Although it would be cool, truth is it would kinda make for a sucky round. More fun would be to pair each person up with another. They then have a minute to kill their partner else they both die.
It would be good for a bigger group but with a group of 7 or 8 narrowing it down to 4 would be a bit harsh. At that point it basically becomes kill everyone left because they are most likely a traitor

There should be a traitor weapon grenade called the sharknade-oh that causes people in the range of the explosion to get sucked into a tornado that has sharks that eat you. That would be really cool to see IMO.

I kinda do like the unique buy menu idea. I think I played in a server that had extra stuff you could unlock in the buy menu by either donating or just playing a lot on their server once. Oh, and Ben could add different loadouts for each main cast person based on their personality, like PC master race would start with harpoons unlocked :V

you know what would be dark.... useing the red matter bomb, right over a giant hole or pit, to draw everyone into the pit.. just like whenever a movie hires Bradd Pitt to be one of the main cast... no one can resist going to see it
It would be cool if they have like an item that only that person can get as a traitor, but its a very subtle item, so it's hard for them to figure it out. Like, obviously no duncannon for Duncan, but something small and depending on their playstyle or preferences.
We almost had this a year later with Ravs' fart sniper but I agree. It would be cool if each player had a special traitor and detective item that they could purchase. Lewis could have the Hwapoon-an infinite use harpoon but the "HWAPOON" sound is loud, Ben could have a special remote sticky bomb and beepulon, Duncan could bring back the dubstep, guitar or random guns

I think that idea they had at the start could actually be worked into something rather fun. So the traitors start the game and they get to pick 2 items from their whole arsenal to be able to use from the get-go. They then can earn items by: killing innocents, moving/hiding bodies, being near innocents and not getting caught for an elongated period of time and they can get 4 items by killing the detective. Same thing for the detective but reversed. The randomat could also get an extra feature or 2 like: Traitor arsenal unlocked! or Detective arsenal unlocked! and it's a game thing so every game until you leave the server you keep what you have gotten previously and when you leave it resets. And if you feel like being extra dickish you can make cash by having so people can buy arsenals.

Have it kill half the players, but all the players not just innocents. So the downside of using it is there is a fair chance you end up killing both you and your traitor buddy.
