That’s interesting, if you checkout my NUC videos I’ve had a 8i3BEH and that couldn’t play 8K/60. Also your NUC isn’t HDMI 2.1, so can’t play to a 8K TV either. Plus, a Gen 8 can’t edit 8K.
Dear David Harry, Have you tried using Handbrake & QSV while encoding a 1080p or 4K video with the new 11th generation Intel CPU ? I would assume that Intel Quick Sync encoding should be both faster and also better quality as the Iris Xe is superior to the 630 UHD
Hi. Funny you should ask I'm just completing some more videos about this NUC and one is specifically a QSV encode in Handbrake and it's actually batter than you'd think. The QS engine in the DG1 can now encode 8K, seriously, it's awesome. Also, the Xe iGPU on this NUC is actually more powerful than the one on the new desktop 11th Gens, including the 11900K (UHD 750). The NUC's iGPU has more execution units and shaders. Another thing, I'm not sure if the UHD 750 uses the same QS engine as the Xe variant on the NUC, it should, but I'm not entirely sure about that right now. Can that Intel NUC play 2 different Videos and send it to 2 different Beamer and being synchronized? Or do I need to get extra an Raspberry or different Multiplayer. ;( HELP I want to show a 2-Channel Videowork
