Michael is Brilliant.
He should have won an Oscar years ago.
Very Unfair.
Older people like me will remember Mr. Keaton from the movie "Night Shift", with Henry Winkler. It was his first major part, I think, and he was HILARIOUS.....
You're right...Absolutely hilarious!
I'm an idea man....
@@chefpaddy LOL...The tuna fish😂

A 70-yr old looking and acting like a 50 something yr old guy....
Bravo!! He's indeed THE BATMAN. 👏👏👏👏👏
Nah..he's just old semi bald Bruce Wayne. 😂😂😂
He looks so good , wow really really taking care of himself and he is a delightful person to talk to I see 🙂
And that jeans and wool jumper combo looks HELLA comfortable.
🤔😍
I am getting old.
😆
People believe Keaton is drunk or on drugs, while they have to remember the man is 70 years old! He wouldn't look like this if he had a drinking and drug problem. Plus, he's always like this. Check out his early interviews from the 80's and the 90's. He's an energetic guy. He's awesome!
Michael Keaton was an incredible Batman but my all-time favorite role of his will always be Beetlejuice :)
He is Batman
@@davidtorres4645 I'm Batman!
Wait, Micheal Keaton was Beetlejuice? That don't sound right lol
Beetlejuice...
Beetlejuice...
...
.......
BEETLEJUICE!
* looks around for the next movie.... then hangs head low cause there hasn't been a sequel yet *
@@DeathWish92 He was :)
Ya know, after watching the other clips of him, I don’t think he’s drunk or on coke like other people are saying. I think it’s an adrenaline high from being in front of a live audience again after so many months without that. It’s an actor’s favorite drug and one he probably hadn’t had in a really long time.
Looks too good for his age to have a drug serious problem
Given that he’s not typically a stage actor, I’m sure he lapped it all up. It’s nice he made it so special for us all.
He is getting on a bit and rambles a bit. We all end up doing it.
I agree. People who genuinely DO feed off of audiences like that really do have a visceral, physiological response to crowd excitement/performance vibes. I find it comfortingly human to see famous entertainers get 'wrapped up' in that energetic flush of natural chemicals. It keeps them young and engaging, and normalises such responses so that when non-famous entertainers act with similar hyper enthusiasm, we don't look quite as ridiculous as we feel.
(Still ridiculous, sure--but less-so.) :)
I've been a fan for 40 years -he's ALWAYS been like that! It's his personality. He's got a nutty, high-energy, comedic sense of humor.
I’ve been in love with this man as long as I can remember
Me too.
Same..batman, multiplicity, omg he was the sh!t in Beetlejuice! I love him so much
Even wearing jeggings?! 🤣
@@oneirishpoet ohhhh ESPECIALLY wearing jeggings!! Him and Conan in jeggings 🧡🧡😂
Ditto, he is a wonderful actor, he can do anything.
He's a bit like John Lithgow's hip cooler younger brother
Many great actors of their calibre have that vibe.
Cooler than Lithgow?
Stephen is a great healer. I get tuned in right when I need to ... Perfect timing. Keaton is a great actor....
So many amazing roles from him..Multiplicity holds a very special place in my heart
Great movie. Underrated.
This man is 70…holy shit 😳
No way!!!!!!
A good example of 'Use It Or Lose It' !!
Sure those others are good, but “Mr. Mom” is one of his best films. I said it. Come at me, bro.
The fight between Michael and the appliances is a grudge match.
@@traceythompson1092 Definitely. He mastered them in the end.
@@RogerHerzler he sure did!
The way he defeated that vacuum.
Omg... Mr. MOM! I JUST SPIT MY DRINK OUT!
The vacuum... remember it's name? I do!
I gained respect for the actor Michael Keaton when I saw the movie Multiplicity. A surprisingly profound movie, and great characterS played by Keaton.
I've been in love with him since I was like 12. I'm almost 40. Still the same.
Me too, but I was 15 and it was Mr. Mom.
I think I was 7 or 8, first it was Batman, but when I was 10 or so, I really fell for him in Mulitiplicity. Still one of my favorite movies, so underrated.
Same
Love him sooo funny
Very talented and flexible actor
Bird man is actually an amazing and underrated movie.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
oh how I dislike that film.
Great film and he won best actor for his role too!
The Dopesick series is going to be Amazing.
Michael Keaton is the ONLY Batman for me! My favorite roles of his were in Much Ado About Nothing, Multiplicity, and Spider-Man Homecoming! 🤗🤗🤗💞💞💞💞💞
Thank you! Not too many appreciate his work in Multiplicity. I could expound for pages, so I won’t expound at all. You know what i mean. Oh! Johnny Dangerously. Still quoting it.
Keaton has been a favorite since as a kid I first saw night shift because of Winkler. I watched it so many times on HBO back then.
Pacific Heights is underrated. He was phenomenal.
He was so creepy and scary!!
That was a terrific film!
He was fantastic in Much Ado About Nothing - brilliant Shakespearean casting!
Brilliant. These two mem are national treasures. Thank you. : )
I was hoping that he would be played in with "Jumpin' Jack Flash", the tune he was singing when he came in in "Night Shift"...
The "Michael Keaton" hat line had me in stitches! 😂💕👍
He’s an incredible human
Michael didnt even let stephen have a chance to ask him interview questions! Lol
😆😆😆
He seemed nervous or felt he needed to perform rather than just relax and trust Stephen navigate the interview safely!
@@DianeSLewis100 or, more likely, just overly excited to be in front of a live audience🤷🏻♀️
Michael Keaton was upstaged by Jack Nicholson in Batman, so Beetlejuice will always be my favorite. But he's one of the best most underrated actors. Don't believe me? Try 'Clean and Sober' & 'One Good Cop".
When thinking of Michael Keaton, JOHNNY DANGEROUSLY will ALWAYS come to mind 🤣
My mutha hung me on a hook once.
Once.
Ah Ma, you always were a sucker for a left.
@@AprilAiteen 🤣classic!!!

In much Ado about nothing, he was the guard who woke himself by farting!
Still cracks me up.
He was so great in that adaptation!
Michael’s lips in Batman changed my life as a teenage girl.
🤣 #truth
Was literally just thinking of that very sight. Swoon
These commercials are why longform conversations are thriving in the podcast world.
My favorite role of his is "My Life".
My first date was seeing Batman in 1988. Erin Mooney. Thanx bud for your work.
Wasn't he also "the Vulture" in Spiderman: Homecoming? If so, he plays many characters whose names are linked to flying animals, this includes "Beetlejuice" because beetles can also fly.
He was also Mr. Mom
@@Timetonut Classic movie.
And yes, he was the Vulture.
Batman, Birdman, Vulture, yeah.
Beetlejuice is actually Betelgeuse though.
this must be a...(drums please!)... CONSPIRACY!

Keaton has such great comedy. "Let's just do it again!"
Best entrance I've ever seen from someone dressed like your dad. :).
Michael Keaton walking with his black mask in Gotham. "I'm Rat-Man"
He is an amazing talent
Michael's one of the better guests on the show. He's just super genuine and comes across as super normal. I can't articulate it but he's just funny.
Puts his mask on to protect the rats😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Funny and sweet.
One of the greatest and most versatile actors of this generation!!
“Are ya here for the bath mats?’ He’s the best, hilarious and so underrated
Thank you♥️ Phoenix area
Beetleman, batman, birdman, spiderman, multiplicity man.....he's a man's man's man.
Oh sure, a "man's man" wearing jeggings WTF? Srsly the dude is wearing tights!
Lmaooo Keaton so damn funny lmaoooo
One of the greatest funnest actors in a century.
He's a legend.
Johnny Dangerously Rules!!! 🤣
Man this guys got to make a splash on this re-emergence Beetlejuice like Batman he great character top notch acting
Love, love, love Michael Keaton, best Batman of all the movies. There isn't a bad Michael Keaton movie.
Man, missed opportunity to give his intro a bit of an added theme. “You know joke from Batman, Birdman and Spider-Man”
All 3 end in “man” and all 3 roles are flying creatures of sorts 🤣
Mannnn, I fell in love with his acting after seeing My Life. Amazing filmography too.
@Michael Keaton, Thank you for all your amazing work. I'm so humbled to see you respond. You will always be the MAN. I wish you all the best in all your future projects. 💕❤️ #fangirling!
Stephen Colbert said "Birdman" and a chill went down my spine...
Loved that movie so much, I bought and read the book of short stories he made into a show...good stuff
I mean its a good movie, but I was referring to the TV show.
I swear hes interviewing colbert and not the other way around. I almost wish he had a podcast.
"Ever dance with the Devil in the pale Moon light...?" 🦇
He's my all time favourite birdman 🙌🙏👏👏
Hi. Are you OK? nice to meet you
I wish interviewers would more often mention Michael’s smaller films, which I actually loved better than the blockbusters. Multiplicity, Founder, Clean and Sober, the enigmatic Birdman…et al
Keaton’s filmography is impressive and diverse, and I hope he doesn’t regard his lesser works as lesser successes.
Hi. Are you OK? nice to meet you
"The Paper" was a great movie. Marisa Tomei didn't hurt it either. Surprised to see no one else mentioned it!
One of my favorites!
Never heard of it
@@Richard_Nickerson Watch it. I had Glen Close, Michael Keaton, Marisa Tormei, Randy Quade, George from Seinfeld and I can't remember who else. Fast paced and funny.
@@j.dragon651
George from Seinfeld is Jason Alexander
@@Richard_Nickerson I couldn't remember his name. I never saw a Seinfeld show. Just bits and pieces at somewhere besides my house. I knew he was George.
This man is a national treasure.
He is hammered
Seems lil bit more than hammered 👃
His small part in Shakespeare's Much Ado about Nothing by Kenneth Branagh was hilarious. It's only maybe three or four scenes but it cracks me up every time.
I wonder if he ever got a horse?
I've always wanted him to be my dad - not 'daddy' but my actually father lol. Loved him for years!!
He sounds like he's doing a Martin Short impression
I liked jonny dangerously one of my faves.
Any other Multiplicity fans here??? Keaton is a legend!
Hi, nice to meet you, how are you now?
"How many people come on and actually thank you (for having them on your show)?" Always the Every Man; Mister Michael Keaton!!
If they ever make a Billy Joel movie i nominate Michael Keaton!
great idea!
He was great in "Dream Team."
FANTASTIC
He's so fit. Maybe it's his life on the ranch.
@Michael Keaton I see you've lost your ability to communicate in English.
Michael Keaton will always be Batman to me. I am with John Baptiste on this one.
god micheal keaton is still one of my favorite actors of all time
He really does know how to make an entrance.
I really enjoyed getting a tip from this man while I was street performing in our hometown of Pittsburgh.

Clean and Sober is still in my top tens!
What, no Mr. Mom? His fight with the vacuum cleaner was epic!

I wanna live Dangerous-LY!
I wanna looooove... Dang-er-ous-lyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
You've been our Batman, our Betelgeuse, and our Johnny Dangerously and you nailed them so well that your love for Mr. Rogers is just lagniappe at this point. You've earned your throne in the American dramatic pantheon. It's wonderful to see him in such good spirits too--He's an idea man, Chuck! (Call Starkist.) ;)
How many actors have there been who are as good in comedic roles AND dramatic roles as Michael Keaton? I'm having trouble thinking of any.
Showing my age, but I think Jack Lemmon belongs in that group.
Hi, nice to meet you, how are you now?
This is fantastic
I always think of Mr. Mom when I see him. "north to drop off and south the pick up". Anyhow he's great. And I kinda wish Evie was on this episode ...
What is that song that's playing at the beginning?? So infectious!
I want to see the rest of his shirt, but the sweater is rad too.
I loved him in Dream Team!
@Michael Keaton I'm in Florida, but I promise I'm not a Floriduh woman 😹 I have can't say I've ever been disappointed in a movie you're in. I quote several movies often. Thanks for keep us entertained over the years!
Seeing the rats and wanting to put the mask on urge was killing me! I'm dying!
Massively underrated
Nobody ever talks about Multiplicity that movie is funny as hell
I like pizza
Pittsburgh's hometown boy. 🥰
I feel as though Michael Keaton had dodged any potentially stupid or uncomfortable questions that would have been thrown his way by calling upon all his improv experience and essentially turning the interview into a 15 minute comedy set worthy of his old stomping grounds, the Improv. And,not only I'm not even mad, I feel as though that Craig Ferguson was cheated out of one hell of an interview.
If you see it, darling, then it's there! With every single beat of my heart. Every single day of my life."😄
You're going to end up buying drinks for pretty much everyone at the bar. I hope you have a big budget. 💰🍻🥂🍹🍸🥃🍷
Honestly, my absolute favourite role he has ever done was Captain Gene. Probably the best part about that movie.
