proper tab that’s actually correct that I’ve seen
One thing that always confused me is that on alberts part on the intro/pre chorus, it looks like you're continuously strumming downwards without stopping but you can clearly hear the little pauses in between the notes

Main riff is so confusing and tricky, how do I barre chord fret 7 only in 6 and 3rd string ringing. And the stroke pattern I can't catch it

0:08 main riff: how do you mute the D string when playing the 7th fret on E string and 7th fret on G string?
I do it with my index finger. It may take some practice if you're not used to it
How do you play the part B riff at 1:09? Are the other four strings muted? How do you mute them?!
with your index finger, you're gonna lay them on top of all the other strings, barely touching them, and make sure you're pressing down on the actual note you want, and then with your middle finger just put them before your index and play away.

How do I mute the strings in between the A and B strings during the chorus?
I use the underside of my index finger, kind of like a barre but with only enough pressure to mute.

Mute E string with with long finger,
Index finger on the A string,
Mute D string with your index finger,
Mute G string with your ring finger,
Pinky finger on the B string,
Mute e string with pinky finger.
Huh, a little more complicated than what I do but it's good to know the technically correct method.
videofreak I mean, the index finger and ring finger mute the D and e strings by default, then you just gotta get the E and G strings out of the way, which you can do easily by using the long and ring fingers. Hardest part is keeping the ring finger from pushing down too much.
The solo is such a pain in the arse for me, just gonna have to keep practicing

Does he use some sort of effects pedal or something to get that right sound? I suppose you can't get that sound using just the dials in the guitar? (yes, I'm new to playing the electric ;) )
It's called distortion. You can either get a distortion pedal or turn your amp up really loud. It's fun to use

Okay so I'm not exactly sure, but which one is the lead and which one is the rythm?
lead and rhythm seem to be mixed unless you arrange it for two guitars with one being dominant lead and maybe the rhythm guitarist also singing
They actually play it like that. Nick Valensi plays the rythmic part and the solo while Albert Hammond Jr. plays all the lead part without the solo. It's one of the rare songs where Albert plays the lead and Nick the rythm ;)

¿Como haces para que la parte B (de Albert) se escuche sin que se note como un muteo cuando vas cambiando entre notas? Que salga fluido entre otras palabras. ¿Alguna recomendacion? Es la parte que mas me gusta de este temon, me sale de corrido pero con ese fallo que hace que se escuche mal esa estructura. Se agradecen todos tus videos, cada uno me ha servido para mejorar como guitarrista.
