I am very glad, it turned out to be a great motorcycle for every day. Do not forget to make a seat back or a "Sissibar" so that your back is not loaded with a backpack. It turned out a great exhaust. I remember a great story about the exhaust: It was the beginning of the two thousandth. My friend had a Jawa 350 12v motorcycle and he experimented with the exhaust and I remember how he decided to give maximum engine speed and the "flute" flew out of the muffler and hit one of his friends right in the groin, it was a funny story. For us, Jawa is a cult motorcycle, over which the guys puffed as best they could, everyone made a front fairing from a Velorex side trailer and bent the rear pipes of the frame to lean back as if you were sitting on an upholstered chair. Looks good, black and chrome ls always a winner and the early Evo Dynas still have a feel of the old good looking Harleys, nice trick with the guide for the bandsaw, motivating with other people tinkering away cheers.

Yo Red, 1997 I bought a brand new Honda Valkyrie standard. My Squeeze (wearing shorts) jumped on the back seat for a short ride up to the local garage to drive my truck home. I called her out on the shorts. She said I'll be fine. It's only 5 mi, pulled up, She got off. Took off her bucket step back over to put it on the sissy bar & burnt her leg on my brand new Chrome exhaust. The look of agony on both of our faces. She with her burnt leg and me with a permanent skin tattoo on my brand new Chrome exhaust. SMH. My Chrome exhaust never recovered. 2023 she can still see the scar from the burn. By the way, your Motorsickle is Awesome.😂❤ You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda Valkyrie. Keep the Shiny Side Up.

I love turned out pipes! The sound just bounces off everything you pass on the right side,especially when you are going by buildings or passing cars! I don’t think the sound is quite right yet! I think I would take part of the baffle off! That’s just me , I Iike mine a little louder with that Harley lope sound! I have been riding Harleys quite a while and I have heard a lot of bikes and when I hear the sound I’m looking for I know it! You look great! Ride safe and have loads of fun on your Dyna!😎👍✌️
Yep, gotta love the sound of an HD for sure! I put in decent baffles to avoid unwanted attention from the cops... and that really low idle that some people like to give their Harleys sounds cool, but its actually pretty hard on the engine.
@@RedRiderCanadaBC Yes,you don’t want to idle to low! I adjust mine between 900 and 1000 RPMs if I remember correctly depending on how it sounds! A lot of people set the idle to low and it just doesn’t sound good,it’s a recipe for motor trouble!I bought a digital tachometer to set the idle with! Have you ever checked your engine temperature with a digital thermometer! Last time I checked mine it was 220 degrees F ! It used to run hotter than that until I started using Mobil 20/50 full synthetic Vtwin motor oil! This oil actually made it run cooler ! I was surprised that it made it cooler! Have a great Tuesday and ride safe! Happy Trails! 😎✌️
I've wanted a dyna since I first rode one last year. I rode several, actually. That's definitely more what I want versus my Heritage (2003, not these crappy new ones).
Good for you. Bike looks great! It’s good to watch you and your dad fab stuff up and make it work. There are to many people buying stuff and bolting it on and recording it and figuring they really did something
I know your going to love your Evo...and for what it's worth I would leave the CV carb on it, it is a good carb for the way you ride...if you want performance, like racing, then buy an S&S but for street riding keep the CV carb on it, maybe put next size up pilot jet and main jet in it but other than that there trouble free and much easier to tune than S&S...just my 2c !! ❤😘✌✌
Looks good Angel but you might have an issue with your turn outs. Their jumping around some. You might have to support them, I seen Harley did this already on some models so it’s already out there if it becomes an issue and you need ideas. Enjoy Angel!🙂
Since the baffles aren't permanent, it would be really cool if you were make a video of some 0-60 mph/0-97kph runs with and without the baffles to see if there is any difference between them.
I made some baffles for my Vance & Hines.. those are interesting looking baffles mine r a little different I did end up wrapping mine inside sound deadening.. but it's kind of my own design.. yours is interested also.... Well done bike .... 🏍️👌👍
Everything turned out great Angel! But now that he is back together, I think you should drop the "crash" in his name. He is healed now and no longer injured and deserves a name fitting his new life. Just my silly opinion. Maybe you should wrap your pipes or make some shields so you dont burn yourself again..Ouch! Thanks for showing us your good work!
I do like the look of JC. It looks so much different than when you first got it. All the mods you and Dad did are really nice. The Shifter bracket and linkage mod are major! I Especially like the Footboards, more major mod !! I have a 2000 model Twin Cam, carbureated, FXDWG. I installed heel spurs on my fwd foot control foot pegs, and it made a big, comfortable difference for me. Your bike has been lowered a lot, how does it ride?
My bike seems to ride pretty nice! I’ve ever ridden with this kind of drivetrain set up before, but it handles pretty nicely at around 90 miles an hour!
Comparing the finished Dyna with when you did the wash video. Looks like you bought shorter shocks instead of moving the swing arm mount. If I am correct, how much shorter are the shocks? Looks good all polished and fitted to you.
@@RedRiderCanadaBC Thanks, I have always put 1" shorter shocks on my bikes to make them handle better on the road. The stock setup turns quicker and easier in town but I try to stay out of towns. It never made much sense to me, visually, to have 5" or more of clearance between the rear tire and the fender when the shocks only have 2 1/2" of travel. It would be different if this was 1920 and the roads were mud, or you are riding a dirt bike. Looks good, you have a good eye as well as short legs! 😅😅😅😅
Those dents are in a perfect place to remove. An old hammer handle or a piece of hockey stick through the filler hole will massage them out in no time.

I got shorter shocks and fork tubes, about 3 inches shorter than what was on there
