      Btw, Restoran Seng Huat started from 1979 (by Lee Boon Dee 3rd son) , not the original restaurant founded by Lee Boon Dee (李文地)which is already 80+ years old, openned from 1940's, now still manage by the 3rd generation and follow the original recipe. However, the Restoran Seng Huat owner once indicated in one interview by Axian that he has made some changes from his grandpa recipe, by making the garlic taste slightly stronger and less soya sauce, the rest followed. So, I think shall visit the original restaurant at 德地肉骨茶 and compare, it is located @27, Jalan Stesen 1, Kawasan 1, 41000 Klang, Selangor

    Klang areas famous with Bak Kut Teh. Thick brow soup. This dish started in Klang 1800s. Authentic.

    Local people dont eat seng huat anymore. Is for tourist. Klang people now dun put their best BKT store in FB anymore to protect the qualities.

    Bought the frozen pack recently, they shipped it all the way to Penang but still tasted very good. Definitely satisfied my cravings in this time when can't even travel.

    This restaurant is so-so only. It was way better when the Dad was still operating it those days. Standard dropped a lot. now it tastes just like any normal BKT place in Klang.

    Klang is certainly well known for its BKT but now difficult to travel all the way unless they have a branch nearby

    It so sad even people from Klang do not know what a good bak kut teh is..While Seng Huat and Teck Teh is the original, others have gotten really famous. True old timers will know the best for many years was at the Klang Hokkien Association's Canteen that stopped serving some 15 years ago. Frankly most shops are a very very poor quality compared to that gold standard then.

    Klang and Singapore Bak Kut Teh is different rite? I heard some my collegue most prefer the Klang one (I am Muslim cannot eat one 😂) Whats the different?

      In general, Malaysia = Black (Hokkien style - Chinese Herbal) and Singapore = White (Teochew style - White pepper)

    There were one shop selling bkt in the same style in jalan melayu nearby, which was a much older shop that start business at 5am everyday, which had since close down. Don't know why

      其实 肉骨茶只有在现场煮好现切现吃才是最好吃,一旦拿回家回热后再吃已经失去原来的口感和味道了,味道-20% 而口感最严重-50%

    This nincompoop just like my wife.. re-cooked 5 packets at once in the pot.. Accident do happened..Pot got broken.. And all are lost.. luckily not hurt badly but scalded.. SMH!🔥🔥
