I will eventually play along with your Rolling Realms videos, but just got home from a 7-week trip and am still catching up on videos (as well as moving into our new house). Great video as always and have fun at GenCon!
Dang, Bill, sure sounds like you have a lot more important things to do than play a game with me, but whenever you get around to it, I'll keep an eye out for your scores. :) Congrats on the new house too!
@@meandHF - I am going to be pre-recording because some of the playthrough's will go live while I'm away from keyboard. I'll still be in the comments checking out how everyone is doing. :) Also, the solo golf definitely adds a whole new layer of challenge to the game. I'm not very good at it either.
I feel like a new game based on the license is more likely, for some reason. Total speculation, I just feel like because Jamey even mentioned it as a possibility that it seems somewhat more likely than an expansion.
@@TheMillShow this would be really exciting. I love red rising and wouldnt mind a promo pack or small expansion with new characters, but the scope is expanded so greatly in books 4-5 (and now 6 and 7) that I really want to see something meatier from SM in that world.
I believe Jamey refers to A Feast for Odin as one of his favorite Polyomino games, even though I totally disagree--I think it's more of a worker placement game, with the polyomino aspect being important but secondary. But if HE thinks of it as a polyomino game, I suspect it'll have that aspect, only with surrounding resources instead of completing rows and columns.
I think that chain of logic is pretty sound. If Jamey says its polyomino, it's polyomino as it relates to anything Stonemaier adjacent. :) As for playing AFFO on BGA, I'd be up for that. I need to watch a how to play first so a long game isn't made longer by the noob.
Jamey said (I think around the announcement of the first expansion) that he intends to include new civs in any tapestry expansion going forward, so unless he has had a change of heart for some reason, I think it's pretty much a given they will be included.
I think it makes sense for it to be true. It's one aspect of the game that really sort of changes how you'd play and provides the most opportunity, in my mind - short of a new track - that gives it an ability to feel new and familiar at the same time.
I'll be there most of the time. I think on any given day I'm only not in the booth for about 2 hours. The only exception is Sunday. I told MeepleSource I'd help them load their truck during teardown, so I'll only be in the booth Sunday from 10-1.
I'm sure the Rolling Realms pack will probably be some kind of Tetrisy thing, but that's already in the Tapestry realm because I think Jamey based the capital city maps on the AFFO tetrising. So, if not tetrising, maybe it will be something that makes fun of the fact that there's like 60 worker placement spots! Haha!
I m here with you for RR, Dusty!
Awesome! See you there, Gheorghe!

Hi Dusty! I’ll be happy to play Rolling Realms along with you!
Looking forward to playing some Rolling Realms with you Karel.. looks like there's the potential for a good bit of competition. :)
I'm in for Rolling Realms
Awesome! See you there, Kevin! :)
@@TheMillShow Are you just recording them ahead of time or live?
I've been playing through the solo golf game and I'm terrible at it haha.

Do you think there will be an expansion of Red Rising?

@@TheMillShow Thanks! That’s exciting too. I hope we can get both!

@@TheMillShow I'd suggest playing async, so i wouldn't care how long your turns took :)

I'm going to guess something in and around the feeding mechanism and having to alternative symbols each time.
I'll try playing RR with you! Definitely going to drop by the booth to say Hi! Are you going to be there most of the time the hall is open?
