Hello Christina. Measuring an UC is the same on HEX and Dozers. You are measuring the same components such as a link, bushing, rollers, idlers, etc... The real difference between HEX and Dozers is the way it wears. Dozers do more distance typically causing more of the wear on the external side of the components. A HEX machine UC typically sees more internal wear or structural fatigue because of the nature of how they work the machine. But same principle of measuring. Hope that helps. - Ron
