- CREAMY CALDERETA
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 large red onion, sliced
1 whole chicken, cut into 12-16 pieces
1 tablespoon fish sauce
½ cup evaporated milk
½ cup water
3 pieces potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
1 can garbanzos
1 can whole mushrooms
1 can water chestnut
1 /2 cup grated processed cheese
1 ladle/ sandok white vinegar
Salt and pepper, sugar to taste
NOTES: You may also use Pork (stew cut) instead of chicken, Use approximately 1- 1.5 kilo pork meat.

Ganito kami mag Caldereta tuwing Fiesta ng San Jose , Biñan. No one believe me whenever I say it is caldereta. Finally! Hindi na nila iisipin na ng iimbento lang ako 🤣

My late mother is also bicolana same po sila ng mother nyo pag magluto laging may suka na nilalagay sa pagkain....iwas panis daw po lalo n kung ang food ay ihahanda sa mga okasyon at marami. Stay safe po chef

I wish my Mom could cook when we were younger ; I envy other kids growing up with Moms who can cook .. so to this day.. I still don't know how to cook .. results are either burnt or overcook .. but I will definitely try your creamy caldereta with pork ribs.. thanks..
