The moment he did "Demon staff" he was for that moment my fav character cause he prooved me that even with a basic weapon such as a bamboo you can be extremely dangerous
Vergo was the goat really, is actually pretty insane that if you have decent haki, nearly any shit can become at least a "usable" weapon. Also, Vergo's epíteto was the "Bamboo Demon", which sounds so goofy and menacing at the same time lol
@The813874 yeah and aside from stampede we saw him in 2 cover arts pretty recently and in one piece time its only been like 4 months since punk hazard so his time to do something is near
@ Right, cause the same sound made by moon walk should be shared with someone flying via smoke. At no time has Smoker ever moved that fast while flying to begin with, much less ‘pop’ forward in that manner unless it was moon walk. It’s straight up crazy how folks will ignore clearly added details to the fight.
@@Fragesed You can clearly see a smoke trail behind him. It would be pointless for him to use his DF power if he was using Moon Walk. It's not that deep.
@@a-buttonace you can literally hear the same sound effect as the move forward in mid air. Why would smoke make the same sound as moon walk? You have no imagination.
@@Fragesed Smoke doesn't have a sound. Yet, in this show, Smoker's attacks have several. Moonwalk also has several sound effects, and this isn't one of the usual ones. It also never occurred to you that some things can just sound the same. Even this show reuses sfx for different things. Smoker's been shown launching his body or parts of his body since his first arc. Giving himself a sudden boost in speed shouldn't be difficult. Luffy's also capable of flight using a technique similar to Moonwalk. Yet, he can only do that in Gear 4. So, that's 2 characters that can boost themselves in midair without using Moonwalk. So, let's try this again. There's a smoke trail behind Smoker's flight path, showing he's using his DF power. An ability that he's launched himself with several times. Why would he use Moonwalk and his DF power to fly at the same time? Vergo only needed to use MW to fly, so why should Smoker need assistance when they're using the same move? @@thatsalot3577 looking back to my comment, Vergo should't be categorize a hakiman because i completely forgot that he was a Rokushiki User Also, i Don't think that using the "he lost to a rookie" argument is good because compared to literally any villain that the Supernova had fought, they all lost to pirates who were on the seas for 2 years, while the likes of Kaido and Linlin were pirates for decades. So Vergo's loss to Law looking bad because Vergo was a pirate longer than Law was doesn't matter much. @@CesarMT1661 yup that's my point, the reason why I called law a rookie, because that's what he is in the grand scheme of things, he got his ass handed by doffy, you compared Vergo to Shanks, Shanks was strong enough to hold akainu with one arm (no pun intended) using just his haki coated sword during marineford to save Koby, And don't forget akainu was strong enough to punch holes inside whitebeard and yet he couldn't do anything to shanks, he's the only remaining emperor from last generation for a reason.
@@thatsalot3577 i wasn't really comparing Vergo's haki to Shanks's haki, i'm not that stupid, was talking more about the whole "hakiman" thing, people saying that Shanks isn't a swordsman but yes a "hakiman" and haki is his "fighting style". And Vergo as far as i remembered was basically a haki fighter, but since he uses the Rokushiki Arts that i had forgot, my conparison is wrong as well, if anything the only Hakiman in the series is Garp really

It's only that dangerous because he can harden it.
@a-buttonace no, its because he has mastery over his haki and combat
@@titanus261 Nga, haki is the thing that hardens it in the first place.

0:26 bro just did a combo😂
Crazy how no one acknowledges Toei giving Smoker Geppo/Moon Walk as a treat. Here’s hoping Marine’s get to use more Rokushiki moves
No he’s just flying bc of his devil fruit like what?😂

Mad as hell that 60% of Smoker and Vergo's exchange is Toei padding. They only animate him good when he's eating L's, we gotta fix this in 2025
on god this fight is great
two haki users just sluggin it out
he's a haki man
Vergo unironically was more of a Hakiman than what Shanks fans claims that Shanks is
