Hi Julian, your pretty much spot on with everything you said. I'm going through it at the minute, i had my prostate removed at the end of March, just had my bloods done and the PSA is still high, now have to go for a pet scan to locate where it's spread to and then go through radiotherapy, but that a few months away because of the operation i had. it's not if i can beat it but can the Doctors beat it for me. Good luck and all the best. carry on cycling 👍
Glad all the indignities of the treatment are done, fingers crossed you get the all clear! I do think a positive 'kick arse' mental attitude is a good thing to have when facing cancer though. It makes no physical difference but does make the treatment and recovery more bearable and so on. My neighbour has just had an operation to remove a kidney that had a tumour in it (thankfully it hadn't spread) but his positive approach got him through some rather worrying times, in fact, you'd never have known he was fearful of what lay ahead as he carried on as usual, liberally dispensing banter and getting out on bike rides. Anyway, Hutchings old boy, I'm looking forward to your appearance in the Guinness Book of Records (🤣)and seeing you getting back out on a bike - soon hopefully!
You are going strong Julian!
Thanks for sharing. I hope that your situation continues to improve!
Glad you are on the mend, Julian. Wishing you well from across the pond 🇺🇸. Looking forward to your cycling videos!
You are looking much better Julian, You can tell your energy level is much improved. Fingers crossed that the cancer is gone. Hoping the best for you.
