Thanks for reaching out! It's a bit hard to visualize the exact layout from your description, so I don’t want to make any assumptions that might not be accurate. If I have to "assume" from your question, it sounds like you want to use the dining table to block the view of the stove from the front door. To create a more effective barrier, you might need something like a partition or a shelf. you can check out my other video on front door Feng Shui ruclips.net/video/KJ3aiZth1fY/видео.html. Is Feng shui designed just for big houses? How about a studio or loft type houses or condominium? Are there remedies or solutions so that Qi will flow freely or smoothly?
Thank you so much for this great question, I love it! 😍Not many people reflect on this and instead take things at face value. Here’s my opinion to this Feng Shui principles do apply to any space, whether it’s a big house, studio, loft, or condominium, because the main goal is to ensure that Qi flows smoothly and positively. However, the challenge with smaller living spaces is that it can be harder to apply the Feng Shui principles passed down and recommended by our Chinese ancestors, who gathered their wisdom through time and experience. In smaller spaces, you might not be able to shift the bed to the ideal location or place the desk where you can focus best. In larger spaces, it’s much easier to work with these principles since you have more flexibility to move furniture around. You can simply have a dedicated room to work or even to gym! It’s a bit like life, If I have only $100 in your bank account, my options are limited, I have to choose carefully what I can buy, and only buy those I need. But if I have $10 million, I can buy almost anything. In a small space, you have to choose carefully how to use that “$100”, focusing on only the essential items. For small spaces, the key is to minimize clutter and adopt a more minimalist approach so that Qi can flow smoothly and freely. Don’t hoard 10chairs, when the house can only accommodate 2. For studio and loft-type homes, there’s still a lot of room to apply Feng Shui principles unless you’re dealing with very tiny spaces like some of the shoebox flats in Hong Kong, where it can be really challenging. I hope this helps!☺

Many houses in the UK have the front door, a narrow hallway and then a door leading to the kitchen. But putting a partition isn’t practical because it would block the hallway. Any suggestions? Keep the kitchen door closed?
That’s a great question! 😊 Yes, for your situation, the best solution is to keep the kitchen door closed as much as possible. While it’s not the best solution, as the ‘door clash’ symbolism is still there, keeping the door closed helps to retain the Qi within the hallway or living room, which is better than letting it flow directly into the kitchen. Hope that helps!♥

My kichen is next to my appartment front door left side and open lay out to the living room. Is crystal curtain a good solution to separete the view of kitchen to front door and living room ? Im talking about crystal and pearl curtain ? Thank you in advance.
Thank you for your question! 😊 I have to say, it's a bit challenging to fully visualize your space based on the description. However, since you said “thank you in advance,” I can’t just leave it at that, right? 😄 If I “assumed” (unofficial advice, since I didn’t see the place) that your kitchen is the first thing you see when you open your front door, and it shares the space with the living room, a crystal curtain might not be substantial enough to create the separation you’re looking for. But again, this is just what I imagine based on your description. The solutions I mentioned in the video might be more effective. That said, having something like a curtain to divide the space is still better than doing nothing at all.👍 For more accurate guidance, it might be best to consult a trusted Feng Shui advisor who can see the space. If you'd like, I’m available for a Feng Shui audit to help you get everything sorted out. ❤
My stove is in a small balcony, isolated by a door from the kitchen. The stove is not against the window, is on a lateral. What should be changed here, please? Remove the door? Or remove the wall between? As we just moved and we need to renovate anyway. Also, at 8:37 : how little distance is too little to be auspicious between stove and sink? I want to know where to put my stove. Thank you in advance!
Thanks for reaching out! I have to admit, it’s a bit difficult to visualize the exact layout based on your description alone. The flow of Qi can vary depending on the specifics of your space, so without a clearer picture, I wouldn’t want to give you the wrong advice.🙏 For the second part of your question, that’s something I can advise on. Different schools and Feng Shui advisors may have varying opinions on the ideal "distance" between the stove and sink-some say 60cm, others suggest at least 1m. In my view, as long as they aren’t placed right next to each other (like at 8:18), it’s generally fine. The 8:37 distance you mentioned is actually acceptable. If you want to be on the safe side, you can always place a plant between the stove and sink, like what i recommended. Remember, there’s no such thing as 100% perfect Feng Shui-just like in life, no one is perfect. If there’s a weakness in one area, we can always improve in other areas to balance things out. Since I can’t perfectly visualize the layout from a description, especially with just words alone, it’s always best to consult your trusted Feng Shui advisor if you’re concerned. Alternatively, feel free to arrange a Feng Shui audit with me, and we can take a closer look to get everything sorted out properly.😉
To find out if your kitchen is in the north-west area, stand in the centre of your house and use a compass to check the directions. This will give you an accurate reading of where the north-west sector is located in your home. If you are unsure where is the centre, you can refer to the floorplan. And nope, the entryway is not necessarily north...
@@Allan-Teo when standing at the center of the house, should we facing towards the main door (outward) or facing towards the inside of the house? Also, why the map shown opposite (south at the top and north at bottom side)? Thanks ahead for clarifying!
@@LittleEolf Thank you for your question! You can face any direction when standing at the center of your house. If you’re trying to figure out, for example, if your kitchen is in the NW direction, your compass will show the directions regardless of how and where you stand. As for the second part of your question, traditionally, the Chinese prefer to place South on top and North below on maps. But don’t worry, the directions remain the same. It’s like flipping your paper upside down-north is still north. It’s just a matter of perspective! Hope this helps! 😊
Thanks for reaching out! So if you can’t shift the stove, then maybe shift the door! Just kidding. Shifting the stove is definitely the best option, but since that’s not possible, adding a divider is the next best thing if you have the space. Otherwise, just closing the door as much as possible can help. I understand your concern, but don’t worry too much! While having the stove opposite the door isn't ideal in Feng Shui, do remember that Feng Shui is just one piece of the puzzle in the grand scheme of life. If you’ve noticed that your energy, health, or luck has been fine, then there’s no need to be overly concerned. Even using items as "cures" is really just about minimizing damage, not turn the bad qi into positive energy, like I mentioned in the video. There’s no such thing as 100/100 perfect Feng Shui, just like there is no perfect Man, or perfect life, no challenges at all. It’s about understanding we need to have balance, try our best to solve that issue, and make sure other areas do not have major feng shui mistakes. Hope this helps!❤
I have my stove and fridge facing each other. Our kitchen is too small so moving them or placing an object between them is impossible. Is there a way to fix it? Is putting a plant on top of the fridge will somehow balance it? If yes, is there a particular type of plant recommended? Thanks in advance…😊
Thank you for your question!😊 I have to say, one of your questions is really good, and I’m happy to answer it as best as I can. When it comes to whether it's ok to use fake plants, there are actually two camps on this topic, which the "experts" normally tends to share their own version of the story. I will tell you the rationale for both, and you judge to see which one suits you (this might be the only place you will hear this😛) One group feels that fake plants are not okay because they don’t have real growth, and they are fake which has a symbolism that there is no fruitful result. While another group argues that they’re fine because it’s all about symbolism, all about "mediating" the harmful effects of clashes (just like how a Painting works)! My take is this.... as much as possible, go for a real plant. It addresses both symbolism and signifies actual growth, which aligns better with Feng Shui principles. But let’s not get too obsessed with Feng Shui. If you’re someone who prefers low maintenance, doesn’t want to worry about watering or caring for a plant, and still wants to bring some remedy into your space, then using a fake plant is a decent alternative. As for where to place the plant in the kitchen, I actually covered that in the video. I put a lot of effort into making the video and making sure it’s thorough, so I recommend checking it out for the full answer. If you have any more questions after watching, feel free to reach out!😊
That’s a great question! Thanks for asking!🙏 It’s not something I see very often in my Feng Shui audits, but it’s essentially 'water' above 'fire,' which creates a clear water-fire clash. So, from a Feng Shui perspective, it’s not ideal. 😊
Thanks for reaching out! In your case, since adding a wall isn’t an option, perhaps you can place a small plant between the stove and sink to act as a mediator for the clash, as I mentioned in my video. If you feel good, your health is fine, and things are going well in your life, then there’s no need to be overly worried about the stove and sink facing each other. As I’ve said before, there’s no such thing as 100/100 Feng Shui, just like life isn’t perfect. We just do the best we can! Remember, Feng Shui is just one small piece of the puzzle in the grand scheme of life. If you can’t fix everything in this space, focus on improving the feng shui in other spaces. Or make it up in other areas of life. If energy of the female owner is weak, do make an effort to exercise and go for certain activities to boost the energy up! Hope that helps!🙏
Thank you, Allan. I have another question. In my house, we have five bathrooms. Four are located inside bedrooms, and the fifth is the guest bathroom. Do all the doors and toilet lids need to be closed? 🙏
Yes, absolutely. If you can make it a habit, it’s definitely for the best. Like I’ve said in this video and my other videos, the toilet's Qi is unclean, why would you want that energy flowing into your bedroom? Not to mention, leaving it open invites the odor to spread while you’re trying to relax or sleep. So, yes, keep those doors and lids closed for a healthier, more peaceful environment.
Thank you for your great advice. Would you be able to do a video on how to use feng shui bagua compass? I am sure many people want to know what direction their door is facing. I am one of the people. After I know which direction my door is facing, I think it’s easier to know what feng shui direction works for us.
Oh dear, I cannot move my stove in the kitchen... its in the island and because of my kitchen's crazy layout, it is the only place available for it🤦🏻♀️
Oh no, I totally understand your frustration! Kitchens can have some really tricky layouts, and sometimes the constraints are real. But don’t worry too much! Remember, Feng Shui is just one piece of the puzzle in the grand scheme of life. It is not everything. If you’ve noticed that your energy, health, or luck has been fine, there’s no need to stress too much over it. Feng Shui isn’t about achieving 100% perfection, it’s about creating a balanced and harmonious space. Sometimes, we might need to compromise a little on Feng Shui, but that’s okay because we can always improve in other areas of life, or improve the feng shui of other spaces in your home. It’s really about finding that balance between practicality and beauty. If your current setup works for you and isn’t negatively impacting your well-being, it’s all good! Like what i said in the video, if feng shui makes you overly restrictive, it's not used correctly.
@@Allan-Teo much appreciated, yes we have great flow in our home. When I walk into my home, it feels as if my home loves me and hugs me with "welcome back" 💝
@@Allan-TeoThank you for the interesting video :) Would it help placing a wooden board (eg about 3 centimeters high) eg used as a bar, on the Island behind the stove - to have a good effect, or how high do you think would it at least Need to be? To have the good Effekt of the Wall behind the stove. I Hope you know what I mean :) Thank you
@@elisabeth3111 Thank you for your question! 😊 Not everything has a cure in Feng Shui; if it did, I could live in a garbage dump and just “turn” negative energy into positive-it doesn’t quite work that way! In this case, the wooden board behind the stove likely won’t have the desired effect, as it’s not a solid, stable backing. Unless you can install a solid shelf (which might look a bit out of place), the best solution would be to shift the stove to an area with a solid wall behind it. That said, if your health and general well-being are fine, don’t worry too much! Feng Shui is just one small piece of the puzzle in the grand scheme of life. If you fall short here, you can always balance things out in other areas of your Feng Shui and life. Hope this helps! 🙏
Hello! 😊 As a practitioner, I’ve definitely come across this belief, but I have to say it doesn’t resonate with me personally, so I usually don’t comment on it. Feng Shui has countless taboos-easily over a thousand! It’s important to understand the reasoning behind any advice or belief, so I’d recommend asking the person who mentioned it why they feel that way. Ultimately, Feng Shui should harmonize with your lifestyle and beliefs, so do what feels right for you. Hope that helps.

I understand your concern, but don’t worry too much! While having the stove opposite the sink isn't ideal in Feng Shui, it's important to remember that Feng Shui is just one piece of the puzzle in the grand scheme of life. The kitchen is just only one space we consider in Feng Shui, and within the broader scope of Chinese metaphysics, Feng Shui itself is just one topic, it’s not everything. There are things to consider if we want to “fix” anything. For example, If you don’t cook regularly, the stove is more of a decor piece, so no need to stress. If you’ve noticed that your energy, health, or luck has been fine, then there’s no need to be overly concerned.🤗 The best remedy would still be to relocate either the sink or stove if possible, to prevent that clash. However, if that’s not an option right now, placing a plant next to the sink, as suggested in the video, can help balance the energy (acting as a mediator so the two energies don’t fight). If you have an island or peninsula between them, consider adding a vase with flowers or plants. Hope that helps!♥

@@Allan-Teovery helpful thanks, by the way I really enjoy you, low pressure, balanced approach to the videos, it makes using the information in a practical way so much easier. Thanks.
@@davidtsmith3520 Aww, thank you so much! ❤ Your kind words truly mean the world to me! I’m so glad the content resonates with you, and it’s support like this that keeps me motivated. 🙇
My kichen is next to my appartment front door left side and open lay out to the living room. Is crystal curtain a good solution to separete the view of kitchen to front door and living room ?
Im talking about crystal and pearl curtain ? Thank you in advance.
Thank you for your question! 😊
I have to say, it's a bit challenging to fully visualize your space based on the description.
That said, having something like a curtain to divide the space is still better than doing nothing at all.👍
For more accurate guidance, it might be best to consult a trusted Feng Shui advisor who can see the space.
The flow of Qi can vary depending on the specifics of your space, so without a clearer picture, I wouldn’t want to give you the wrong advice.🙏
For the second part of your question, that’s something I can advise on.
@@Allan-Teo Thank you so much!
How do you find out if your kitchen is in the north-west area? Do we assume our entryway as north as a guideline?
does this apply for those who live in the south hemisphere? Thanks!!!
When you mean kitchen and living is shared did you also mean kitchen with an island right across the living area?
hi there! it means your "stove" is in your living room. nothing to do with the island. Hope that clarifies🙏
Can water basin face the window?
the focus of kitchen in feng shui is the stove, not the water basin. So yes, water basin can face window.
What can I do if my stove is opposite my door? The stove is fixed, so I can’t move the stove.
Hi there! I’ve already answered this question in other comments, so feel free to check them out for more details. 😊 Thanks for understanding!🙏
Hi, Can a fake plant place in kitchen, if so which location in kitchen
If you have any more questions after watching, feel free to reach out!😊
Is it ok to put pot filler faucet over your stove?
That’s a great question! Thanks for asking!🙏 It’s not something I see very often in my Feng Shui audits, but it’s essentially 'water' above 'fire,' which creates a clear water-fire clash. So, from a Feng Shui perspective, it’s not ideal. 😊
My stove is on my island and facing directly at my sink. What should I do? I can’t put a wall on my island. In front of my sink I have a big window.
Thank you Allan🙏.
Благодарю
Пожалуйста! Спасибо за просмотр! 🙇🏻♂️
When I walk into my home, it feels as if my home loves me and hugs me with "welcome back" 💝
yeah... that's a very important indicator of good Qi! 🤗
@@Allan-TeoThank you for the interesting video :)
Would it help placing a wooden board (eg about 3 centimeters high) eg used as a bar, on the Island behind the stove - to have a good effect, or how high do you think would it at least Need to be?
Hello. Is it true, it is bad luck to store rice in a plastic container?

😱😱😱What will be another CURE FOR THE STOVE THAT IS OPPOSITE OF THE SINK? 😱😱😱😱My sink and stove face each other.🤯🤯🤯☹
I understand your concern, but don’t worry too much!
If you’ve noticed that your energy, health, or luck has been fine, then there’s no need to be overly concerned.🤗
The best remedy would still be to relocate either the sink or stove if possible, to prevent that clash. However, if that’s not an option right now, placing a plant next to the sink, as suggested in the video, can help balance the energy (acting as a mediator so the two energies don’t fight). If you have an island or peninsula between them, consider adding a vase with flowers or plants.
Hope that helps!♥
