What an amazing choice keeping Lee's condition secret, it definitely produced some amazing results. I've never seen a more authentic performance from a child on film than in the fall.
One of the best films ever made!
I think he's a genius for keeping Lee's ability to walk a secret and having a girl who didn't speak English perform "naturally" and gradually learn the language so it's more believable....great movie! It should have gotten noticed more and gotten some academy awards!
I admire what he said about CGI. It's used just to clean up, but not to create mind-blowing effects. A lot of people go overboard with the CGI and the movie in question immediately loses its believability.
The Fall is just an amazing movie❤❤❤
This guy is smart, and the way he talks about the movie is really generous. Thanks for the post, will be subscribing.
Lee had to be a real genius to carry the script and plot along for the girl, to react to her appropriately while still telling the story the director wanted.
i find tarsem singh style very visually appealing as an Indian i am proud to say he is doing better than indian bollywood industry who dont produce good.I only wished tarsemsingh made movies with a good story and narrative.sometime it gets too visual but losing the emotional component. I also enjoyed luc bessons fifth element which had similar feelings but stronger emotions..
I'm impressed. I want to see more from him
More, Tarsem, more! Thx for sharing your love of story with us.
I worked with the DP of this movie (in other projects).
Talented, funny, and generous guy!
He is intense. Please direct the movie - Shantaram!!
Thanks tarsem for such a beautiful movie
wow.. the blue city really does exist !!
I actually saw the film and it is NOT R-Rating material. Why was it rated R?
***** Sad reality I guess... well then, it's up to us to make films like this successful.
patphatcat that's NOTHING! I've seen movies with more violence than that and it's PG 15... rubbish!
Mandina Kymin I know. Whoever made decision was picky, but that is what I read.
patphatcat so sad... this was a beautiful movie
Mandina Kymin they were being overly sensitive, it's rated r for violent scenes.
love all his work. he 's one of the greatest of our times! no doubt
Loved this film. About to see it for the first time in years!
Ah, that explains why Alexandria imagined an Indian from India instead of a Native American Indian. Should have made the connection with Tarsem sooner ^^;;
I believe Roy was picturing a Native American Indian like in the movie he'd been in, but Alexandria pictured her Indian friend from the picture.
Actually I believe that was scripted because she (the character) had a friend friend from India who picked oranges with her and gave her her little elephant figure.
How much did the films of Alejandro Jodorowsky influence this gentleman?
I love this movie.......
This film is my favorite by far. Maybe there are other, much better stories. But it is about how it's made.
I wish someday he will do a movie about mahabharata epic cuz it will cool compare to other mahabharata movies.
I hope he continues to make these amazing movies and stays well away from that pathetic insult to cinema aka: Bollywood. Although at the end of Mirror Mirror he added that Indian style song & dance sequence mmm..... enough said there, I hope he's learnt his lesson!!
Agreed.
Does the rest of this interview exist?
pURE GENIUS TRYING TO BUY THE MOVIE HAVING SEEN IT ONCE WHY DOES THIS FILM NOT GET RELAUNCED ITIS ONE OF THEGREASTES FILMS OF ALL TIME CINEMATIC GENIUS
this man is really talented
has his own style
and soince there have been 5 movies I can comfortably say
he has his own visual style there with Tim Burton...
and yes he does more real effects, with clothes and props and less CG ...
whatever happened to him ? All his movies are brilliant. Wish he made more movies
My favourite genius
not only could Lee Pace walk he was a 6.5" giant lol
hello
👍
He should see immortals....oh shit
i think it was rated "R" for subject matter.
this guy is hilarious
1:30
He looks like Muammar Gaddafi. Hey Gaddafi is still alive.
Not entirely true. You can have a visual effects heavy movie and still have some of the best narrative, story, character etc. Star Wars: A New Hope, Minority Report, Star Trek etc just a few. Really depends on the movie at hand.
1:30 oof
1:30 .... what? lol
Let's leave the racism and biggotry at home, kids.
whats wrong with his skin? is he sick?
