I can see some similar attack patterns with the spear throwing and lunging attacks but claiming that Kiana is "basically Mantis Lords'" is quite the stretch. This boss fight is like 4 times more complex, fluid and intense compared to them.
@@valentinvas6454 Tbh, I wish Hollow Knight bosses were that complex. Don’t get me wrong, I love the game to death. I have beaten P5 and every boss on radiant. However, I still feel like a whole lot of bosses are too simple. I mean, TC said it was intentional because of “shoe string budget”, so I hope Silksong has bosses this complex. I mean when the game has taken over 5 years at this point, I kinda expect it. Or SS might have like 80 simpler bosses idk.
@@valentinvas6454 Don't forget the phases that Kiana flies at you from the left, right, and top (just like Mantis Lords). Complex does not equate to "better".

This has to be on rookie difficulty.. On higher ranks the damage output is insane and remembering on the spot is a must in this game
I had to switch from hero to fighter. So from hard to normal. He was really strong. On normal he was pretty easy for me

I just beat the game last night, and she was the one who gave me the most trouble.
She by far probably one of the tougher ones on harder difficulty, still I found her to be the prefect sandbag for a crash course with my new moves.

The upgrade is available at this point in the game. It's just a matter of farming 2500 crystals.
