- On today's video we did a BRISKET SMOKED On The Cottongin Drum Smoker, i go step by step on how i did this amazing brisket using my drum smoker. Oh Lordy Ricky, How SWEEEET!! Your brisket is the 1st one I’ve ever seen cooked in a barrel and it just so happens to be a Cotton Gin which is even better. How much charcoal did you use in the 8 hrs?
Full basket last me whole cook time and still had some left.
Ricky, Have your tried cooking the brisket on the top setting of the Cotton gin? Do think the the middle setting is the better option?
Yea I tried it but the meat would be to close to the metal when closing it down! I find it better doing it on the middle

Mostly because how it looks, also adding the logo in the front was a big plus for me.
