Elcho Island Revival Thanksgiving | Homeland Dreaming Ep. 21

It has been such a joy to see our Yolngu family so excited to see the Holy Spirit sweep across Elcho Island and Arnhem Land again. Every year in March, we celebrate what is known as the Revival back in 1979. This year I felt was extra special. Most of March people were meeting every night to praise and worship the Triune God. And guess what? The church is filled each night to this day as people continue to pray and express their faith together.
Here in Elcho, I am reminded that God's timing is the best. I am learning that worship does not have to be constrained by hours. I am seeing that those who hunger for God's righteousness will be filled. The nightly program literally goes on until 2am or 3am. Oh may we have eyes to see what the Lord Almighty is doing!
