Great job Melanie! This is a great video. I did this exact same thing with my old washing machine I had for 20 yrs. I have since gotten a new washer and dryer…. But it was so satisfying to know that I could fix that old machine myself! It’s amazing what we can do with just a little knowledge from RUclips university 😆 Thanks for sharing! @@jonnychedar I hope the video was a help. After this video we put on all of the parts of that agitator, including the inner tall hub that we had to use 4 screw drivers to get off. I have not gotten a chance to do the video about it yet. We also found some of the parts from Kenmore were compatible and good parts so we used some of those. Tested our shift actuator under the machine and it was testing weak so got one of those also. Found the shift actuators really vary in prices for the exact same one.
Speed Queen Classic seems to be the sturdiest out of all.
