      Miv Plays Videogames How hilarious is that though? Rusev is an evil Russian coming out with a tank and John CEna is the all-American hero, getting this huge video package to make him seem like the greatest American hero of all-time......and yet we cheer on the Russian guy????

      Jared Doucet Yeah my thoughts exactly, not even fighting for america can get Cena cheered, apparently people there said there was a "let's go Russia" chant at one point

      popetaytv It was unfortunately pretty obvious, Randy had just taken a curb stomp about 60 seconds beforehand and was in a completely different body posture for the second one, Hands on thighs to give his upper body the strength to provide the platform for Rollins to jump off of into the air. Still a hell of a move but i didn't get quite the surprise out of it as i could see it coming several seconds before it happened.

    They did Sting dirty. Vince, Triple H and Shawn Michaels are a bunch of grimy dudes, man. I'm done with wrestling. I slowly got back into it recently....even went to Smackdown earlier this month in D.C., got my hopes up only to get crushed. This man is right....Vince can't let it go. He bought out the company and still is salty that they beat him 80+ weeks in a row.
    I wish Sting never came to the WWE. He should had watched his interview of why he didn't go to the WWE back in 2001 before actually going there. They clowned him like Booker T.
    I disagree with DX and nWo being involved. I wanted a one-on-one match. They weren't needed at all. We all know that they're all best friends outside the ring...except Hogan. It was pointless. Rant over because it's Tuesday and I'm still heated that Sting lost.

    I don't WWE that much anymore but when I heard people telling me WrestleMania was a surprisingly good show, I had to see it. I streamed the show for free on my laptop because I don't pay a dime for this company and it was disappointed.The show wasn't that great. The main event, Seth Rollins cashing in and the RKO spot by Randy Orton were probably the only good highlights about this show for me at least. What an overrated ass WrestleMania this was. And people say this show was great.

    • @RedWolf316sega
      @RedWolf316sega 9 лет назад +3

      The standards of wrestling fans have dropped really low over the years that they are willing to enjoy anything mediocre because of how shitty wrestling has become. Yes, WWE is so shitty right now that they are willing to say this was great when it was just ok. WrestleMania was a ok not great but ok.

    • @thereelheel4084
      @thereelheel4084 9 лет назад +1

      I thought I was the only person that thought this show was overrated. It wasn't a bad show but a little better than what I expect it to be.

    • @GILLZONE47
      @GILLZONE47 9 лет назад

      I know it was overrated because that's what wrestling fans do now. Overrate shit. I mean how the fuck is Brock Lesnar doing 16 suplexes to Cena in a match so amazing? Fuck these boring ass wrestling fans. Then you got the morons acting like Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler doing fake headbutts was epic.

    • @TheGochiMan
      @TheGochiMan 9 лет назад

      I've seen way better ladder matches than the one we got this past WrestleMania. Just cause something involves Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose doesn't make it great.

    • @rebeccaolsen5308
      @rebeccaolsen5308 9 лет назад +2

      WrestleMania 3, 10, 14, 17, and 19 were much better WrestleMania's than this. People probably thought the show was great because of the Main Event. I could almost guarantee you that if Roman Reigns won the WWE title, people would be shitting all over this show calling it shitty, bad, or one of the worst WrestleManias ever. That's the nature of these IWC losers.

  • @BestintheWorld247
    @BestintheWorld247 9 лет назад +8

    This Wrestlemania to mr while better than I expected it wasn't all that great in my opinion.
    1. The IC Title Ladder match was solid but I expected a lot more. The right man won but I feel bad for Ambrose. Here's a guy that's very over with fans and he originally started this whole feud but he doesn't gets the chance to win at PPV again. It's sad what they've been doing with Ambrose because of him outselling Cena with merchandise.
    2. Orton vs Rollins
    Decent Match but it could've been way better but at least the right guy won with that amazing RKO.
    3. Sting vs Triple H
    Definitely the match of the night but the ending was stupid. Once again Vince can't let things go with WCW can he. The Invasion Angle, Booker T not winning at Wrestlemania after all of that momentum that was given to him, and now this. Please Vince grow the hell up you won and you're beating a dead horse now.
    4. Divas Match
    Skip
    5. Rusev vs Cena
    From now on anything that involves with Cena I literally skip because it's the same old boring crap and surprise he wins again.
    6. Undertake vs Wyatt
    This was better than Lesnar but that's not saying a lot because this match .... I don't know how to feel about this like every one said this match was to little too late.
    7. Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns
    I really enjoyed this match it was the perfect Lesnar bad a** beat down but Reigns still delivered his own slugfest and thankfully Rollins cashed in pinning Reigns winning the belt. But what really bothers me is the ICW still criticizing Reigns still saying how much they hate Reigns and he's worse than Cena. What does Reigns has to do to prove himself? During his road to Wrestlemania he lost to the Big Show, he somewhat improved with his wrestling skills, and top it off he put Rollins over twice a few weeks ago on raw then at this years Wrestlemania for the World Title. Come on guys give him a break he could've been Cena and not put Rollins then later Rollins becomes a stunt double for someone oh yeah just like Sandow. But this was really good right guy won and it was a nice way to end Wrestlemania.
    Overall this show was enjoyable but wasn't really anything memorable accept maybe Bryan winning, Sting vs HHH , and Rollins Winning.
    Grade : B-

    Disagree with a lot of things you are saying. I re-watched the show and the first two matches were a lot better than I thought. No way were they mediocre. The only thing I majorly did not like was Sting losing but I got over that quite quickly. Rusev vs John Cena match I also was not keen on. Everything else I thought was really good to great.

    • @southnewton1
      @southnewton1 9 лет назад +3

      I thought Undertaker/Wyatt was great (especially since Wyatt was injured earlier on in the night) and both looked great. I honestly think you were determined to say this show was forgettable no matter what.

      Yeah well we can't all be WWE apologists can we? seriously does Vince pay you guys or do you just think trying to make crap sound good that it somehow makes you a better fan? How exactly was the ladder match anthing more than mediocre? how has this ladder match any different than say a SD! MITB ladder match at a MITB PPV back when the brands were split? For all the hype you guys gave this to this prior and how it was going to be some amazing spot fest it really underdelivered.

    From Wikipedia:
    The event received acclaim from fans and critics alike. John Powell of Canadian Online Explorer gave the event a perfect 10 out of 10 star rating, calling it "the best Mania ever", with the main event between Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins rated 8.5 stars out of 10. Sting vs Triple H received the highest rating, 9 stars, and Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt got 8 stars.[43]
    Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter described the event as "one of the best shows I've ever seen. Several great matches, a killer angle and very little that wasn't good". He also praised the involvement of Ronda Rousey.[44]
    Chris Graham of the Augusta Free Press also called the event the "Best. WrestleMania. Of. All. Time." He praised the ending of the main event, calling it "unpredictable", and said, "Helluva show. For a night, wrestling was unpredictably fun again."[45]
    Jack De Menezes of The Independent said, "It will go down as one of, if not the greatest WrestleMania of all time. From NWO's reunion, to The Rock teaming up with Ronda Rousey and Randy Orton's incredible 'RKO outta nowhere', nearly every match delivered a spectacle fitting of the Grandest Stage of Them All".

    I'm probably one of the few who felt WM31 was better than WM30, because in my opinion, there was just more match intrigue. Me being a huge Sting fan also helped, and while it sucks he lost when I'm definitely not the only one who thinks the wrong guy went over, it was still great to FINALLY see Sting wrestle in a WWE ring at the biggest stage. You could tell during that match and the build up to it that Sting was just so into it. I don't think he's done just yet. I'd like to think WWE is not THAT stupid to end Sting's legacy with that ridiculous segment on the Network with Bo after Raw last night. I think Sting has 2 more left in him. One match at either SummerSlam or Survivor Series and he'll hang up after Wrestlemania 32 next year.

    i disagree. I think this mania was highly enternaining. Definitely the best WM since 20. There's always gonna be flaws. I'm sure its not easy running a live show as big as wrestlemania! You made some good points in this video, but the stuff u were pointing out wasnt as bad as you're making it seem. Me and everyone i know enjoyed it. In some matches, the wrong guy might've won but it was still entertaining

      I love wm20 partly due to I was there but it felt like a super show on paper. It had 11 or 12 matches and all of them I thought were ok to great to awesome. Taker/Kane wasn't about the match but the bigger story of takers return to the deadman gimmick. Goldberg and lesnar in person was ok and ill probably be stuck with the memory seeing it live and Remembering it as ok. Wm 20 is my favorite mania.

  • @KilleyBen

    I've honestly grown a hatred for Wrestlemania being in outdoor arenas... It just seems to hurt the event in every aspect - espeically this year. Comparing the atmosphere and feel to last years Wrestlemania, this was awful. Aside from the obvious down grading of entrances and the visuals on the broadcast. The sound of the crowd reactions seemed so quiet as well, which does hurt the overall feel of the show in my opinion. I don't know, could just be me but in indoor arenas (especially at Wrestlemania), the crowd sound so much louder and energetic. It hurt it a lot for me...

    • @victorwilliams2876
      @victorwilliams2876 9 лет назад +2

      I agree I understand the reason for having wrestlemania outside because you can have more fans but the crowd noise and atmosphere suffers completely,when you watch the crowd you can see react and pop but the noise is so quiet.

  • @pikapikapitiful

    Wm 31 surprised me. It was pretty fun to watch. This sadly may have been becuz my expectations were so low tho. Sting losing was a slap in the face especially since he shakes hhh hand then hhh comes out later to talk about how he defeated sting and gloats about it. And wwe trys to say the handshake was respectful? No it was spitting in the face of wcw nwo and sting. But it still didn't make me mad enough to not enjoy the match. Main event was awesome.. tho i feel bad for Reigns that the stupid fans dislike him for no good reason. The opening match sucked, orton match should have lasted a little longer and would have been better if Bray beat Taker. But even with all my booking complaints the show still felt good. I hoped cena would win but not in a bull crap way... couldnt have John cena just straight up won without the failed distraction? But the best part of the night was Rock and Rousey. They could have made a mixed tag match last the rest of the night and it would have been awesome. Schlegdaddy says the most memorable best part was the main event I disagree. Rock and Rousey was the best moment of the night mostly due to Steph promo and triple h over selling the rock punches. A moment that I will always remember and probably re watch countless times.

    Thank you Jeff, finally a reviewer that acknowledged the damn sun. I personally wouldn't be hurt by never having another wrestlemania in Cali because it irritated the living hell out of me. & I believe the only reason taker and Wyatt's match was second to last Is because they were waiting for the sun to go down. Also the what added to the Big Match feel of reigns vs lesnar was that the sun had actually finally Fuckn gone down

  • @GenX6887
    @GenX6887 9 лет назад +1

    I like it that there was still daylight for most of this Wrestlemania! Cause you were constantly reminded that the show was still outside and it felt like a big deal! When it gets dark in an outdoor stadium on the East Coast, it's easy to forget that Wrestlemania is still outside.

    I'm not a mark by any stretch of the imagination and there are a lot of match finishes over the years I've despised, but HHH vs Sting was the only time I felt WWE should have been reprimanded for a Wrestling finish; it was that insulting
    In other news, let me make one thing clear: John Cena can't lose at a Wrestlemania. It's the one time of the year Vince gets to lock himself in his office, drop trout, and yank his shank, so of course Cena didn't lose or even come off like he was struggling; that would have killed the mood.

    Called the Rollins cashing in on a beat up Reigns and Lesnar right after the Rumble. Didn't expect the triple threat part, thinking it would be after the pin, but I knew it would end with Rollins holding the belt.
    Also got Bryan, Orton, Divas, Taker and Cena results right, making it a good nights predictions.
    The Sting result was the one that shocked me. Made no sense to bring him in just for this to happen. He and Taker retirement match next year.

  • @Biffo316

    Apart from Sting/Triple h there was no story behind the matches. Bray Wyatt and undertaker was dumb but an ok match. Reigns and lesnar was very physical and I loved it and Rollins cashing in was perfectly timed. The rest of the card was very very forgettable. 1 spot stands out and that's Ambrose going through the ladder.....1 spot. Apart from the matches I mentioned thats not enough. Guys should be crawling over nails to kick ass here

  • @MrRubenPrime
    @MrRubenPrime 9 лет назад +4

    Having your favorite guys winning a match or a title doesn't change the fact that the build up to this mania was so poor. Also to the people that are bitching about the review are too dumb to understand the little details because they got such a heart on for the guys that do the flips and kicks. It's okay to like whoever you like, however, you'll can't let that blind you from the fact that they were so many things wrong with this wrestlemania. This would had been okay if it was on a fastlane but this IS wrestlemania. The biggest show of the year, not some 3rd tier ppv. But, then again, nowadays people will put up with mediocrity :/

    many great points. Still glad Taker got a re-set for 32 and the end with Sting. Really enjoyed the Main event but saw the finish a mile off after Rollins lost. Hated Sting losing and knew it would happen as soon as HBK got involved. Even Hogan could see it was a bad call cos even he had no limelight to get involved in.

  • @Sacrilege83
    @Sacrilege83 9 лет назад +1

    -IC Ladder match was a good midcard PPV match
    -Orton vs Rollins, a good RAW main eventer with a SPECTACULAR RKO finish
    -Sting vs Triple H, good match PPV worthy, surprised Sting wasn't put over but Triple H didn't win cleanly (that protects Sting). Wonder now if Sting will be set up with a good '15 -'16 year heading into WM32 hopefully against Undertaker. Sting given a dominating year ending with a loss to Taker, both retire.
    -Divas match, agree it's forgettable unfortunately. They deserve better.
    -Loved the Rusev vs Cena match. Great Rusev entrance.
    -Hated The Rock/Steph/HHH/Rousey segment. Rousey is cool, would of liked to see a proper arm bar dished out. I understand Rock is popular, love him but the four of them standing around in the center of the ring listening to the fans scream in an open stadium that doesn't resonate the sound well to tv for about 8 minutes was pretty lousy. I found myself saying get on with it already! Cut the fans off and move it along.
    -Taker vs Wyatt was forgettable. Wyatt couldn't sell this match alone on RAW and Smackdown, felt like an empty challenge for Taker, no more streak aura to back it. Glad he won, but where's the Mania entrance for Taker?
    -Loved the main event with a shock ending, perfect. Happened the way it needed to happen and totally agree 100% with the reviewer. The pyro were well done for the entrances (no, none were over the top with scarecrows, drums, terminators, and a tank, but still good mania pyro entrances) and ending celebration pyro as well.
    What will be memorable about this Mania for me is Sting ring debut, RKO finish, Lesnar giving Reigns a beat down, Rollins money in the bank cash in. I found the reviewer to be hating a little too much than being objective, he came in watching mania with an already predetermined mind set it seems, but I get most of the points that he was making.

    Sorry Jeff but I can't actually agree with you for once. I'm honestly cool with Big Show winning the BR. I do agree that this match could've went other ways, it wouldve catapulted Ryback's momentum going forward, and would've offered that big win for Damien Sandow that he damn well needs, that was also my pick from the beginning. But at the end of the day, this type of match was set up for Big Show and quite honestly he should've won last year but he put over the young talent so I guess its ok.. But Im also sure Damien Sandow was cool with having Big Show toss him out at the end, it provided a good little scuffle and at one point had me thinking Sandow was going to get him over the rope but at the end the Giant tossed him out. I enjoyed it but that was me.

I'm pretty much in the minority, clearly some individuals are tying to save face with WWE protecting their huge egos/lost direction. Vince, like his daughter still won't let the past be smh. Thank you for being the only guy that I can say I agree with almost 100% I keep telling people that entertaining matches don't make up for bad booking. You can't say an event was the absolute best when people who shouldn't go over actually do. Who's gonna get a well needed rub after beating Rusev now. Cena has taken away the only thing other the guy's actual talent that made him look special. It could have made someone fresh look special too if that guy had been the first to beat him. Now that I think about this that match seemed like a sort of homage to Hogan vs Sheik. All of the other booking decisions were even worse. I'm not gonna go into why Sting losing was bad idea because already covered that for me in glorious fashion. Needless to say the only moment that almost made up for all that bad booking was Lesnar finally losing the belt. Maybe after Extreme Rules we can finally wake up from the nightmare that has been Brock Lesnars part time title reign.

    In my opinion, the whole nWo and DX part of the sting hhh match was so unnecessary. I think people are letting nostalgia blind them. I thought Nash and hhh were friends! Btw, did anyone see that production guy get in the way of the camera during takers entrance??!!

    My thoughts on Wrestlemania 31,it was average/decent. Probably on the same level as 23 or 26.
    •ROLLINS WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP! FUCK YEAH!
    •I don't get all the praise for the main event. It was just Lesnar demolishing Reigns senselessly,Reigns makes a comeback,then Rollins cashes in and wins the belt.
    •Sting losing to Triple H was beyond ridiculous,still mad about that. It was a fun,dramatic match but full of interferences, Felt more like a segment than and the actual match
    •Seth Rollins vs Randy Orton was match of the night,still only 3.5/5
    •Bray Wyatt should have beat Undertaker,Wyatt loses again at Mania and Taker gains nothing.
    •Highly enjoyed the Rock/Rousey vs HHH/Steph segment,it was fun
    •The ladder match was decent but I expected more,happy Bryan won.

    Honestly the best mania in years I know last year was good but honestly I think this years was better. Bryan getting the IC title in a solid opening Ladder match, Rollins & Orton was good with a one of the if not the sickest RKO's ever at the end. HHH and Sting was cool with the DX & NWO stuff it's lame that HHH won but ehh what are you gonna do Sting signed up for it and didn't seem to have a problem with taking a Loss so I don't think anyone else should be salty about it. The Divas match was alright but at least the right divas won, Cena and Rusev was cool and Cena getting the US title is pretty awesome now because him and Bryan are gonna bring much needed prestige back to the 2nd tier titles, Taker and Wyatt was solid even tho I wished Wyatt went over cause it would of done so much for his career but it was awesome to see Taker back and looking healhty and the main event stole the show imo We all thought Brock was winning then we thought Roman was winning then we thought Brock was gonna win But when Rollins music hit and he sprinted down I marked the F out!!! Best WrestleMania in awhile possibly ever tbh

    Well talk about a difference of opinion, this is one of my personal favorite WM in quite some time. Great matches and moments, I felt this show delivered in the best possible way. I feel like Mr. S-Daddy has some bias against current day WWE. Some of that is justified because WWE has done some stupid things that would make anyone who has common sense shake their head. However, every time something good happens he always dampens it by trying to compare it to some unachievable standard from the past. He spent like the first 11-14 min. of the video complaining about the lighting and entrances, which I thought were fine. I liked the outdoor venue, it made WM feel different from the rest of the ppvs. Talking about the IC ladder match being mediocre, well what the hell did you want from the match? If the match was flat out spot-fest city, he would have complained about it being too much of a spot-fest without a story. The ladder match was a great way to open the show. Orton and Rollins was flipping awesome, with one of the best finishes to a match I've ever seen. Sting vs. HHH was great. I personally feel that HHH winning was the best decision in the first place, unless Sting is about to main event ppvs for the next 2-3 years(which he's not). Sting is going to wrestle one or two matches anyway, who cares whether or not he loses. LOL Rusev isn't buried, and lost his streak in the best possible way he could. If you are a Rusev fan, he was going to lose at some point anyway, wouldn't you want him to lose at WM against the top guy in the company? I bet Rusev's bank account after that match isn't buried. A loss against Cena at WM > some dumb feud against a mid-carder that WWE doesn't cares about. Wyatt/Taker was fine, no one expected a five-star classic from this. It was basically Taker's redemption, probably setting up some retirement match for next year. The main event was great, I didn't mean for my post to be some mini-review, but I really enjoyed this show. Sometimes it is okay not to be a critic.

    Overall the build to this year's wrestlemania was pretty poor in the most part. However l, sometimes as schlegdaddy has previously the build up can be poor but the match itself can be great. The matches for wrestlemania 31 were all generally wrestlemania high standard they all delivered, but some of the finishes were questionable especially the Triple h win. However I really hoped for Seth to cash in and win and that's what I got. So I'm happy with that cos it was the main event the most important thing of wrestlemania. Score of wm 31 7.5/10

    Oh and to all you Lesnar marks, you complain about Cena's 4 moves of doom but you are prefectly ok with Lesnars 2 moves of doom even to the point where you even chant for one of the moves. Oh but Lesnar is a 'bad ass' and that impresses you some reason, oh please.

    • @Sacrilege83

      You got to admit though; that close-line straight through hell and down to the abyss into oblivion was pretty unreal delivered by Lesnar to Reigns who was on the apron.

    • @crater044
      @crater044 9 лет назад +1

      craigh257 Considering the fact that Lesnar is a legitimate bad ass and not an artificial wannabe bad ass like Cena.....that is very impressive. Plus, every wrestler has an assorted amount of moves in their repertoire.....Austin, Hogan, HBK, Flair, Steamboat, Jericho, Benoit, Angle.....all of them. I hate the whole "5 Moves of Doom" thing myself since it started out as a joke by Scott Keith towards......Bret Hart!! Plus......the suplexes are used for a reason. He doesn't just hit one kind of suplex.....he hits multiple variations of suplexes that does damage to the neck. Cena has more than 4 moves as well......that sequence is just to set up his finisher. I understand your point but Cena only wishes he is as popular and beloved as Brock.

    • @craigh257
      @craigh257 9 лет назад

      Jared Doucet
      Legitimate bad ass? please tell why I should care about this on WWE TV exactly? Do you judge say an action movie star by how legitimately bad ass they are or do you judge them on their acting skills? please tell how someone like say Rusev or Roman Reigns can't do what Lesnar is doing right now if they were booked that way? plus the fact that they will actually show up every week. Plus I need more from wretlers than just how 'bad ass' they are because I am not that easily pleased. I know every wretler has an assorted amount of moves, I was just making the point that the Lesnar marks seem to hate Cena and one of the resons is his 4 moves of doom. Saying that guys like Austin, Flair and HBK and even Cena now have a pretty diverse moveset, can you say the same for Brock?

    • @crater044
      @crater044 9 лет назад

      craigh257 Because its wrestling......the guy is legitimately a force of nature. You know the guy can kick your ass inside the ring and out. Jason Statham is a legit badass.....hence people like some of his films. Bruce Lee was legit. Being presented as a bad ass without legitimacy is tough......people buy into that more if they are legit. Plus, brock is a monster, a force of nature. He is like the Terminator.....his only mission is descruction......thats a great character to have

    For me WrestleMania 31 ended after Sting Vs HHH. Look what they had after, The Bella Twins Vs Paige and AJ; John Cena Vs Rusev; Undertaker Vs Bray Wyatt; Brock Lesnar Vs Reigns. I care about Undertaker and Bray Wyatt but it was a generic Undertaker match and Brock Lesnar Vs Reigns was mostly suplexes and punches with Reigns getting beat down the whole time. The only thing good about the main event was when Rollins cashed in the money in the bank at the end and won the title. The other two matches I didn't care about at all. So, to me WrestleMania 31 was the Fatal Four Way Tag Match, The Battle Royal, I.C. Title Ladder Match, Randy Orton Vs. Rollins, and Sting Vs HHH. The rest is whatever. Also, THANK YOU SHALEGDADDY FOR SAYING WHAT YOU TRUELY THINK. I DON'T ALWAYS AGREE WITH YOU BUT YOU TELL IT LIKE YOU SEE IT AND I DEFENETLY AGREE WITH YOU ON THIS SHOW.

    Some things were cool about Wrestlemania 31 , some were forgettable . I watched it and I knew what will happen . I knew that Bryan,Cena , AJ and Paige will win , but I didn't expect that Sting vs HHH will be so stupid and that Rollins will cash in. HHH vs Sting was meant to be a feud about the heated rivalry between two legends and they treated it like a segment from Retro Raw . Returns of NWO and DX were cool , but they almost were comical at some part . And Sting breaking HHH's sledgehammer in half like pretzel was shit of shits . Ending was also the thing that made that match even worse . And HHH to have a handshake with Sting and then rips him off in that Rock/Rousey segment . That was the most idiotic thing that they could do with that feud .

    I'm amazed at how much praise this show is getting. Sure it wasn't the big pile of shit most of us thought it would be, but was it really that awesome? The only really good match was the main event. The Sting/HHH match was a clusterfuck with a godawful ending (fuck Vince and HHH for that hot garbage), the other 5 matches were boring outside of a few cool moments (Ambrose getting powerbombed through the ladder, the insane RKO on Rollins, Taker sitting up while Wyatt was doing the spider walk), the ridiculously long Rock promo was filler of the highest degree, and the less I speak about the "musical performance" the better. Doesn't help when people like Meltzer say this is one of the best PPVs ever, which is going to brainwash people into thinking the show was better than it really was. It definitely wasn't as bad as more recent shows like 27 or 29, but in no way do I see it as an all time great WrestleMania.

    I actually watched the whole hour. I agree with everything. However the segment with The Rock was corny as hell and that could have been taken out for more time with the Divas and Pre show matches.
    The Lighting is a very good point. Some say it doesn't matter and it's nit picking, but it really made a difference to the show in a bad way. Bray Wyatt's entrance was just bad. Normally when he comes out you see the lamp and all the phones waving in the air. Undertakers entrance didn't have the normal feel as it was so light. You could even see the wrestlers squinting at times in their matches.
    The ladder match was good, but the headbutting thing made it look so unrealistic. You clearly saw they weren't connecting and it didn't climax enough.
    Greatest match was Roman and Brock. They really connected with each other and told a story. I hate how Sting lost and I was rooting for Rusev, but that loss literally buried the guy IMO.
    Mania wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. Last year was much much better.

    It was... ok.
    The 4-way Tag-Title match was the best thing they had and it wasn't even on the main show. Everything else after that was just less.
    The Andre battle royal was boring. It was badly booked and mostly just a lot of "blah".
    The Divas match was nothing special. It felt like a Raw match and had no consequence as it wasn't even for the title. The ladies did well, but they were booked mediocre as filler.
    DBD winning a sissy-belt... meh
    Cena winning a sissy-belt... meh
    Rolling vs. Orton was just filler trying to make people think that Rollins was gone for the night.
    The Sting vs. HHH match was a stinker. As soon as they had Sting come out first I knew that they weren't going to push him. Then it turned into the run-in fest of the decade and legend after legend was wasted showing up for this stinker. Holy hell was it BAD!
    Taker vs. Wyatt was... not really good. And unless they let Wyatt get a win back at 32 then I call bullshit on the result of this.
    The main event was a repeat of any recent Lesnar title match with a mediocre ending. Meh. Whatever.
    All in all... sooooo mediocre.

    in the history of ladder matches in wwe, the person or persons who do the least usually win. i think the logic is, they didnt suffer that much damage. thus they should be healthy enough to climb and retrieve the belt/case.

    i have to disagree with mizdow having to win the battle royal as a badge to launch his career. thats for the royal rumble. being that this is only the second and the first turn out was a complete and epic failure with cesaro, i would admit that he was better off putting up a good fight to win than to win it. he still got some climbing to do. the pay off to me was him standing his grown finally to the miz. winning the battle royal would have been to much of a blown wad and it would have been overshadowed by his continued feud with the miz. that battle royal doesnt gain you nothing but bragging rights and a trophy impossible to carry around. not a shot at the title or a boost to the top of the card and thats why i feel the big show and dow getting elimied by show was ideal. add a shot at a title and i would feel differently.

    The matches weren't necessarily Wrestlemania worthy and marginal ppv worthy. The only reason you could consider this show not a bad one is because of the NWO/DX stuff and Ronda beating the crap out of the Authority. Otherwise this shit would have honestly been boring.

    Besides the fact that it was in the west coast and sting, Wyatt and taker couldn't do teal entrances this show was the shit was top to bottom. Not sure why they had so few matches on the main card tho. But it had Twp nice elements of surprise in it and you can even argue it was better then WM30

    Usually I think you're negative for the sake of being negative and like to have a somewhat hipster point of view. However not this time. I agree 110%
    While this show was good and probably a 6/10, It is by no means ''One of the greatest of all time''. I've heard of short term memory from wrestling fans but holy shit this is ridiculous. I even see people saying that this is the greatest wrestlemania ever and that it was close to perfect. What in the fuck?
    I mean sure, the first pre show match was great, the ladder match was ok, Seth vs Orton was pretty good, the main event was a great match that shocked me and the ending was one of the greatest wrestlemania endings to happen.
    But that being said, everything else was either so-so or just bad. Sting Vs Triple H was an overbooked, TNAesqe clusterfuck that relied on nothing but nostalgia and nostalgia alone. Sorry but that's not gonna work on me. The divas match bored me out of my skull, the ronda rousey segment consisted of 75% of awkward staring and doing nothing, Cena Vs Rusev was predictable from the very beginning so I did not give it a a chance and Taker vs Wyatt was so-so and anticlimatic.
    I don't see what the fuck was suppose to be so amazing about this show. Again, it's not a bad wrestlemania, but the greatest of all time? Seriously? I know it exceeded expectations but guess what? So did Star Wars Episode 3. Guess that makes it the greatest star wars of all time? What a load of bollocks.

    I completely agree this wrestlemania was not good. Specially the booking of the Sting vs Triple H match, it pissed me off.

    Plus it was to predictable that sting would win so I was happy with a swerve

    You are definitely the most realistic reviewer thus far , this show was awful , and only because of Daniel Bryan and the spot fest that it was , people actually believe it was good

      Daniel Bryan did absolutely nothing in that ladder match...........Hell most of the other matches on the show were better than that ladder match

      wwetnaful I agree , I understand he's probably still recovering from his surgery and stuff but he's as plain as Cena , I don't understand why he's praised so much ... and haha by the way he totally no selled ziggler with the headbutts at the end of the ladder match
