    What an amazing choice keeping Lee's condition secret, it definitely produced some amazing results. I've never seen a more authentic performance from a child on film than in the fall.

    I think he's a genius for keeping Lee's ability to walk a secret and having a girl who didn't speak English perform "naturally" and gradually learn the language so it's more believable....great movie! It should have gotten noticed more and gotten some academy awards!

    I admire what he said about CGI. It's used just to clean up, but not to create mind-blowing effects. A lot of people go overboard with the CGI and the movie in question immediately loses its believability.

    Lee had to be a real genius to carry the script and plot along for the girl, to react to her appropriately while still telling the story the director wanted.

    i find tarsem singh style very visually appealing as an Indian i am proud to say he is doing better than indian bollywood industry who dont produce good.I only wished tarsemsingh made movies with a good story and narrative.sometime it gets too visual but losing the emotional component. I also enjoyed luc bessons fifth element which had similar feelings but stronger emotions..

    I actually saw the film and it is NOT R-Rating material. Why was it rated R?

    Ah, that explains why Alexandria imagined an Indian from India instead of a Native American Indian. Should have made the connection with Tarsem sooner ^^;;

    • @Shadow8Star
      @Shadow8Star 10 лет назад +20

      I believe Roy was picturing a Native American Indian like in the movie he'd been in, but Alexandria pictured her Indian friend from the picture.

    • @CrunchyCrustacean

      Actually I believe that was scripted because she (the character) had a friend friend from India who picked oranges with her and gave her her little elephant figure.

    I hope he continues to make these amazing movies and stays well away from that pathetic insult to cinema aka: Bollywood. Although at the end of Mirror Mirror he added that Indian style song & dance sequence mmm..... enough said there, I hope he's learnt his lesson!!

    has his own style
    and soince there have been 5 movies I can comfortably say
    he has his own visual style there with Tim Burton...

    Not entirely true. You can have a visual effects heavy movie and still have some of the best narrative, story, character etc. Star Wars: A New Hope, Minority Report, Star Trek etc just a few. Really depends on the movie at hand.
