Let’s create the ultimate and effortless beachy hair waves using a curling iron. This curling method is my current favorite for my longer hair length. I find that I have the most control and I use the least amount of heat on my hair. If you have shorter hair, this curling iron technique will also work for you. I also demonstrate on my shorter hair using a flat iron and a 1 inch curling iron and I couldn’t forget the Dyson Airwrap to achieve similar beachy hair waves.

My naturally curly hair went straight after chemo. All those years I complained about the curls and I missed them. This technique is how I learned to “do”straight hair and regain my curls”
Just came to say I am in the middle of chemo, still waiting for it all to fall out. Looking forward to trying this when I have longer hair again. Mine is stick straight so curious what will happen to it when comes back in.
@@GrowingHandsOnKids mine was stick straight before chemo. When it all started falling out, I had it shaved because it was so messy! When it came back, it had a beautiful wave for about a year and now it is straight again, but healthy and I can do these waves! Best to you

I love this style! My hair falls flat immediately and using any product makes my hair super oily, so I have never been able to achieve wavy or curly hair. You make it look so easy! 🥰
I have a straightener, multiple curling wands of different sizes, satin heatless curling things and no curler with a clamp... I can't buy no more I have no space!! -- I'll just try It with a straightener I imagine it will be similar

I think Tousle is the word you're looking for. Tussle is like wrestling.

And just because of the teacher in me: the correct word you mean to use is 'tousle' (sounds like HOUSE- el), which means to make hair look untidy vs. 'tussle', which means to struggle against somebody

Looks like there are extensions in the beachy hair. It looks longer than the straight hair and w a curl or a wave, if anything, the hair w waves should look shorter. Is the thumb nail pic off?

i find it really easy to work with a curling wand but when i try it with straightener i cannot for the life of me curl the non-dominant side. i bought dyson corrale just for this reason and i suck at creating curls with it.
Thank you for this video! I have a lot of hair, but it’s fine and pretty straight. It’s just a bit longer than yours was in the last segment. The Dyson look was my favorite. But I can’t afford it. I’m not sure I understand how to do the first look. Maybe a view from the side would help (more like what we would see in the mirror)? But I will practice the flat iron waves.
One tip I learned from another RUclipsr: how to hold the curly iron! Had no idea until I watched where to hold it correctly from pointer to thumb. 😂

Thank you for such a great explanation and doing it in so many different ways for so many different hair links and with different tools! I have been trying to master this for so long and I’ve watched so many videos and I have never heard anyone suggest to practice with a COLD tool. It makes so much sense because you only have a short window with your hair and I panic under pressure and I don’t want to damage my hair or burn my face.

When u make two braids you can ģet this wave.....
Mine just gets frizzy though after the braids come out. I need heat for no frizz. Probably from dry hair (heat and color- treated). Working on it.
