    Thanks for sharing Petko!!
    How offen should the bots be changed in the prop firm Accounts (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly)?
    Reason for my question is, that I am currently stuck in 3 challenges changing the bots weekly and the profit is +-1% after 1 month

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  Месяц назад +1

      @chill0r1990, it really depends. Some of our accounts we check and change weekly, others daily. With weekly and monthly EAs, I check daily. The 1Y and 5Y, I check weekly

    There are constantly new EAs coming every day to week. How are you supposed to consistently achieve percentages, especially at prop firm, if the EAS are constantly being changed so that the backtest result appears profitable? The top 3 eas were mostly or almost always added in the last 7 days. Even if you update the EA to a different one every day, the backtest results from the last week, let alone the last few months/years, remain almost identical.

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  Месяц назад

      That's one of the reasons we often have cross checks for confirmation. It's not that the backtest results appear profitable, it's real backtest results. And the higher timeframes - 5Y, 1Y and even 1M don't change very often at all

    By doing randomization we no longer have the same strategy and the same results!..?

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  Месяц назад

      Correct, that's kind of the point :-). However, you can import the EA back into EA Studio and check it's performance with the changes on the backtest

    Good App. Can you confirm that you get to view the source code (MQ5) and the Indicator settings? I want to pick EAs that use different indicators. For example, what if the top 5 EAs all uses the same indicators with slight variant of the settings?

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  Месяц назад +1

      The source code of every EA is open. You have full access to the code

    Will this prop firm bot work for funded prop firm acct after you passed it?

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  Месяц назад

      Yes, you can use them in funded and live accounts. In the customisation, you select your profit target as 0, which means the EA won't stop trading once a certain target is reached. But you can still utilize all of the protections

    Great job 🔥 the only bug for me is that the crypto EAs (BTC and ETH) from the app, don’t work. I don’t know what 🤷‍♂️ Furthermore the randomization is a very cool feature but we must use it carefully according to the type of strategy : sometimes a little change of 1 or 2% in the indicators parameters have a big impact of the strategy and sometimes with other type of indicators and entry rules there is no problem. But anyway, this is a game changer for sure 👍

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  Месяц назад

      Thank you. Not sure why you're having issues with crypto, we're using them and trading with them. I agree with the caution changing parameters - but, you can import any EA back into EA Studio, and check the backtest results after downloading it from the app. No license is needed - only to download EAs from EA Studio

    Hello Petko and Ilan,
    I`m almost finished with your Forex for beginners course. I`ve rewatched some of the videos a few times and have taken notes. I also ordered your other courses too. My question for you is that you`ve integrated the Meta trader 4 into your EA Studio platform. After I complete all 3 courses, will EA Studio platform be available to use? Thank you for creating a course that`s packed with valuable information in such a concise manner.

      @eatradingacademy  27 дней назад

      Hi there. MT4 is not integrated into EA Studio. Historical data from several brokers is, and you can export and EA for use with MT4 and MT5, but there is no integration, as such. In terms of your question, EA Studio is completely separate to the courses as a product. You can register for a free 15 day trial, however, to continue using it, you will need a license. But, only if you want to download EAs you have created or changed. If you simply want to use to backtest and examine strategies, you do not need a license and can use it as much as you like

    Do I need a VPS for the prop firm EAs?

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  Месяц назад

      Not necessarily. If you can keep your PC / laptop on and connected to the internet with platform running 24/7, you don't need a VPS

  • @emc2bomb

    I didn't understand the out of sample part. Is it simulating future market? If yes then where is the data came from?

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  27 дней назад

      The OOS, is data that wasn't used for the generation but is used to test the strategy on. For example, you have a total of 12 months of historical data available. You use 10 months of this data to generate the strategy (in sample). Now, you want to get an idea of how it would perform on "fresh" data, and you use the remaining 2 month of data that wasn't use to generate the strategy, so it's a forward test of sorts. This is Out of Sample.

      As long as you are using MetaTrader, you can open up to 99 charts for different assets and timeframes. On each chart, you can place 1 EA

    Thanks for sharing Petko!! my question is that this expert advisor can do the hedging ? beacuse i am using funded firm and they dont allowed hedging. ?

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  27 дней назад

      The EAs themselves don't hedge. However, if you have 2 charts open for the same asset, and one EA opens a long trade, while the other opens a short trade, the prop firm will consider this hedging. So, it's best to have just one chart open per asset, or when attaching your EAs, select them to trade in only one direction

      There are many combinations and settings that play a role. We don't guarantee a pass, but our pass rate is far higher than the industry in general. How you trade, the assets, prop firm, risk settings and how actively you monitor your EAs all plat a role

    I have one question:
    If everyone will use this, then everyone will win and prop firms will lose.
    How will this impact the market?

    • @josefernandovillamayoribarra
      @josefernandovillamayoribarra 2 месяца назад +3

      Either they will close due to not being able to pay everyone or they will find another way to ban your account. It is a no brainer.

      @@shivamasija some might take profits for a short period of time before prop firms take action. Anyhow, I personally think it is a gamble. It is too risky for me.

    • @eatradingacademy
      @eatradingacademy  Месяц назад

      @shivamasija, there are at least tens of thousands of people taking prop firm challenges. Of course, there's no guarantee, as we've seen, that prop firms will stay open and in business, but in terms of using the EAs with the randomization feature, it's almost impossible for the firm to detect you're using a 3rd party EA, and the number of people using the app, compared to not, is a fraction
