Doing these album/era deep dives is more than just making videos to me. More often than not, making these videos makes me fall in love with these albums all over again, taking me back to a specific time and place in my life. It takes me back to a happier place. The albums I choose for my deep dives are generally albums that have had a profound effect on me in some kind of way. That being said, I originally had no plans to make a “Born This Way” video. I didn’t have much to say about it originally. I’d made my “The Fame” and “The Fame Monster” video and was going to go straight to “ARTPOP”. But in the process of writing my “ARTPOP” script, I realized I NEEDED to detail “Born This Way” before I could accurately address the significance of “ARTPOP”. I have listened to “Born This Way” all the way through probably twelve times in the last week, more than I have in the last 5 years probably. Making this video really left me with a profound attachment to this album. I can’t describe it. I’ve gone from liking this album to being obsessed with it over the past week. Screaming my heart out to Marry the Night, rolling around on the floor at 3am to Hair, dancing my ass off to Judas and ScheiBe, crying in my car to The Edge of Glory, etc. I say this to say that for every one of you who enjoys these videos, I just want you to know that making these videos is a form of therapy I never knew existed. It’s a form of escapism truly. They remind me of just what made me fall in love with so many of my favorite artists in the first place. The same artists who inspired me, got me through my darkest days, gave me hope for the future, and shaped who I am today. Suddenly I’m 13 years old all over again, listening to my favorite artists for the first time again. If I could elicit this feeling in just one of you, then I’ve accomplished my goal. Thank you so much for listening. with the utmost love and appreciation, Wayne ❤️ P.S. I didn’t mention them in the video but Heavy Metal Lover and The Queen deserve love as well.
6:39 small detail - Bloody Mary was not included in Netflix's Wednesday; it became popular because of tiktok that mixed sped up version of the song with the dance scene from the show
I agree with most of your thoughts on Born This Way, most the album still sounds as timeless as when it was first released. BTW is definitely my favorite, as it was also during this era that I became a fan of her music but also because it really shows Gaga's best in the production. Personally, I don't think Gaga truly reached that point in making a true magnum opus, but BTW would be the album that comes closest to that.
You taught me a couple things in this video, and I’m not mad lol. I love “Born This Way”. It’s definitely a staple in my life. It really helped me thru 2021 Ngl. “Judas”, “Schiße”, and “you and I” are my top 3
It made me tear up at the end of the video. The creator of this video spoke my mind. I never really appreciated the album when it came out I was young but now I can say this is her best work one of the greatest albums ever created ❤
After watching a few videos I have to sub. The quality of your videos surprised me in a great way. I’m passionate about my favorite music and videos like these are what I need. Definitely gonna watch that new Artpop video, my favorite pop album
Thank you for re-introducing me to this album. I was a green 20 year old when this came out. I'm now in my 30s, a little rough around the edges and this album hits me a little differently now. Great video, keep up the good work ☺ ❤
Amazing video! I’ll definitely be giving born this way a full listen. Could you talk about Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia? Dua single handedly carried pop music during the pandemic for me
9:30 bro Judas is literaly Bad Romance 2.0 -both starts with ooooh oooh ooh -after ooohs there is Rah rah ra ah ah roma romama gaga ulala OR Judas Juda ah ah Judas Juda ah ah Judas Gaga -both songs are kinda agressive literaly it’s Bad Romance 2.0 i will stand by that forever (love ur vids(
BR doesn't have a breakdown like judas, Judas verses are way shorter, also BR has a very short pre-chorus while judas has rather a hook or bridge before the chorus that is more similar to the one in poker face.

This is a great video!!!
I loved the video about the legendary Lady Gaga. Can you please make a video on George Michael and his impact in the music industry & legacy
Amazing video! I’ll definitely be giving born this way a full listen.

U a bit obsessed sis, get a life
I've often said the same. Sometimes I'd sing the Judas lyrics to Bad Romance and vice versa
You stan Gaga, Ariana, Nicki, Beyoncé , & Rihanna…TASTE!
And Michael Jackson and Jenet
It's been 12 years and I still can't decide if BTW or TFM is Gaga's Magnum Opus
Same, the fame as well and artpop
Meh, ARTPOP is a good album but not her magnum Opus. Chromatica is above it in terms of my personal ranking.@@georgechanturiawithmontigu8796
@@georgechanturiawithmontigu8796Artpop is Artflop. That album was not good, sorry. But Born This Way was definitely her Magnum Opus.
@@miloseviczarko45 Applause, DWUW, Venus, G.U.Y, Mary Jane Holland, Dope, MANiCURE, Donatella, Sexxx Dreams, etc. arent good songs?
@@rao803 Only Applause, Venus and Dope are good. Rest are just... trash. And i'm not even a Gaga hater, i'm just being honest.
This isn't The Fame Monster...
Right…dumbass…this is Born This Way
Ehhh The Fame monster is her magnum opus
