- Jamie made her trip back to pick up the remaining two Kunekune sows that she had purchased but of course on her arrival there were more than 2 Kunekunes in the trailer!
We get asked the question a lot, "how many kunekune pigs do you have?" Well we are not really sure what to say when we answer that question so today we head around the farm and get a good count on how many KuneKunes we actually have.

I can see the attraction--when you go in their pens and they all run toward you, I wouldn't be able to say no either.
Hi john, i like all of your pigs and chickens and cows and calefs and bulls and Jami. It looks like you got a mod bath, too
New subscriber. Loving the pigs. May our God continue to bless you and family. Ps 73; 25,36.
You take such good care of the pigs ❤
Nooice! 😎 STOC about 8 months ago we made a change...we became first time stewards of 1...2..3 and then 4 Kunekune piglets. It has been a steep learning curve and i have been working my way through watching all your videos to see what i have to look forward to... We plan on making chicken change next..egg layers first and meat birds to follow... May everyone and every critter stay healthy and happy... 😎
I watching your videos glad I found you

Hi John. I agree with you, the new pigs don't need to be separated. I can just look at them and see they have well cared for. Wow they are big. Have a great day.
We made our change in 2010 and it’s been hard but the most rewarding thing ever. We have 4 kunekune and looking to bread two of them this spring 😊

Thank you for sharing your life with us. Pray for me, please. I'm waiting on a disability decision
Great videos, Brooklyn's attention to detail, definitely is helpful. John she could tell you the names of the new ones. It's great to make notes.
God always knows what we need and has to push us in the direction sometimes. Almost 7 years ago I was in a dirt bike accident that paralyzed me and then I had a stroke from the accident. I worked very hard all my life growing up on a farm and working through high school and multiple jobs and internships in college. After grad school I moved to a new state and started working in accounting which was a lot of stress
I was very stressed as we were short staffed and I had just gotten a new manager many mornings from anxiety and stress I would throw up in the shower before heading in to work almost 12 hour days.
I like to tell myself that God made me incredibly tough and hardworking because he was going to paralyze me and slow my brain down with the stroke to just show me to slow down with life and don’t work myself to death on the corporate ladder I am at home and still not working yet, so I love watching the pigs and piglets
Jamie could have worse things to have issues with. I am thinking Kune Kune Pigs is a good thing. LOL.
😂 agreed
We are just ready to get these pigs, we are in Crossville Tn. What part of Tn are you ? We are just about done with fencing. Great video!!!
God will continue his work in my family....Help me find a new profession...had to leave medicine because they force us to get the jab..
Hi John, gosh I forgot how itty bitty Brooklyn was when you started your channel. Had a question, why does the tongue hang out on those two kune sows. Blessings to you and your family for starting Make the Change!!
Yeah we forget sometimes too. Not really sure why the tongues hang out
Cute little piggy Pile 😊
Have you ever considered getting alpacas? 😊
I would like to ask to keep my Nannie in your prayers she went and had biopsy to check for lung cancer today. She’s a breast cancer survivor and she’s a fighter. Hopefully with prayers and lord willing it’s not cancer! Thanks
Will definitely be praying for her. Thanks for sharing
Great news my Nannie’s test results came back negative for lung cancer! She has to have a pet scan to check for cancer anywhere else but there thinking it was an infection from copd . Thanks for the prayers and continue to keep her in your prayers . Thanks and god bless.
We will thanks so much for the update
They have waddles
Wait I thought KC was for Kansas City lol.
KC was a nickname we had for my dad
How many fencing from premiere fencing do you use for the groups? It’s such a large area! Do you rotate them often?
These pigs have 3 100ft fences we try to move every 1-2 weeks
@@KCFarms okay, cool, good to know! We are just starting out with kunekunes, so trying to learn how much space to give them and how often to move them. Do you make a new wallow every time, or do you keep the wallow in the corner of the fence area as you move around it? We have a large 2 acre field area we want to take the pigs around to maintain, but don’t really want to dig up wallows all over jt 😆
@KatieMarie we have used kiddie sandboxes in the past when we didn’t want to do wallows. I don’t think there is a set time to move you just check the area they are in and if it has a lot of manure it is time to move
What State are you in
Tennessee
I love your videos and if you want to say a prayer for my son in law he has been fighting cancer for 4 years and he is back in chemotherapy because the cancer spread to his lungs
Definitely will thanks for sharing
