Exact same situation, the tbr7 is still going strong and I've only had it for a little over a year and 10000 miles but speed isn't there, I can barely get it to 68 after sprokets, jetting and opening the air box in let, Awesome surprised more people don't go with the tbr7, it's basically the same bike as the hawk but $200 cheaper and proper epa and dot certification making it easier to register in some of the iffy states
I have the csc sg250. it's a good beginner bike that can get you around town and commute to work. I'm enjoying it and may consider getting the RX4 in the future.
i was looking at that bad boy first, but the 60mph top speed of that bike worries me a bit, as I do hit the highway for work sometimes. Im also 200+ lbs. eek
@@robbievalentine8239any Japanese, European, India dual sport or ADV bike (below 550 lbs) struggles on the Highway. Just hold the right lane and make sure people can see you. But when your 30 miles off road and your bike is down you and you only need to get this bike up.
Without a counter balancer the engine would self destruct a lot sooner than with. It’s not an oh no extra parts will break down more situation but the opposite of that
Air filter is easy its just on side pannel and a hatch and the pannel filter come right out! If I can find a tuner I might see if I can install a pod filter that air box is huge and could probably save alot of weight
They call it an ADV bike, but it's a sport touring bike primarily, at stock. You can make it an offroad explorer with tire changes. That's why it's sold as an ADV, because it can do multiple things depending on how you configure.
Yeah, I agree with you on that. That's the primary way I use it. I live in the middle of no where, the closest city is 45 miles away and speed limits are 65mph. So I have mine set up for highway touring. Swapped out the spokes for the aluminum wheels and went with contitrails attack 3 tires.
Thanks! 😄 I have it on the windsheild adjustment knob, you have to make sure you adjust before you mount it, this wouldn't happen to be CJ from work would it?
@@AnthonyMedina That’s what I figured! So I’m guessing it’s the angled 9mm attachment, then the extension before the X? If you’re in CA, then maybe! Let me know. If so, we’ll message thru I G
Sorry for the late reply, I think with how popular these bikes are in the Asian markets, we'll still be able to get parts even if CSC goes out of business we just might have to wait longer for shipping. But honestly I'm not worried about CSC closing there doors anytime soon, they're making a lot of big moves and they're coming out with a lot of cool bikes!
Thanks for the review. I agree with your rx3 comment. It's not as up to date as the rx4. I saw other countries have a version of the rx3 that looks just like the rx4. Not sure why csc is still bringing in the older style. Was really hoping for the newer version this year. The price difference isn't enough to justify the rx3 over the rx4. The weight difference and the fact that you can't put a center stand on the rx4 sucks. All adventure bikes should at least have the centerstand as a option. Since I started researching I noticed other chinese adventure bikes that are even cooler, shame we can't get them. I guess with most americans attitude about china It'll take awhile. I think it's funny we'll spend 2 to 4 times more for a name brand bike built in china and call china bikes junk. It's a crazy world. Thanks again, I am still weighing my options.
My hawk 250 was so cool they stole it now I'm looking at the RX4...I loved my hawk this bike should be easy for me to ride . I love your videos lil bro keep it up!
I'm sorry to hear about that, it always sucks hearing about a stolen bike. I definitely recommend it's a major bang for buck bike 😂 Thank you for watching!! I need to find time to post some more videos 😂
Hey nice review! How do you do the maintenance/repairs on this bike? I don't know of any CSC shops in Florida. I would like to get a CSC bike as my first but am concerned that I will have nowhere to take it for maintenance/repairs or get parts if it breaks. I also live in Florida.
Thanks I haven't looked into having a shop work on my bike Ive done all the maintenance myself so far. That would be something cool to look I to one day. Once my classes are over I'll start making videos again 😄
Thanks man. I love Csc customer service. They have helped me with finding parts I need for my hawk. I'm looking at Royal Enfield INT 650 or an rx4 for a good commuter. Still not sure how reliably I can get parts for the int650 but I know how fast CSC can get parts to me.
Nice and more than fair video!, I keep watching your videos cause you're just a average Tony. Keep up the good work.Too bad you didn't have a CSC TT250 to go against the Hawk.
Thanks!! One day I want to check one out, the counterbalanced engine that the TT250 comes with is probably really nice, your hands go numb after a while on the hawk 😂
I would say you are a real rider and you enjoy working on and riding your bikes. Good stuff AM!
Thank you!😄 I haven't posted in a while but I'm hoping to be able to start posting again real soon!
Started on a tbr7, thinking of upgrading to this

I've been considering the sg250 I just don't have enough room in the garage at the moment 😂

Awesome review, btw 👍
Thanks!! 😄
What type of tires do you have on the RX-4 for off road work.
I was running the Shinko 804/805 combo, Its a great tire for the money!

Is there a dealership in FL or anywhere on the east coast? Or did you have it shipped to your house.
I had to ship it to the house, sometime they have free shipping promotions. sorry for the late reply 😅
Vibration ? Please say something about vibration of any kind.
What about changing the air filter

Where did you get the racks? Or did you buy the metal panniers?
Those are from the metal panniers i plan on doing an overview on them compared to the plastic panniers system 😄
What is it’s top speed?
Comfortably about 75mph, you can get up to 80-85mph for passing but I wouldn't stay there for long.
Anthony, how do you have the Ram mount attached?
I’m getting an RX4 and want to do the same. Thank you for your awesome videos!

Did you re-gear the bike or use it on stock gearing?

Looking at getting the 2021 rx4 . How dependable are the bikes.not sure if I have a Texas dealer that can service them.
Is that enduro adventure looks heavy to pick up
Can confirm 😂
That would be a cool video idea 🤔

That's an awesome bike for the price. Might be my next one lol. Reminds me of a mini BMW adventure bike
Is this bike fuel injected or carb?
Its feul injected 😄
Great vid. Anthony I am considering getting one now🤔👍🤟🏍
Thanks!! 😄 the 2021s have a digital dash it looks amazing
It's more adventure the tt250 is dual sport. I am not buying now but am looking at something like this or grab a used DR650 and modify it.
How does it handle highway use?
Pretty good when I'm fully loaded with camping gear I'm able to cruise around 75mph with plenty of passing power 😄

Were hawk in forestry .
I just looked up the KLR650 and boy is it ugly. To quote Fred Samson... "I'd like to smash yo face in some dough, and make gorilla cookies!" YUCK
"You love the bike and it's a great bike" you said but you only gave it a 76 % which is a C+...what's that?...!!!
