I know this is super late and all, but Sub-Zero's Ice Aura in Unbreakable also powers up certain special moves like his Ice Burst and allows his Enhanced Ice Slide to freeze opponents.

Cryomancer subzero is his best imo. I am an offense heavy subzero. Ice hammer is a good overhead and it catches people that try and jump in off guard. Also throat slice is amazing. Its also fun and i am surprised that insee more grandmaster when cryomancer is the safer choice. Turtling as subzero is great but an offensive subzero is dangerous.
I found a pretty good little Cryomancer string, but I can't figure out how to properly utilize it in a combo. You wanna do his launcher (f-1, 2, 2,) into into his grab (f-4, 2, throw) but I feel like it can be comboed in to or it can have something thrown in the middle of it. The timing is just tricky to get the full string.
Oborawatabinoss Avagantamos Interesting. How much damage does this do? So far, the maximum damage I can do midscreen meterless is 31-32% by doing b2, run, Cold Blooded.
This is wrong, Most characters can punish his b2 even with the ice clone in the corner. Either by armor or long normals, many can even punish him with a full combo
Slide hits low and most people expect a wakeup that hits high. Also, an EX Slide switches positions which is useful when you're cornered. So when cornered do that and the tables are turned.
+Kharn526 yes i use it on opponents who like to duck block alot, i use overhead strike, step forward use hammer dash in and finish with the air hammer does good damage and scares them out of overuse of duck block
his unbreakable variation's projectile absorb also freezes the opponent if hit, you should've really mentioned that imo. :)
***** also, in grandmaster his ice clone can also stop one projectile

Subz is a more defensive character but I always find a way to play offensive with everyone :P

Ice clone then ex slide right after and you will throw them into the clone to set up another combo, pretty sweet

Placing a ice clone, then doing a basic combo into a EX Slide, will freeze your opponent. Which is a good way to string combos

Good job man. One other thing you should have mentioned is tht his ex freeze goes through other projectiles

What's the difference between ice clone and ice statue? Ice statue being the enhanced version of ice clone.

Astrodude55 A fun little combo is f122, 242, run, f42 throw. It's effective and can get them in the corner relatively quickly.

I am SOOOO use't to scorpion, that i suck at sub-zero, they are just nothing alike, but sub-zero sounds really strong though :)

sasuke23fmf That doesn't make him cheap. You know how you counter those? Slide=Block Low. Ice Clone=Don't Hit It.
