That's good tips, but I would add that, a photocard always need his toploader ALWAYS (or at least hard cardboard to protect the card/s) and for everywhere in the world :)
I agree! It's just that toploaders aren't as easy to find here in the Philippines tbh.
Im glad I found this! Been looking for experienced philpost senders
This is so informative. Thank you! I hope u also make a vid about methods of payment(esp paypal OR besides paypal kasi wala ako nun & mahal ata transaction charge nila).
Quick question: When selling pcs to intl buyers, do u already give them a fixed rate or may second payment pa sila to pay?
For me, I usually use these:
1. Discarded photocard plastic pack from my previous purchases,
2. Additional transparent plastic pack for additional protection,
3. Small 3R or 4R envelope,
4. Old clean cardboard or carton,
5. Packaging tape,
6. Gift wrapper
What I learned from my previous workplace in 2012 on how to pack properly a flat item, this is also what I'm doing for sending merches right now.
Will the cards still be safe if i ship them using a regular card holder? ㅠㅠ
Like those card holders used for credit cards/IDs/business cards? It depends on the material. If you don't have a toploader, it might be best to put the card in a sleeve/plastic then sandwich it between thick pieces of cardboard/foamboard.
TintedRhythm I plan to place the card in the holder, really thick btw, then sandwich it with illustratin board. Will that be good enough?
Hi! Do they require anything from the shipper? Like, I know there's things such as postal I.D., do we specifically need that or can we present other I.D.s? And for the sender/receiver information, do we only need name and address or do we need contact number as well?
Is it okay to decorate the bubble mailer? Like putting business logo stickers, or thank you stickers?
Yup it's fine as long as the shipping details are still seen well.
Im selling pcs but the only buyers I have r international buyers and I dont know how to ship overseas... I hope this is helpful
I hope this helped, I want to film a new one but haven't had the chance to send something internationally in a long time.
@@TintedRhythm i finished the vid! Thank you it was so helpful... I sold niki successfully
Hi where did you buy those plastic sleeves? Thank you!
I just get them whenever I buy cards from international sellers tbh. But you can buy some of the branded ones on Neutral Grounds, Courtside, or any other store that sells trading cards like Magic The Gathering and Pokemon.
Hello where did you buy the foam board?
what's the exact size of the bubble mailer?
Hi! I don't have a weighing scale with me so I wanted to know how much that package (1-2 toploaders, sandwiched in foam wrap, bubblemailer) weighed? Yung ₱198 ba na nakasulat sa envelope at 08:31 yung total na binayaran mo? ^^
I’m not good with estimating so I can’t answer that😭 but yup yung 198 yung binayaran ko.
Hi, yung andun sa site ng phlpost na lumalabas ng office locators, lahat po ba yun pwedeng place for me to send my parcels? Thanks
Hi is it okay if i use regular bubble wrap when i ship pcs intertaionally?
Pag within ph po ba pwede LBC? if pwede ibibigay mo lang po ba yung product sa LBC at magbabayad nalang po o may ififill up pa?? Thank you in advance!
Yup! Pwede LBC but make sure to pack it properly para di madamage. They still check kasi what's inside the package. Yung shipping details lang yung ififill up mo :)
@@TintedRhythm Do you know how much the shipping fee costs for sending photocards through lbc?
When you sell, do you charge extra for the sleeves and toploader? Kasi diba binibili pa yan. Thanks!
I don't charge for it since I get them for free during trades/whenever I buy cards from ebay. You can charge if you want or just incorporate it in the price of the card already.
@@TintedRhythm thanks!!
Hi im sending one abroad and is it okay if i already bubble wrapped the item before going to philpost?
Yup! I bring mine sealed in the envelope and they don't have any questions about it, sometimes they'll ask what's inside but they don't have to see what's inside.
hi, can I just use a top loader? Or should I put the cardboard too?
Better to have a piece of cardboard with it so you don't risk the safety of the card.
Hi! Ask ko lang kung nakapagtry ka na mag ship to quebec, canada? Kasi yung nakalagay for registered mails for canada is sa vancouver. Paano po yun iship
Haven't tried sending there pa eh sorry
i saw in your comment that this is in caloocan. the one in samson road po ba ito? do they accept it even tho bulky?
Nope this is on another location. Yup! I've seen them accept packages that are in huge boxes.
hi po, do you have a link or know a place on where i can buy toploaders? and can you also please make a complete/detailed video on how to pay for the k-products that are bought from online k-stores thru remittance/payment centers like lbc and also on how to ship k-products (merch, photocards/traded photocards, albums, etc)? btw only within here in ph but i think it's pretty obv bc of lbc lol, it would be really helpful and would be very much appreciated :))
Toploaders are available in most card shops depending on your area. Neutral Grounds and Courtside have branches all over Metro Manila so I guess you can check out their website/facebook.
For the online k-stores, I've only really bought from Yesasia for my KPOP CDs and I use my credit card for that. Haven't tried any that accepts cash remittances though. I think only local KPOP sellers offer that option.
Thank you for this video! When you say post office, is it philpost ba? Or no?
Yup PhilPost!
@@TintedRhythm i went to philpost awhileago (sa sm north) and i asked if i can put the postcard in a plastic sleeve container (toploader) and she said no, it should only be paper 😢
@@crossref233 I think she thought na plastic sleeve yung envelope mo. I've been using PhilPost for like 6 years already and no problems naman sa toploaders inside an envelope.
@@TintedRhythm Huhuhu thank you so much!
helloo ask ko lang if advisable pa rin ba na magsend through PHILPOST up to this day? Kasi sobrang dami, lahat na nga yata nagrereklamo na sakanila. Sobrang lala na daw talaga ng bad service. :(
Hi! I haven’t sent anything through PHLPost in years so I can’t comment on that. Sorry 😔
Awee. Hindi sila nag shiship papunta malaysia 😢 saan pa po ba may ibang pag sendan ng small package or parcel international ?
You can try private couriers like FedEX or UPS.
San makakabili ng soft sleeves?
Trading card game shops like Neutral Grounds and Courtside :)
@@TintedRhythm is that an online shop or something? cuz I live in Davao.
Sorry sa late reply, Neutral Grounds pwede ka magPM sa facebook page nila for outside of metro manila na orders :)
@@TintedRhythm Thanks
hello! have u tried shipping these past few months? if so, how long did it take for them to arrive?
I haven't sorry.
hi may i ask po how much po yung shipping fee ?
Woahh 198 lang?? Bakit yung nagtanong ako around 500 php 😭 document lang din naman :/
joannam ae depende sa destination and sa weight. Here’s a link sa shipping rates nila twitter.com/airmnlove/status/1145322616099487744?s=21
mine was 1500 daw to canada
hello po! have you tried shipping an album internationally using registered mail? is that possible?
also, i heard po na nagchacharge din sila minsan sa receiver, does that happen even sa local shipping? and one last question, door-to-door po ba yung shipping nila?
sorry po sa mga questin, bago lang po kasi ako sa sales and trades and i'm not that familiar with mailing yet
I've tried! The receiver only gets charged if the item is taxable I think. I'm not sure.
The shipping is door to door but it depends on the post office handling it.
hello po! diba po may different mods yung philpost? like EMS or registered mail? ano po yung gagamitin?
Depends kung ano yung napagusapan niyo. EMS is more expensive than registered mail so mas mabilis siya darating.
hello are bubble mailers still available in national book store?
Yup! Stocks vary per branch though, they're also available in Office Warehouse.
Is it possible to ship 9×11 size envelope internationally throughregisteredmailng mura? Magaang lang siguro mga 200 grams
I'm not sure but I think it'll depend on where you're sending it. They follow the registered mail rates (per gram) even if the package is a bit big.
hi can i ask how u handle the sf? do u pay it first then ask the customers to pay after?
Full payment for the item and shipping first before sending it out :)
@@TintedRhythm what website do u use to post ur products????
Saan po nakakabili ng plastic sleeve?
I buy mine from Neutral Grounds or Courtside.
Hi if im going to ship ba in a bigger bubble mailer (since big post cards papadala ko) consider pa rin yon as a document?
They don't really care about the size of the package tbh (unless it's really big). They just base the fee on the weight of the package.
@@TintedRhythm thank you!
Hi po. How long does it usually take to arrive at the destination? :)
2 to 6 weeks usually.
hi! have you tried sending one sa pennsylvania and california? how much did it cost you? huhu
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, I've sent a package to California, it's all relative to the weight of your package. Please check the pinned comment for the PHLPost shipping rates.
ano po yung complete information na ilalagay? name, address and ano pa po?
Name and Address lang. Make sure na complete yung address (with ZIP/Postal Code and Country).
Hi! May I ask if you have to tell them what type of service you want to avail or would they automatically charge the rate based on the size of the parcel and do they ask you what's inside? I'm going to ship to the u.s and i'm afraid they would charge it as general cargo and would cost a lot. Thank you!
hi! what happened when you tried to send it? did they charged it as general cargo?
@@aiaae8870 omg hi I'm sorry I saw this just now. Actually, I'm not sure what they charged it as haha but it says registered mail in the receipt. When I sent mine, they just asked what it is then went ahead and weighed it. I paid P360 for the fee and it arrived in the U.S. after a month. I hope this helps if you still need it
@@leejen...4900 can i also ask how many cards did you sent and the grams they weighed? i'm planning to send one next week and im still scared that it will cost too much
@@aiaae8870 i only sent one card with some foams to protect it inside an 11cm x 15cm bubble mailer. I wasn't able to ask how much it weighed but it's probably less than 100g, they also made me buy an envelope bc it was small to prevent it from getting lost. You can check the rates for registered mail on google btw :)
hi po! thank you po sa information very helpful po! may i ask po kung ano size ng bubble mailer niyo? thank u poo
Di ko na maalala yung exact measurement nung nasa video but I think 5x9 works? Measure the top loader with the cardboard reinforcement na lang then add an inch for adjustment para sure kung anong size ng bubble mailer yung gagamitin.
@@TintedRhythm ohhh thank you po!
where can i buy the card sleeves?
Neutral Grounds, Daiso, and other trading card game store.
hello pano po kapag 8 photocards and naka ganyang package den gano kaya sya kabigat and how much din ph to canada
sabi kasi saken document 1500 daw ph to canada
@@troycalitis1169 Baka EMS yung natanong mo sa PhilPost? Registered mail lang yung ginagamit ko. 8 Photocards you can do 2 cards per toploader or kung marami ka one each. Can't tell kung gaano kabigat yung package mo, maybe you can have the package weighed first before sending it para may estimate ka ng cost of shipping?
I've sent a half kilo package sa Canada for less than 1,500 eh 8 photocards lang yan so mas magaan.
Hi there. I'm from the Phillipines too im just wondering po what if kayo yung nag purchase from other countries ng pc, how long did it took bago makarating po sa inyo? Rekta po ba sa bahay niyo idedeliver or kukunin niyo po sa post office?
So sorry po ang haba ng tanong i just need to know kasi po its my 1st time buying pcs from other countries and wala po ako idea how they will get to me.. Mag 1 month na po kasi and medyo kinakabahan po ako.. I will appreciate your help po 🥺🥺🥺
Hi! It usually takes a month or two bago dumating. Di ko lang sure ngayon since nakaquarantine. Most of the time pag international, hindi siya door to door. You have to claim it sa post office near you.
@@TintedRhythm oh ganun po ba.. Bale for small parcel or letter size sa post office padin po need kunin? Pag ganun po how to know if nasa post office na? Will they give you the paper notice also
@@dalandan1024 Yup I received cards na sa regular envelope lang nakalagay but still had to claim it sa post office. Usually naka indicate siya sa tracking and nagpapadala sila ng notice sa bahay mo.
Hi.. May I ask if which is more cheaper? LBC or Post office? Key chain po kase ipapadala ko sa US. And I'm kinda worried cuz based on the reviews that I've read, puro negative nababasa ko 'cause of quarantine.. Halos lahat po ata ng padalahan they have issues that it takes too long to send the parcel to the receiver specially international.. TIA po sa sagot. God Bless.
Di pa rin ata nagaaccept ng US packages yung PHLPost but it's way cheaper. LBC is really expensive.
Okay po.. Salamat po sa sagot 😊
Hi, question sana hehe
Pwedeng gumawa nalang kaya aq ng bubble mailer? Like i-tape q yung sides nung bubble wrap kase walang available na bubble mailer sa nbs namin WAHSHAHHSA sige thank you po!
Kyla Jane Williams Not sure lang hahaha pwede mo itry pero advise ko pa din na find a bubblemailer. Sa Office Warehouse meron if merong malapit sa inyo.
Hi po! Where can I buy the yellow Envelope thingy?
Bangtan Taehyungie They have it in National Bookstore, Office Warehouse... etc. Just ask if they have a bubble mailer/padded envelope.
TintedRhythm Thank you!
Question po. Sa info po, home address ko ilalagay? Like sa bahay ko po ba dadating yung pinatrade ko or sa post office kung saan ako nagship?
Always put your home address.
If you're the one sending (via registered) they'll return the package to you if unsuccessful yung delivery.
If you're the one receiving they'll know where to send it to (since they do door to door sometimes) or they'll know which post office to send it to.
TintedRhythm Thank you very much! 😊
Hi.. have u tried shipping using our local post office?
Ilan po ang weight ng package mo?
Yup! I ship items internationally through our local post office frequently.
Di ko na maalala yung weight nito eh. Probably less than 100 grams. Here's a link for their current rates twitter.com/AirMnlove/status/1145322616099487744
@@TintedRhythm thank you so much!
Hi po, I have a question po if for example ako nmn po yung mag re-recieve ng package is there any like fee sa Phil post? Bc like I've heard po na mag babayad ka pa po ng 120 pesos is that true po ba?
One more thing, for example po nakipag trade po ako from us Saan ko po makukuha/marerecieve yung trade ko? Do I still receive it sa Phil post? I'm still pretty confused.
and are photocards po ba counted as letter post or parcel post?
pahabol question, ano rin po pala yung mode of transport na chinecheck niyo?? magsship internationally rin po kasi ako ng photocards eh tapos first time ko 😅
Hi. Have you shipped your photocards?
Same questions as yours. Anong chineck mong mode of transport?
magkano po pa ship?? san pong post office na yan?

This is in Caloocan
hii, do u need to have a guardian if ure 18 below and mag papadala sa other countries po?
I'm not sure but I've sent and received through post office as a minor before and no issues. Might depend on the post office.
@@TintedRhythm have u sent po aroumd middle east? if ye spo hm po?
@@cesv5980 Nakapagship na ko sa middle east pero around 280 grams yung package so 800 inabot. Pag photocard lang naman na light tapos less than 100 grams mura lang yun. Search mo na lang yung rates ng PhilPost meron sila sa website nila.
thank u so much pooo!!!
do you use stamps?
The lady in the post office puts the stamp for me. Sometimes it's the traditional ones, sometimes it's a printed one from their machine.
Is there a time na nawala yung mga pinadala nyong cards nkakatakot kase sa philpost gusto q magtrade
SLR usually pag galing sakin di naman nawawala since may tracking pero pag walang tracking malaki yung chance na mawala siya or mascam ka nung katrade mo since you don't have proof na nareceive na siya.
How much did you pay po for that package to Usa?
I honestly don’t remember but usually less than 200 for regular mail and less than 300 for registered.
Woooow ive beeen duped. I asked them in person few months ago and they said around 1200 for a document type. That is document type package
@@jeremnis Did they weigh your package? Maybe they thought it would be in the big envelope? You can always ask them to weigh your package to check how much is it or get their rates since different countries/zones have different rates.
