First time I've heard this band and I like what I hear. Melodic keys, growling guitar harmonics, driving drum, and base with outstanding vocals.
I'm glad you dig it, as these guys have been around for a whiiiile.

Amazing playing, well organized and arranged orchestrations, great use of time signatures, well thought out and conveying lyrics, with some well sung and executed vocal lines. Two songs in, and this album is already shaping up to be a masterpiece. Great job, guys!

A fine tune from this Prog Metal band, with great Melody and vocals. With the sophistication you'd expect, it's still digestible and flows nicely from start to finish. Well worth a listen. My Score: Very Good 4*

Amazing as usual Threshold never disapoint. But you guys need to start selling albums in DSD/SACD version. Almost everyone have a decent way to listen to their music in 2022 and we now can see the difference between a cheap mp3 and DSD. I would gladly pay more to have my albums in higher resolution. Waves are nice but you can go higher than that especially with guys like Threshold when their fans knows these guys knows how to master a record.
It hurts me a lot to say it. But it's how I feel. Without Mcdermott it's not the same
I will agree. But, the music they come up with compliments the singer. Whether it be Mac, Damian or Glynn, it just fits perfectly. I've been listening this song multiple times a day, and hope the rest of the album is just as good.
Mac was definitely unique, but keep in mind that he was not even in the band when he passed away. Morgan's performance on this album and the Legend of the Shires album is phenomenal. Not to mention he was a fantastic frontman when I saw them live at ProgPower USA a few years ago.

if you don't know about threshold you should be ashamed of yourself.
look i listen to all those great metal bands from dream theater to animals as leaders to periphery and polyphia and many older stuff but sometimes you found some underrated gem which you makes you appreciate more the existence of music. i found threshold 8 years ago and became one of my favorite prog metal bands.
Soy fan de Threshold, es una excelente banda de Metal Progresivo, Glynn desde luego que no es un mal cantante, pero la esencia de una banda siempre sera la voz de los inicios de la banda, en este caso Damian Wilson sin duda siempre ha sido la voz ideal para Threshold, es una verdadera lastima que no haya permanecido en la banda definitivamente, sin duda habrian seguido haciendo trabajos excepcionales.
