The more I listen to Michael's solo album, the more I appreciate it, even after all these years. Beautiful and haunting. Poor Michael, he wasn't in the happiest of places when he recorded this. Miss him so much. ❤

Michael recorded his part and after his death Bono was asked if he wanted to finish it. Thank God he did.

I believe Michael stared recording this around 1996, which means he was thinking of suicide at least 1 year before committing the act. After many hours of reading up about his life , listening to interviews etc i think he felt totally exhausted, depleted and spent. Doors closing all around him, fallouts left and right with friends, family the INXS guys, Bono, Paula, court case, the press. Then dealing with a drug addiction and to top it all off a TBI leaving him with no sense of smell and taste! I've come to the conclusion that i simply think he felt he was DONE in this life. I also don't believe he has any regrets about it and probably wouldn't come back to this life if he was offered. God bless him. No one should ever have to feel like this, extraordinary artist, singer and one of the greatest most charismatic frontmen of all time. God bless you Michael we LOVE and miss You forever! ♥

It's incredible. He separated and showed what he finally had to offer as an individual.. such a versatile guy! Even in 2019 he could cross genre, time... and michaelise it and show how it's done.

This is one of my FAVOURITE ALBUMS from Michael and your RIGHT it did truly mean a lot to Michael i wish people would go out and buy it ! The lyrics in this album to me was Michael's way of speaking about his life and what he was going through he articulated it through his music a TRULY TALENTED BEAUTIFUL MAN❤

Michael has DEFINITELY mystified everyone ! Michael was and still is a true icon in the music industry he was a one of a kind human being ! That's what makes it so hard to come to terms with his death. That such an INCREDIBLY TALENTED BEAUTIFUL

I saw Mystife just yesterday. GOd! he made 5 phone calls since 5:30 till 10:40 am just claming for help. nobody went to him except his ex, michele. late. but more people could be helped him, and they left him alone with a terrible nervous crisis, over past in drogs and alchool, and desperate. He just couldn´t take it any more.
If somebody like the guys in the band, who acctually heard him crying on the phone would runned yo him, he could been saved

Michael's solo album is a fabulous album. It's a shame that he didn't get to see it released, but he got to witness nearly three entire album being finished. I'm thankful for that. It's dark & moody, but really great! Always will love MH & INXS. Huge talent there. He's very missed.

Y qué buen álbum, ayer paseaba por musimundo para ver que había de INXS y no había absolutamente nada, pero de casualidad encontré una sola unidad del álbum solista de Michael Hutchence, y estaba barato, así que no podía desaprovechar esa oportunidad. Lo compré y hoy lo estoy disfrutando muchísimo.
Recien vuelvo a ver este video que esta entre mis Favoritos, Excellente y tambien me emociona, yo los conoci en el 89...
