Very cool that you guys did this. Electronics recycling is not as clean as it's cracked up to be. So re-purposing is a much more responsive way to go! I do up cycling myself. Of course no one said they are hosting a bit torrent site, lol. Personally I would use one as a NAS for video editing of my original content.
I really wish i was there. I lost my server back then and I didn't have the money to buy or build a new one so for 6 months without a server. And sense I do not drive it makes it even harder to get parts or a server.
OMG guys so lucky.. lol If i lived there i would of driven there but i live in Australia soo yeah. Stuck with a small qnap 4 bay Nas. Wish i had one of those would of even payed for shipping or buy it.
