Gorgeous model and an EPIC build series. Really love the workmanship and she's one hell of a looker in the air!! Perfect. I'm was smiling from ear to ear when she took to the air... Just awesome.
Epic! I built an overweight Vario 230 with Benzin gas mechanics and loved the extra mass. The damped response from the added weight smoothed its reaction to wind and stick movements, adding to the enjoyment and scale impression Also, you could try drilling a shallow (2mm) 3mm dia hole in the top of one blade. It sounds more scale as you hear the blade chop at half rotor speed. Well done.
Gonna be following your progress from the USA.... maybe I will fly mine someday.... heli are hard as hell to fly... I was pretty good at airplanes but very little hovering tome with electric helis... had a small electric heli once but it got where couldn't buy the fiber glass blades any longer even had a airwolf kit but never put it on it...
An awesome build and i just love watching you put these beauties together, a real joy to watch and see her fly at the end. Like you said in the video, 5.5kg and she went up so smooth and she was rock solid still, those retracts were fantastic, really impressed they held the weight. Where did you get the lights from? Im building a Funkey 600 Airwolf with Align 600 mechanics but want to add the lights and the light on the nose retract was a stroke of genius. Great video, keep up the great work you do.
Thank you very much! The nav lights I got from Amazon, they are 3W G.T. Power rc navigation lights, very cheap but very effective, you do need to make defused cones from acetate sheet however to get them to be visible from the side
Enjoyed the video. Yes, the Airwolf is a sweet scale choice. My Align Nitro Pro 50 has been sitting in my closet for years... never flown or fueled up.... I may have to get the ol girl out and girl her a try someday soon.... just gotta figure out how to set up the JR heli radio?
@@TheRMRCchannel gotta new Hitec Aurora 9x but don't know how to program it.... I used to know how to program Futaba radios years ago but forgot it all
Semi Symmetrical blades are hard to come by here and quite expensive compared to a set of fully symmetrical ones but to be honest on scale models I never have an issue with them if set up right

If you warm up ball links with a heat gun they can shrink a bit when they cool off. Might not need to replace.
Thanks for the tip I’ll try that next time as already replaced them now
I’m a little curious about esc and motor temperature, and mAh consumption. Keep us posted.

Not sure about JR never had one. I use Spektrum and Graupner for my radios, Spektrum for the helicopters as real easy too set up.

Awesome bird 👌👌 Did you look into using non-symmetric blades? On 6S you would get more efficiency that way. Cheers
