An excellent video, and as others have stated a great refresher course! I've been fooling around with websites for years when everything was hand-coded in HTML, but I stopped several years ago . Now, as I'm learning how to use WordPress and Elementor, I'm relearning some of these basic image rules. Time to jump back into Photoshop, start using WebP, and correctly sizing! Thanks for your time and effort; the video and your voice & delivery style are easy to pleasant to follow.
I somehow thought that Avada chose the best image size (it does save multiple sizes when uploading an image). Is that not the case? Will it still load the 2000 px version even if there is let's say a 300 px version, when the image will not display larger than for example 150 px?

How about the relationship between dpi and pixels and image formats. I researched and learned it but it would be good to mention this point as well because dpi is referred to in many places as 300 dpi being a good image quality. Thanks for your video by the way. It clarified many things for me. ♥
There is no relationship between dpi and pixels, when it comes to online images. DPI is simply a printing instrcution. If you need assistance, please submit a support ticket here my.avada.com/submit-a-ticket/, and a member of our team will gladly assist you.

You're welcome. You should definitely try Avada as well. We think our builder is the equal of Elementor. And we have lots of tutorial videos :)
@AvadaVideos I'll have a look. I volunteer my time for these, so the tools are usually picked by others, thanks I'll go and see.
Thank you so much for this refresher. Well said for pris or those just starting out. I did not know about WebP
You are very welcome.
