When I first started watching, I honestly got sick to my stomach. Great job, Brett, Teresa, 35:45 You are a perfect helper. Great job done. I have to tell you Brett, you should have shoes that tie up on.
I was settling on the edge of my chair 😳 great job Mr. Brett. Yeah Madam Mayor I understand. Praise the Lord, he had his angels around him ... 🙏📖🙏🧎♀️🙏🧎♂️
You should have rented a scaffolding but was a thought Brett. My heart was beating 90 mph watching you 😮 I'm happy you are done...🥰 Therese if they would only listen more offen...🤣
I used to do things like that. I was young and stupid and had no fear of heights! Then, one day, a strong gust of wind blew me off the top of a 40-foot grain silo!😮😮! I gained a new respect for heights that day!!!😊😊 And now, at almost 72, I am just afraid of heights!!! LOL 😂😂😂
@MadamMayorsAdventures Luckily, there was about 2 or 3 feet of loose sawdust at the bottom. If you're wondering why there was sawdust around the silo, it's because it was used for sawdust storage in the lumber yard that I worked for. I was sore for several days, but luckily, there were no broken bones!!!😁😁 The long-term damage was not noticeable until much later. Right shoulder arthroscopic surgery, 2 neck surgeries, and 3 lumbar surgeries! I'm not complaining, though. I have a wonderful doctor!!! LOL 😅
Oh I remember these projects and either doing it myself or helping my husband, dad or father in law. Now I do ground projects only. Great job but prayed for you even though I knew it was already done. 👍🏻
Habitat for Humanity is a great place to shop. I’ve been many times to the one close to me. You just have to check the times they are open and go different times because things change.
Thar shaky ladder made me queasy!! I can still climb on a small stepladder rtat has a back place to grab on it. But my brother who lives with me cannot. However, with the many places of metal in me, including a severely fractured arm in October, I only do it when I must!! And then I make sure someone is with me. Climbing a ladder or step ladder as we age is scary!!
You are talking about being right handed but doing things left handed. My mom, grandma and older brother were left handed and so I use both hands but it took me years to realize I was even doing it, my ex husband asked me one day why I tied my shoes left handed, I said what do you mean? After showing me how he tied his I saw what he meant and realized why my brother after me struggled to tie his shoes even at the age of five, our youngest brother was left handed so he had no problem. But I do a lot of things left handed it seems crazy , also my daughter tie their shoes left handed and can use both hands quite well. We learn so much from a young age.

Brett your no spring chicken anymore you should’ve been on that ladder by the fan. It takes a lot longer time to bounce back if you get hurt.
Aww, wanted to see the fan working
Oh I remember these projects and either doing it myself or helping my husband, dad or father in law. Now I do ground projects only. Great job but prayed for you even though I knew it was already done. 👍🏻
I like staying on the ground too.
Oh my Lord. My knees were shaking
🤪
my heart was in my throat the whole time, LOL
Oh my goodness he made me have palpitations.
🫣 good job👍. Love your place.
Thank you.
I have to get on a ladder to reach my cabinet in the kitchen and other places. I am too short
Good things come in small packages.
Your upstairs is wired like our mobile home half the house on one 20amp circuit. Blows a fuse every time I use microwave and air fryer together.

That’s crazy he’s up on that ladder. I would never do that
Those creaking boards😂😂😂😂😮🫣❤
Turned out very good and very wel put together💪👍 please do not scare us again like this😅❤
Brett place a small strip Magnet. On the shaft of the Drill extension. 2:23
Brett climbing around like that ughhhh made me nervous but good job anyways.
Holly smokes that wee job was not risk assessed 😂Brett in his crocs on that ladder was giving me heart failure.
Me too! You know how men are. 🤣
As the saying goes. Common sense don’t grow in every one’s garden. Nice job looks professional!
Thank you
2:54 know Way I could Do that. Even looking at the video, looking down at the book Shelf. I am getting Dizzy.
Yikes my anxiety over the roof watching Brett on the ladder
🤣

Here we go again, time to close my eyes.
Well all of us have anxiety issues now. Oh my goodness.
Bret you are scaring me. 😨
Jeramey throws out so many cans of screws, nuts and bolts
What is the purpose of the 4x4 that's at the top of the stairs in the middle of the railing?
Or is that a 2x6...
I meant 2x4
There's a 4x4 post, and it may go all the way to the ground level as a support post. It goes behind the wall downstairs, so I don't really know.
Omg, you scared me to death.
Therese, please insist on tennis shoes for Brett when climbing ladders. It looks like he has crocs on😮 Maybe optical illusion
You know men don't listen.
Tip: Do the ground wires first.
OK I'm already scared watching seconds in.
Brett the adrenaline junkie!!!!😂
Ive heard theres two settings, one for summer and one for winter, reverse, is that true? 🇨🇦❤️🙏
Typically you blow up in winter and down in summer. But with an open floor we blow hot air down to first floor on low speed. It seems to work great.
If you're going to live there year round, I'd say you will end up insulating the ceilings and boxing them in. Your heat bill has to be high.
We only heat with propane and it hasn't been bad at all. The logs insulate really well. We won't cover up the ceiling. It's too beautiful.
Oh for the love of pete!
Brett you’re making me so nervous watching you !!
Can I borrow Brent as a handyman? I lost my husband going on 3 yrs ago?? Just kidding..be careful!
Big hugs.
Bret you need better shoes when climbing ladders. Those could slip off and then you may slip off. I use to wear sandals and slipped off a ladder.
Is it ok we feel scared of him being on the ladder like that

Does Brent rent out you're lucky lady that he's handy
Can you show it running sometime?
Just don't be a Jeremy LOL
Do you have any children separate or together?
Brett has 5, all grown. I have 1 grown. None together
Take a break and hope OSHA doesn’t show up!
🤣🤣🤣
Brett did a great job! But I am not trying it. God was looking after you! 🩷💙
I am grateful for God's protection.
