Hi Kunal, There is another Gupta chaat in Matunga which is quite old. My grandfather started in 1952 and it was suppose to be one of the iconic places. If you interview people who are in their 50s and 60s , they will guide you to this place. This place is opposite to Amba Bhavan and it is still running. I will be honest. The quality is not the same and it is about to close. But this place is a emotion

For bhel....nothing beats Khed Shivapur when you cross Pune on Mumbai-Bangalore highway! Sevi Puri...Vashi Sector 29, Om Sai Sev Puri...their nylon sev is amazing!

Kunal and team you have brought me back to Mumbai, Sharma Chaat was and is our favorite place for chaat in Mumbai, I have the fondest memories of going to have pani puri with my girlfriend. They knew us well there and would get nice cold water from the back and make it extra spicy for us. Thanks to you and your team for this nostalgic trip back.
There is a quaint little outlet near gol masjid near metro, Marine Lines in a lane with Sassanian restaurant on the left and this place on the right. I love their Sev Puri, paani Puri. Another place is near Round building known for single / double samosa bhel. Something unique and yummy. Must try

No hygiene all in this place ...dirty spoons & plates . please avoid going there
fruit bhel at Satkar, Churchgate used to be marvelous ... don't know who else is making that now a days
