He'll be a way better passer this year with the upgrade of receivers. Just look what he did at Mich State before his receivers were drafted.

Threw for less than 200 against Michigan and Ohio st and only completed 38% of his passes in the Ohio state game
It wasn’t just having future NFL wr’s he also benefited from an NFL running back a very talented Oline and obviously a schedule that had very few teams with SEC caliber talent

Auburn 10-2 Bama 6-6 in 2024
I love power rankings and have made my own model with 6 categories where I rank each team 1-16 for each then add up the totals. I’m thinking of sharing it on the Corner but maybe not because folks may freak out. My model has Auburn 11th but literally 1 point away from 10. We are a tier 3 team along with A&M, OU, Tennessee and Florida. It doesn’t mean Auburn can’t go 8-4 because we don’t play a lot of teams rated way above us.
I also think his pocket presence is questionable
I plan on beating Bama and winning 10 games this season it all depends on Payton and I think Payton can throw for over 2050 yards and throw for 24-26 TD and I think Hunter has a 1000 yards rushing
Those are fine expectations, but if we don’t meet them don’t take it out on Hugh.
It’s not reasonable to expect 10 wins and a road iron bowl win in y2.
Your basically saying you expect us to make the playoffs. Next year we can expect that rn that’s not a fair standard

I never end up watching live but im a weekly listener and i have a question.
Im a lifelong auburn fan that unfortunately grew up in Athens, Ga. Married to a uga grad, but despise uga more than anyone. When the hell are we going to beat them again in yalls opinion? I know uga looks unstoppable lately but hugh is recruiting at a very high level. Thoughts? War eagle!
Next years our best chance. We suck in Athens and compared to them we might as well have Vanderbilt level talent on the team.
Hugh has us heading in the right direction, but he needs to stack 1 or 2 more classes on top of this years class to be in the same position as GA.

But ya know anything’s possible… during the seasons we play them with our voodoo witch magic at home. So 2025 is our year! I hope I’m wrong tho and you come back to this comment in October and laugh along with me!
