    I am very glad, it turned out to be a great motorcycle for every day. Do not forget to make a seat back or a "Sissibar" so that your back is not loaded with a backpack. It turned out a great exhaust. I remember a great story about the exhaust: It was the beginning of the two thousandth. My friend had a Jawa 350 12v motorcycle and he experimented with the exhaust and I remember how he decided to give maximum engine speed and the "flute" flew out of the muffler and hit one of his friends right in the groin, it was a funny story. For us, Jawa is a cult motorcycle, over which the guys puffed as best they could, everyone made a front fairing from a Velorex side trailer and bent the rear pipes of the frame to lean back as if you were sitting on an upholstered chair. Боюсь, что мой переводчик сделал глупый набор слов 😂

      @@RedRiderCanadaBC - You realize that you’re Dyna is going to spoil you to temperamental behavior going away unlike you’re Shovel, right? All I’ll say beyond that is, keep the Shovel for around town and Show. Depend on the Dyna. BTW Red, y’all did an awesome job on that Dyna and making it unique to YOU! The floorboards are a game changer in comfort on long rides. You make me wish I lived in Canada and you’re area of BC in particular. All my best to you.

    Yo Red, 1997 I bought a brand new Honda Valkyrie standard. My Squeeze (wearing shorts) jumped on the back seat for a short ride up to the local garage to drive my truck home. I called her out on the shorts. She said I'll be fine. It's only 5 mi, pulled up, She got off. Took off her bucket step back over to put it on the sissy bar & burnt her leg on my brand new Chrome exhaust. The look of agony on both of our faces. She with her burnt leg and me with a permanent skin tattoo on my brand new Chrome exhaust. SMH. My Chrome exhaust never recovered. 2023 she can still see the scar from the burn. By the way, your Motorsickle is Awesome.😂❤ You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda Valkyrie. Keep the Shiny Side Up.

    I love turned out pipes! The sound just bounces off everything you pass on the right side,especially when you are going by buildings or passing cars! I don’t think the sound is quite right yet! I think I would take part of the baffle off! That’s just me , I Iike mine a little louder with that Harley lope sound! I have been riding Harleys quite a while and I have heard a lot of bikes and when I hear the sound I’m looking for I know it! You look great! Ride safe and have loads of fun on your Dyna!😎👍✌️

    • @RedRiderCanadaBC
      @RedRiderCanadaBC  Год назад +1

      Yep, gotta love the sound of an HD for sure! I put in decent baffles to avoid unwanted attention from the cops... and that really low idle that some people like to give their Harleys sounds cool, but its actually pretty hard on the engine.

    • @harleyvulcancobra4.619
      @harleyvulcancobra4.619 Год назад

      @@RedRiderCanadaBC Yes,you don’t want to idle to low! I adjust mine between 900 and 1000 RPMs if I remember correctly depending on how it sounds! A lot of people set the idle to low and it just doesn’t sound good,it’s a recipe for motor trouble!I bought a digital tachometer to set the idle with! Have you ever checked your engine temperature with a digital thermometer! Last time I checked mine it was 220 degrees F ! It used to run hotter than that until I started using Mobil 20/50 full synthetic Vtwin motor oil! This oil actually made it run cooler ! I was surprised that it made it cooler! Have a great Tuesday and ride safe! Happy Trails! 😎✌️

      @@RedRiderCanadaBC Thanks, I have always put 1" shorter shocks on my bikes to make them handle better on the road. The stock setup turns quicker and easier in town but I try to stay out of towns. It never made much sense to me, visually, to have 5" or more of clearance between the rear tire and the fender when the shocks only have 2 1/2" of travel. It would be different if this was 1920 and the roads were mud, or you are riding a dirt bike. Looks good, you have a good eye as well as short legs! 😅😅😅😅
