I’m sure Auburn can lose 6 games easily. I never circle the expected wins anymore. Nothing surprises me.

Our defense was way better than our offense last year. Ron Robert’s was the strength of our team last year. He didn’t have any studs in the front 7. We had 1 nfl player in our front 7 but he still came up with a gameplan that held ole miss to 28, Georgia to 27, Alabama to 27, and completely shutdown cal, Arkansas, Mississippi state, and vandy . The only game the defense didn’t show up to was the New Mexico game while the offense only showed up in 2-3 games the whole season.

@@ryand4940I’d argue that was dj james fault. He turned his back to the qb. You never turn your back to the qb in that situation. The qb launched the ball from the 36 yard line so the ball was in the air for a few seconds. All he had to do was just stand in his zone and keep his eyes on the qb. Once the ball is launched then you run and go make a play. Nonsense in trying to face guard and trail the receiver man to man. Just simply stand there and wait on the qb to launch it. Once he throws it then go make a play. James had his back to the qb and didn’t know the ball was coming until it was too late.
@@jakepadgett5569 we rushed 2 guys. Nobody does that. Gave the QB 7 seconds and could have been longer if he chose to. Agreed there were multiple mistakes but not rushing 5 and dropping 6 to give the QB maybe 3 seconds to throw is what should happen.
@@ryand4940we rushed 4-5 guys all day and never got any pressure. I liked rushing 2-3 guys but the secondary should have all had zones with their eyes on the qb. Nobody should have been playing trail man with their eyes not on the qb . Nobody should have ever had their back to the qb. If you put 8-9 guys in the end zone all with a zone to play it’s an easy play to defend. The ball was launched from the 35-40 yard line. The ball was in the air for several seconds. Keep your eyes on the ball and go make a play
@@jakepadgett5569 any football mind would disagree with you that you only rush 2 guys. Well, except Roberts. Oh and we had a QB spy out there as well. Lol so dumb. QB isn’t gonna run it when it’s 4th and goal from the 31 yard line.
In my opinion the quarterback, o- line, and d- line are the 3 most important positions of a football team. We are pretty weak in all 3 rooms. I’ll be happy to make a bowl game. I could easily see us lose 6-7 games again. Either way I’ll be there for every game rooting like hell.
Don’t think you know what you’re talking about. The D LINE and O LINE are beefed up and set up for the next 2-3 seasons. And the QB of the next 2-3 seasons is already on campus.
@@mrharbin34haha. Our qb was last in the sec in qbr, and passing yards. Having the worst qb in the sec accompanied with a d line who Lost their best player while being 11th in the sec yards given up on the ground plus an o line who gave up the 3rd most sacks in the sec is a horrible recipe. Our qb went 3-4 games in a row without breaking 100 yards passing. I’m talking about next season. Yes I realize our freshman class is strong. Did you see how bad the o line looked on A day. Our left tackle wouldn’t start at any other sec school.
@@jakepadgett5569 This is how I know you don’t know what you’re talking about. Our LT started at MSU last season..Our OL is totally different other than the C and LG positions. PT has better weapons to deliver the ball to in Lewis, KLS, Coleman, and Burton.. Auburn will be fine.
@@mrharbin34I hope you’re right. I’m pulling like hell for them. The left tackle only started 5 games at Mississippi state. We have the same center, the same right tackle, both guards were on the team last year as well. Our left guard started at left tackle last year and our right guard played both left and right guard for us last year. Our left tackle is the only new addition and he’s also our worst offensive lineman. Go watch the A day film. He looked horrible. Hopefully he just had an off day but that’s not usually the case with lineman. Their play is usually pretty consistent where as a qb can have an off day or a receiver can just have a few drops on certain days but lineman is pretty much consistent.
