In this Disney Cruise vlog we begin day 2 of our Disney Dream Cruise with arrive in Nassau Bahamas
We watching the ship dock in port in the morning then had breakfast at Cabanas, Disney Cruise Line's main buffet. We decided to get off the ship to explore Nassau on our own but just took a quick walk and ended up coming right back onboard the Disney Dream to spend the day exploring the ship. We enjoyed pool time and in the next vlog we ride the AquaDuck!

I have visited all of the Disney Parks in the United States: Disneyland, California Adventure, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom! It is my dream to one day visited all the international Disney Parks as well! My travel interests also go beyond the Disney Parks, I love vlogging my cruise vacations and trips to all-inclusive resorts!
I am from Pennsylvania and grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia. My dream is to soon relocate to the Orlando area and live near Disney!

Tip: for paid events like alcohol tastings and brunch you really need to sign up at your checkin date (depending on your status, platinum, gold, silver, new). This is advantage of sailing multiple times on DCL and booking ahead of time. These sell out super fast.
You can sometimes get these if you check as soon as you get onboard.
You can learn a lot about your cruise if you join a fb page for your sailing.

There isn’t much to do in Nassau (except for Straw Market) unless you have an excursion booked. Good choice getting back on the ship!
There is SO much to do on the boat and it always feels like there’s never enough time to do it all! Love watching how much fun y’all had!
I stayed in Atlantis back in May of 2019, and all I can say is it is a must do if you go the Bahamas again. Awesome water park, casino and so many great restaurants too and you probably saw how beautiful the beach is.

I remember that mansion from our trip in 2012! It was gorgeous, stunning landscaping and a beautiful boat out front. Unfortunately probably sustained catastrophic water damage during last series of hurricanes that tore through the Bahamas... Most likely not worth it to repair :(

Have you ever stayed at Atlantis Paradise Island Meg? I have and I can tell you it's the best resort I've ever stayed at.

While I was on the Disney dream the next day it was at sea 🌊 and grand cayman and castaway cay is there different stops?
Can someone tell me what was wrong with Nassau? I never been and do not know much about cruises. Is it a dangerous area? I don't think she wanted to explain it much in the video, but I would like to know someones honest opinion.
It's definitely not dangerous, there just isn't much worth walking to. You'll find some average restaurants and very touristy stores, unless you take a taxi to a resort with day passes. On a shorter cruise you get more value from staying on the ship than going into the port area.
