Didn’t know there was dry bak kut teh til now! Definitely want to try that one
The dry bak kut teh is something invented in Klang, not original bak kut teh, but a good pair with the soup based in my opinion! I think the dry bak kut teh started like 15 years ago and it has been a popular dish here in Malaysia!
Wow! Everything Looks so delicious! Thanks for sharing my friend! Happy Thursday! Stay connected 🙂
Thank you so much for watching. Hope to see you around in our future videos too 😄♥️
Nice ! I've seen that in other videos but I never knew where it came from, now I know. (talking about the rinsing of the cups and utensils)
Oh haha thanks for making it clear at the end 😆 we have no idea where that idea came from, but it is common in middle range Chinese restaurants!
Morning time it is!
Thank you guys
LOVE how You edited this video
Aww thanks guys! Yes it is morniiiiiiiiiiing!!!!
Pork, mushrooms, broth... Sounds like perfection to me
Good for a cold day, if only we have winter here! But it's still good in this summer heat 😆
*Another great upload loves, thanks so much for sharing! Great dishes. Thanks for taking us on a journey! Have a great weekend and keep in touch!*
So cool to learn that Klang may have been the birthplace of bak kut teh in Malaysia!
It MAY have, but not proven 😋 but definitely you can find a lot of bak kut teh stalls here!
O my gosh never had a bak ku teh like that before 🤤 can we go here please bak ku teh is my favourite (Peter) looks amazing with the hock 😯 what! Dry bak ku teh with cuttlefish??? Mind blown never seen that before 😯 this is awesome spot can't wait to go kl hahaha
Yes let's have Bak Kut Teh!! Yea I think the dry one is something they invented here in Klang 😆 it's quite popular here.
Hey guys! Your B-roll is getting better and better. We have a similar soup in the Caribbean but with no tea. Just different types of pork. That pork looks like is falling apart, yum! That is a good looking broth too. We could just drink that. Love that it comes with rice. The caramelized version also looks quite good. Yes, add crunchies to the rice!
Thanks guys!! Wow we have to try that Caribbean pork soup. Sounds really interesting 🤩 Haha crunchies are the best 😋
Another great video! Miss you guys 😘
OMG look so good! Wondeful video 👍🏻
Like the idea of 1.5 portions too!
When one is not enough, and two is too many 😋
Yess rice with kecap manis ABC is the best 🙌🏻
I love kecap manis dishes!
YUM! I love the soup base over the dry version. The pork feet look so rich and melt in your mouth tender. It's so cool that you can have unlimited refill on the broth. Funny that you can order 1.5 portion, that's crazy. We need to make a trip back there soon! Thanks for the yummy experience! You guys are adorable! 👍LIKE #34
We cannot go without the soup one either. It literally defines bak kut teh 😍 The portions can go in halves because they're very generous with their ingredients. Thanks for stopping by 🤩♥️
Another early start! lol Oooooooo bak kut teh is so good! I love that you can have so many good dishes first thing in the morning!
Haha an extremely heavy breakfast but very nice on a cool morning 😋🤤
Adding the condiments to the white rice really makes the rice very appetizing!
Locals love putting in those condiments, didn't know until I ate with my local Klang friends!
Oh my! Those pork bellies! Those soup! I find them when I eat them it gives you extra energy. Especially during the winter season and if you got a cold! Such a nice comfort food! Thanks guys! 🥰👍🏼❤️😊😘
It must have been a comforting food in winter! Too bad we only have summer all year round here!
Making me hungry. Everything looks delicious.
that is so nice, if we both of us eating, we always order the dry and soup one.
but usually i prefer the soup
If I have to choose one, I would still go for the soup based too! The OG bak kut teh!
Bak kut teh. Never tried. Looks good! The presentation of the food here is so good. So colorful. Like the bowl too!
Thanks guys! Hope you'll get to try it one day! This dish can be quite subjective, some might not be used to its herbal broth.
you guys are so authentic...love your channel. I was in Malaysia last year, would like to go back when traveling opens up. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for your kind compliment! We do hope everything goes back to normal soon too. Can't wait to travel again
Can’t go wrong with free refills. Haven’t intestines since I was a kid when my parents would trick me. Now that’s a super duper rice cooker. Never had that black sauce though. Those are huge portions.
We love em free refills!
Yay Bak Kut Teh! it's nice when we could get some options of the pork meat, we definitely choose the pork ribs! enoki mushroom is our FAV! we love mushrooms :)
Definitely mushrooms is a good add on! Pork ribs is a excellent choice!
Like,looks delicious my friend, thanks.
Thanks @Marisa Chok 😄♥️
just googled Klang City, it's around 50mins drive from KL, not that bad and could experience the home of Bak Kut Teh! and when Puri and Sue said one of the best Bak Kut Teh, we're IN!
50 minutes drive eh 🤔 I think without traffic jam it would be around 30-40 minutes. Based on Google review it is also one of the best! 😄👍
I've had Bak Kut Teh! 😆 the soup one. It was so delicious. I love it👍
You make me hungry😭

That's awesome! If I'm living abroad, I would buy to satisfy my cravings too! Thanks for watching!
Hey Puri and Sue!!! We have never seen, nor tried any of these foods, but it's always so much fun watching people eat local foods!!! You to are always so cute together!!! That's awesome you can rinse your own dishes in hot water!! Those bowls look so hot, and cool that it's "Pork Bone Tea"!! That broth looks so rich and flavorful! Love that they refill the broth too!!! The Dry version looked so fascinating too, and love that you enjoyed it!! What is the black sauce?? It looks like Hoisin!! We agree.. a nice hot tea with a meal, is so nice for cutting the richness!!! Fabulous footage on your foods and thanks for taking us with you!! Much love!
Hey there Bears and Butters! Hope you're both doing well! Yea we hope to share local foods around Malaysia, hope it's not too bizarre! Thanks for the lovely comment, you are too kind! The black sauce is also known as dark soy sauce, it's a little different from the hoisin sauce. Thanks for dropping by dears! Take care! 😘♥️
Wow Looks so delicious 🤤🤩🤩🤩 I like your video 😍😘 hi my new friend 🤝🛎👌
Awesome upload, everything looks mouth watery delicious my friends 👍💖💖
Thank you! 😄
Omg never try dry bakuteh before!! Look at the color 🤤🤤
It doesn't have the herbal taste like the soup, almost like a different dish itself!
@@PuriandSue i think i'll like that haha
Omg.. this looks so delicious.. I also love the herbal taste to a broth.
Me too, love the herbal broth! I'm guessing this is Daniel? 😆

I would also love to try the one in Singapore!
Unlimited is great!!! We wanna go there
Unlimited broth is awesome! Especially if you love the dish!
My mom always wash the utensils with hot water too. I usually just use tissue hahaa
Oh haha!! So it's a thing eh! We usually wash it to pass time while waiting for the food 😆
We love to dip in the broth or sauces
It's perfection in the mouth
Yessss!!! Any good food in the mouth is perfect! 😄
@@PuriandSue well..... lol
hello friend great video
Ohhh pork!!!miss it so much 🤤🤤
🐷♥️
We've tried bak kut teh before but the one we had was nowhere near as rich as the one you got. That broth looks absolutely delicious! This would be the perfect comfort food for the cold weather that we are in here in Poland.
Oh perhaps it's a different kind of bak kut teh. I need cold weather to go along with this dish! It's always hot here haha!
hahahha don't worry Puri I love that fatty pork piece too! Dry bak kut teh is one of my favourites, that caramalised sauce. I'm droooooling.
Always love a good fatty piece haha. I'm always up for donations 🤣🤣
We have been to Malaysia before but not in Kuala Lumpur. The Bak Kut Teh looks so delicious😊❤👍
Oh which part of Malaysia did you visit? Hope you'll like it when you try it! 😊
The shot at. 1:21 is DOPE!
Haha thanks!!!
Mmmmmm. Just had dinner but this made me hungry again. Never had to rinse the lot and utensils before. The soup looked so good. Would be so good with some 🍚
Time for supper perhaps? :P Yea funny we have this culture in Chinese restaurants here, the utensils are clean, but just to make sure they're really clean I guess 😅
Puri and Sue really interesting.
Well, from the outside the restaurant doesn't look like much, but we love the presentation in those tiny bowls. It looks fun AND delicious! Thanks for sharing and greetings from Bianca & Thomas :)
Thanks Bianca and Thomas! We have lots of little restaurant like this in Malaysia with awesome food. Thanks for watching and your lovely comment 😍
Nice )) Great video :o)
Thank you 😄♥️
That black sauce looks like kecap manis, especially if it is sweet
I think it's the same thick black sauce used for those dry noodles usually, and some other added ingredients. Yup it's a little sweet!
"all mine" hahaha that's right Sue, don't let the food go!
Hahaha!!! 😆😆😆😝
Puri really selling that pork intestine! Great point about capturing all the broth
Puri loves pork intestine! So this pork intestine stuffed in pork intestine is like a bonus!
Wow nice eating show thanks for sharing new friends bro done I'm support you 👉🔔🔔🔔🔔👈👌😋😋❤️❤️👍
Man I haven't eaten dinner yet... thanks guys lol
Hope you had your dinner already! That's what your video made me feel everytime haha!!

Thanks for the lovely comment!! 😄♥️
Hi friend
Nice video
Joined with you
Crap we missed out Malaysian bak kut teh too during our last KL trip 😱😱😱
Never seen bak kut teh that thick and shiny!! We have a Malaysian restaurant nearby called Klang & Co, I wonder if their bak kut teh is any good. Haha have to try it to know.
Your KL trip was too short haha! But you guys did visit Penang! 😄 Yup thick is good! Shiny might be bad for health haha 🤣 oh cool, probably the owner is from Klang, who knows!
tHanks !! Happy day🙋😜☕
Thanks! Have a great week ahead!
Bak kut teh I assume is a stewed braosed pork feet soup? Very traditional item I bet one locals and the older generation will like this
It could be any part of the pork, stew is not wrong either!
Ok like ye
The yar chay kuey.. is that what people also put in congee??
Yes!! a.k.a. Youtiao!! Yao Char Kuey is in Cantonese, but it's the same thing 😄
oh! was it the bak kut teh week and we didn't know? hahaha
Hahaha!! Maybe this week's feature is bak kut teh!
I like asking y'all technical questions lol, but do you all shoot everything handheld or you use a gymbal at some point?
Sure no worries! This was handheld 😆, we have not get a gimbal for now, we try to be as stable as possible, and then we use warp stabilizer to smoothen that particular footage when we edit.
@@PuriandSue It was pretty smooth. That warp stabilizer works miracles. A gimbal will be great BUT it can become a hassle when youre on the go.
Oh that sauce! Perfectly thick and god\deu
So yummy! 😋
Refill bakuteh omg 🤤 fatty pork, who doesn't love it hahaa
Yes we love the fatty part, just like Puri and I haha!!
KL city centre to Klang in 30 mins? Sorry...not possible even on a Sunday.
Yes I seen this boiling water method cleaning everything most of the time in hongkong..good way to sanitize everything better be safe right
Oh that's good to know we're not the only one doing the hot water cleaning haha! Also something to do while waiting for my order :P
Malaysia bak kut teh, especially the klang one is the best in the world
We love Klang Bak Kut Teh for sure. Probably the best like you said
Ohhh unlimited broth refills?? Whoa
Yup we can refill the soup! So far we've never been chased out before, so it's fine 😆
Will be inviting my friend Hardly Ada Wang the head of a political party to join me for my next meal here as he is getting bored of the fare offered in Terengganu...LOL
Hope you guys have a fantastic experience there! 😄
Why is the restaurant called teluk pulai bkt when it is nowhere near teluk pulai
Intestine stuffed intestine!! Whoaaaaa
Haha Puri loves it!
Klang have best bak kuk teh
We dont really eat organs hahaa😂 stick with meat lol
That's totally fine! Puri's a huge fan, I'm just okay with it 😋
