That was simply amazing to watch you do that all in one sitting. I love the way you work from the top to the bottom. It’s really kind of a style that I use, but I’ve tried not to do because I didn’t think it would really work in watercolor. I feel liberated. Thank you so much for the video.

This was a fabulous example of linking things together and also the use of a limited palette 👏👏👏 I love the idea of doing a good value study and putting the photo away. It’s hard not to copy the photo for too much detail and fun to change the color. Great video! Thank you for posting! PS.. nobody ever mentions Jeanne Dobie! She’s fabulous! I have her book and it’s full of valuable and different information. I highly recommend it.😊👩‍🎨💫

Thank you CWA, Mr Reardon is master watercolorist , and especially appreciate this method of dubbed commentary over edited works, as he says, to avoid watching paint dry and fill dead air with idle comments. Awesome composition and thank you Mr Reardon

Wow, what a talent. I have seen his paintings on pinterest and came across this video by chance. Amazing.

Wonderful demonstration and lecture. Revealing color mixtures, quinacridones and minor use of 'earth' pigments helps us to work out questions regarding a minimal palette. Bought one of your recent books of projects and theory and find it to be a solid, great reference. Thank you for your kind approach and open-minded explanations. I see the Charles Reid influence as you apply your color. There's much to be said for your video presenting skills Michael. It's very much appreciated and illustrates your many years of study and practice with watercolors!

Love his style. I’m definitely going to try this style.❤ He nailed the importance of a value study without having to reference your picture.

Thankyou. I thoroughly enjoyed your demo. The warm European hues were great to watch evolve on the paper especially with your Iimited palette. I learned so much.

Absolutely wonderful video. The connection of shapes as you work forward, the limited pallet and the interesting perspective ( a bird's eye view) was so instructive and beautiful. Thank you, Mr Reardon. Your style is beautiful--the calm buildings made of shadow. Just lovely!

Thank you for this wonderful presentation. I o loved the "recovering architect" bit. Having worked in an architectural and structural engineering firm, that made me chuckle ;)

We all have eyes and really don’t need side comments which absolutely ruin the flow and the thought process of the artist! Once the artist starts painting why don’t y’all back off and let us hear what the artist thinks: NOT YOU

The moderators on these videos are what cause me to turn them off! Whiney rambling annoying voices that just interrupt the artist
