Imagine observing the night sky before any light pollution...
and air pollution
If I had known that it was happening I would've had my planetarium fired up! I've got a 'poor man's' version of Starry Night called Stellarium, and it's totally awesome because I can not only view meteor showers, but I can track asteroids/comets in real time. I can get updates from Minor Planet Center over the internet.
The big island is Hawaii has an amazing view of the night’s sky on a clear day.
Or, if you can get up there the observatory on Mauna Kea, or the PANNSTARS observatory on Maui. Both would have pristine sky conditions, considering the fact that they're both on top of volcanoes.
There's a mountain close to where I live where there is no light pollution. I used to go there a lot with my brother to see meteors.
i saw few meteors of them last week when i drunk with my friends, we were getting back home at 3AM and saw few meteors of them. I am getting hyped up for geminids, ursids and quadrantids!
God says for us not to "intoxicate our bodies." They are His Temple. You are made for so much more, precious dear friend
@@lvelez1999 hey buddy i wasn't drunk we were just enjoying our weekend and had some fun outside, don't take it too religious
@Jacob Warren really ok. Well, let's say that you are planning to present a marketing campaign with graphic design. Explain to me how that "design" will come to be? Every design Must have a Designer. Eternity is an awful long time to be wrong. Our Saviour Jesus, proves Himself and His Word every day, just turn on the news. I say this all in love. How could we not look in to a baby's eyes or the night sky and not see God's Wonders? Nothing comes from nothing. Life is given, it does not suddenly appear. My Prayers and Love are with you, precious friend.
@@lvelez1999 you are insanely delusional.
Lisa Velez well ok..look into that same babies eyes that was born with three types of cancer and explain to me,and the babies parents for that matter,
what is YOUR god is "proving himself"
to be ? go away with your god nonsense you muppet.
Here in Brazil we do not see the constellation of Orion so "standing" we see it upside down but it is still very worth to appreciate this constellation. I'm using the keyboard translator
Sim sim, é verdade, acho também que fomos previlegiados em relação a posição que a constelação de Órion estava, mas acho que a poluição visual noturna não ajudou muito
There are many 3 hour video luckily i found this
I didn't think I was going to see any but then I went on a hay ride and saw my first one. Damn near cried lol
Even I cried when I saw my first one ....it's such a spectacular sight to see....I kinda ran down from my terrace calling like crazy for my mom and she got so scared thinking that something happened to me 🤣🤣😂😂
Well the meteor even got me scared😂😂🤣 don't know y....
Well I saw my first meteor during the ursids meteor shower....it was really unexpected like I just turned to the other side and there it goessss it was not even during the peak....
I was waiting for your video to catch a glimpse of the Orionids meteors and you came through!! Great work, even with the heavy cloud cover. I love the field of depth of the stars. Seeing the streaks of color always knocks my socks off. I subscribed to your channel.
Awesome sightings.!!
We also headed out last night but can sight only 3 to 4 due to clouds and foggy atmosphere.
This kind of clips where making me think like how does it feel to be a loving spirit in the night sky.
We were in a state park where all skies were open and no city lights and still didn't see it thanks for the video.
U need to use camera, even there is skies without light polution its doesnt gonna look the same as the video,Human eyes cant capture the light of the stars cuz its realllly farr
I'm always waiting for the blackout to see this beautiful moment lol
I live in the Caribbean and the power goes out 1hr before sunset once in a while
Went out last night to watch with my mom around midnight, we seen a couple really bright ones, and then only saw maybe one or 2 after, couldn't stay out long, wish I could've seen more :)
Geminids coming Dec 13. They were incredible last year. Maybe check them out.
Thanks for the heads up! I'll have my planetarium fired up just in case we're clouded out here, I'll still have to deal with light pollution though but my planetarium is set for meteor showers!
Thanks for sharing this. I've seen more in just 3 mins. Awesome!
I used to see these 'shooting stars' when i was a kid back in my hometown. Life there was simple and peaceful and people rests early at night, a good time watch moonlight and stargazing with fewer lights. I miss that. Now I'm adult, I'm here in the city and wanted to witness this phenomenon on Oct 22, but alas i was working nightshift and couldn't even bother to go outside for a glimpse. Maybe next time.
Please see again tonight
Very nice. Cloudy as usual over Sunny England. Off to watch your Perseid video :).
Thanks. Reminds me of the sky at camping in the mountain at night.
Thank you so much for uploading it
I was not able to see due to weather conditions
Thank you for your time and efforts. It was a great video.
It's So very Beautiful 😍 and the Music is perfect whit this video😍...Thank you so Much for sharing this...👌 More videos Please 💣
Thank you :)
Q excelente claridad allá en la baja sajonia Alemania, muchísimas estrellas y gran video!!
Gracias :) but there is also a lot of light pollution here.
Ok, but imagine here in México City!
Ok, yes, in such a big city, it has to be really difficult to see some meteors.
Great video. Thank you for sharing your colourful experience. Liked and subscribed! Amazing that you have clear sky in Germany!
Thank you very much :)
@@LindemannFilmFotoDrohne would you mind if I ask what camera you were using? It has very clear image, although I expected to see some ref colour from M42. Is it probable that in time lapse mode the images were overexposed?
For the real time recordings I used the Sony a7s,for the timelapses the Sony RX10 and GoPro. If you want to see some colours in the deep sky objects I think you need a star tracker or a astromodified camera.
Clouds sshut me down here in Calgary Alberta, nice to see the video. Looks like I didn't miss too much, but still would have liked to have gone out. I wish I had run video for last years geminids. They were awesome, about 1 every 2-3 minutes. After spending a couple of hours, I decided to leave and still caught a few in my truck side mirror. Cheers
Thank you as it is cloudy where I am!!!
@@hector.arun92 aww thanks 🤗
Go to www.stellarium.org and download version 8.2, then set your location as the default location. After that, set it to locate the radiant of each meteor shower. I saw three shoot out from the radiant at the same time during the Draconids last year, at which time 21P Giacobinni-Zinner was making a close approach to Earth, so that really stirred that one up!
The sky is impressiv I’m Berlin you could never see that like thi
Ikr light pollution is crazy
@Adrian Pena ikr, I live in the suburbs, but my Grandma lives in a rural area, and we always see the Milky Way
In my life time, I saw meteors in my own eyes about oer 300 times.. the best year in meteors in 1999 that I got them about 85 shootings in one night. smile
I saw so many different kinds of meteors. some of them long trip , some of them short trip .In 2004, I saw one meteor across whole sky over Seattle I said wow.. In 2016 I saw 4 explosions and very bright in one meteor toward to Seattle was very slow speed. I saw 4 comets in my life
I love this song. Perfect for this vid. Beautiful.
I have to hurt my neck seeing these falling stars for an hour and only got max 5 stars. Thankfully this video exists.
But I am still gonna watch em all everytime it happens!
Can u please put Sleeping At last Songs In all the meteor shower videos?I think sleeping at last’s songs would go perfectly with this kinda vid :,,) (west,Saturn,Uranus, mercury, touch, instead of myself, lunar eclipse all there are really good songs)
Btw who else thinks that they should use sleeping at last songs?
Awesome video ,Thanks for sharing. Clear skies
Wow! Is all that I can say... I've never seen meteors yet because I don't know where's the perfect spot to watch out for it... And this video is so Beautiful I love it!
I call them visitors from outer space...beautiful footage . Thanks
Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
I saw the Leonid meteor shower , though only I saw one of them and I wasn't even waiting for them, just looking at the moon
i saw few meteors before the moonrise and i saw few meteors, all of them were good and one of them was a weak fireball as bright as jupiter
I remember a similar event from 1999, I think it was a very big event in India. I don't remember much but I do remember bugging my dad to take us to see it and he did woke us up around 2 am. It was pitch black, a cold night and when we went to an open ground, "we saw few stars running away".😂
Meteor showers 11:40pm on 22/4/2020. I'm in the country of Lithgow Australia
Did anyone watch the meteor storm in 2014? Think it was in August. I spent a couple nights watching hundreds of them. It was amazing!
Thanks for sharing! Loved it!
I made many Wishes today.. im so Happy..
Beautiful...
That was amazing. What sort of camera did you use? Mine won't video the stars.
I use the Sony a7s
Beautiful showers! 😊 😍

I couldn't take a good shot this time. I'm waiting for the Geminids in December though, I hope I got better luck with them 🤷🏻♂️
Good luck and clear skies.

Thank you for sharing this video 👍
So pretty 😍
Wow! 💫
I only saw 2 or 3 meteors because the weather where I live was terrible those days.
I spent whole night gazing but could not see them. Perhaps, it was my bad luck. I wish for me some good lucks for next time. One day, I will wish...
Obrigado por postar.
holy Fuck. It's insane. I just saw 2 small shooting stars or so a few months ago, maybe i saw 5 in my lifetime.
Also i hope betelguese is going to explode in a few years in a supernova, it would be so craazzy.
Earth is really not the only object in the universe... quite the opposite. life is precious
because of false info i spend the evening from 6pm to 10pm watching the skies but after that many hours i still don`t spot any meteors so i went to sleep and by 12am i woke up and someone correct the info it will start between 12am to 3am in out country so many hours of waiting wasted so im glad to see this video
Its beautiful.
DAMN, I MISSED IT!
Toll..
I, too am interested in the showers. From London.

Where do they go after leaving back that little trail?
Some small particles make it to the ground. But most of them completely burn up in the atmosphere.
@@LindemannFilmFotoDrohne atmosphere of Earth?
@@NomanAhmed3 yes
@LindemannFilmFotoDrohne Do you use any specific wide-angle lenses for these captures?
I use the Sigma 20mm f1.4

Beautiful!
What music do you have playing???
Thank you. The music is from the RUclips library. Its Atlantis from Audionautix.
Here in Tokyo you can’t see anything except for white noise like ambience.
It sucked thanks for the video
Amazing video. What Song is this?

Yes, it´s always a pleasure to watch. Try to watch the geminids meteor shower in december. It´s one of the strongest meteor showers. It´s peak is around 14th december.
@@LindemannFilmFotoDrohne that sounds cool 😋😊

I can see pleiades my fave star cluster
0:29 is that andromeda on the top???
That is right.
Where?
I always see them when I least expect them
2:17 What a Big Meteorit 😂😂😂
:D
Kkkkkkkkkkkk
Imagine the cause of the meteors is from a far solar system being broken apart from its star
Actually why these Meteors happen and what actually happening up there... Little info regarding this plz
Millions of meteors occur in Earth's atmosphere daily. Most meteoroids that cause meteors are about the size of a grain of sand, i.e. they are usually millimeter-sized or smaller. [...] Meteors may occur in showers, which arise when Earth passes through a stream of debris left by a comet, or as "random" or "sporadic" meteors, not associated with a specific stream of space debris. (wikipedia)
1:08 I saw a meteor at last
Yall are lucky
What if those are ships coming out of hyperspace. The Egyptian believe heavily on Orion's belt.
@Scott Johnstone rocks is such an exaggerated term. Grains of dust is more like it
It's too bright in my area too see something... I fcking hate ppl and companies doing their business at night :(
Man...the Pleiades are absolutely gorgeous in this footage.
On an unrelated note, what are those stars that look like Orion’s dong? I’ve never seen those before, at least not in such detail...probably because I live in the city
Maybe you mean the constellation Lepus (rabbit). It is located below Orion.
LindemannFilmFotoDrohne
Could be? I’ll look it up...see what’s doin
EDIT: ahhhh, I see. It’s m42, m43 and a couple stars...Orion’s sword. M42, the closest region of massive star formation, located in Orion and I didn’t know about it....aye aye aye
It was very clear where I was but I went to sleep
What is the bortle scale for that location?
I would say class 4.
What is constelation in 1:21..in most upper corner of screen?
That would have to be constellation Taurus. To the left of Pleiades.
@@LindemannFilmFotoDrohne Thank you sir for your answer, now I know!
It was cloudy by us
Whis and beerus?
was there 18 ?
Em qual país ou região foram feitas essas imagens ???
This was filmed in northwest Germany (Sulingen, lower saxony)
LindemannFilmFotoDrohne obrigado por responder... Boa noite.. Saudações do Brasil..
Why in the 2:15 minute, hand covers the camera... Who?
that was my hand. the lens fogged up and I wiped it with a cloth.
saw a meteor early Saturday morning maybe sunday morning while walking my dog it was around 02:00 or 03:30 dark and hardly if any moon light, all of a sudden the night sky lit up I looked up saw the mountains behind the meteor, it turned into a bright blue flash followed by a very steady orange glow, then I saw the smoke trails and it spit into 2 trails. then a slight sonic boom broke the silence anyways pretty amazing stuff.
Are they visible in tropical countries?
Yes, the Orionids ars visible worldwide.
Ohhhh yeah i saw orion
what camera did you use?
Sony a7s
