Being your own Medical Advocate is your responsibility. I had an issue that I suffered for 50 years and followed a treatment until it was approved by FDA. I went to my doctor and told them about it and found a treatment facility and I am on the regiment and living life. God answered my prayers.

Be cautious calling alternative options “weirdo.” There are plenty of effective options in the natural world and many of them can be utilized alongside pharmaceutical options with great results. To throw down a blanket statement that alternatives are weird is to shut off options without even examining their potential. It wasn’t long ago that “watchful waiting” was considered a dangerous idea. Now, especially with prostate cancer, it’s a game changer. Congrats on doing that research and putting yourself in a healthier and safer position. ❤

There has always been dooms day spending. People spending more than they make, that is why we hear of so many retirees barely makin it or have no savings. I think the younger generation that are making 100k or more now think they will always have a job making that or more. Some of the salaries you hear now are unbelievable especially some of the government jobs. Watched an interview with a homeland security agent making 170k , he was a supervisor, had some time in but was walking away from the job.

I wish I'd seen this vid before I had a kidney surgery several years ago. I did google up as much information as I was capable of and I didn't feel comfortable going through with the surgery BUT I'm "old school" and grew up poor..saw doctors very rarely. I was taught that those doctors were as close to all-knowing as one could get and to trust them unquestionably. As I aged I kept that mindset...I had "proof"...dr that delivered me treated me exclusively until he retired. He even delivered My first son lol Can't find thise doctors anymore and everyone is a specialist. Being passed from doctor to doctor doesn't afford us the time to even be familiar with any. That won't happen to me again! I'll trust my gut instinct even if what I learn is rudimentary info from google. My kidney surgery was unnecessary and did nothing at all to fix my issue however, it did cost my time from work, alot if pain and an expensive trip to a distant hospital when I later learned it was a surgery that could have been performed locally.

22:38 Now that everyone knows you are doing that, I hope you aren't in a county that taxes your "large purchase". Things like motor vehicles, of course, are licensed and taxed in your home county, but there are other things in some states that can bite you in the butt, that you don't even know about until someone rats you out through social media.

I have tried to call auto/home/umbrella insurers for quotes but it is hard to compare because different insurers bundle things differently and give different discounts. I found a deal that would save around $400 per year overall (roughly 18%) but I would lose the guaranteed renewal on my current auto policy. This makes it hard to figure out what would be best.

    - I think you meant prepper spending for paranoid people. Luxury spending by younger people is different (and dumb).
    - We forget how much better we are due to science and medical advances. My ancestors lived to late 30s 500 years ago (thanks Ancestry). Grandparents to 80s. My parents to 80s and 90s. I planned to early 90s (as a man) worst case! 😂
    - Great to hear about low miles is better to own. I drive very little and have a 20 year old car with 70,000 on it. The problem THEN becomes, is it garaged? If so, probably OK. Mine was not so the problem is parts aging out! I am about to take to my mechanic to replace rusted exhaust and do a check of any parts that age out like boots, hoses, belts, sensors, etc. A tip: have mechanic check and probably replace your air intake hose every 3 years. These things dry out and crack fast but most mechanics do not check them and charge you for other things NOT causing your engine light to come on and low power. He should clean the MAF too. You can also do these yourself for much much less money too!
    - Online insurance shopping was terrible more than a decade ago! I bet an AI doing comparing will be a game changer in the next few years! When you do shop around, always ask “Are there any other discounts?” over and over. They will not tell you!
    - Specialty treatment: Go to Hopkins, Mayo, Harvard, Cleveland Clinic, Stanford, etc. or your state med school like University of Iowa, UCLA, etc. But don’t delay, it might take weeks or months to get an appointment at top clinics.

Cheese will be moved. Regional or even the national economy may be shocked into a short-term recession. Powerful people will see their livelihood threatened. Many advertisers and influencers will SCREAM to their media mouthpieces. Elon may become the most hated man in America. His companies and their values may see short-term backlash. He won’t care, because he believes draconian changes are the key to long-term success.

HEY KRISTA! I watch all the time, but mostly I listen while driving in my car in my morning commute (coming out of my iphone via the car's bluetooth). TODAY, however I had you up on my computer while at work. Because you are full screen at this point for me, I NOTICED the shadows on your face. As a professional photographer, I really can't help but to let you know that your key light (the strongest light) in front of you and to your right is way way too low. If you look at this video back, you'll notice that your shadow coming from your nose goes up and back on your face. This is a definitely no-no in photography and videography. Not flattering at all.
By the way, I don''t notice the same shadow pattern on Clark's face. Either that particular light on him is not the strongest (overpowering the other lights) or it's positioned higher from the ground.
We have to make sure you're in the best light as you add so much to the show!! Keep up the great work (long time listener).
Just as a rule of thumb, whomever is looking at the light while positioning, it's important to look for that very shadow (from the bottom creases of your nose to see what direction they're going (the shadow that's caused by the tip of your nose to your face's natural round surface). If they are going down and off the the side, then that's generally what you want (definitely not UP and off to the side). News Anchors are lit so that there is NO shadow generally (evenly lit from bottom, mid and higher positioned lights). This is fine also, of course, but not necessarily required.
Looking forward to CLARK STINKS tomorrow! best episodes. : )
