Iga is one of those players who I never really watched, but started to watch because the ridiculous amount of matches she has won in the past four months! I started watching her since RG 2020 because the first 3 matches she played, she never gave away 5 games or more in any of her matches (it continued until the end of RG where she won) + there was a moment when she asked after her match if Rafa is playing next in that court and she wanted to watch him.
I just love her. I want to see her play doubles with Rafa!

Yeah,whatever gets you through the match. At least nobody can hear her and than make a issue. You look at how Monica Seles was sailing along and than some nut stabbed her in the back. Her career was never the same again. That was a direct result of some deranged person not liking her grunting.

Tough 1st set for 1GA ...she didn't seem how to get out of it, she did seem lost...maybe, just maybe she could throw in more variations like drop shots, backhand slices...when she was looking for some answers. She was solid overall in the 2nd and 3rd, of course Zheng did drop her level then, after going toe to toe with 1GA in the first.
Get some well deserved rest 1GA...you're amazing!!!

And men are not emotional? Throwing racquets, yelling to umpires, smashing racquets, fighting with umpires and hitting the chair of an umpire with the racquet and almost hitting the umpire in the feet (Zverev) the biggest example of a emotional male player is Kyrgios and i see many people celebrating his poor behaviour, men and women can be emotional, lose control and behave poorly 🤷
