That's why he doesn't like the spotlight, because he used to be very self conscious about it. I think nowadays he doesn't let it affect him. At least he said something like that in an interview a week or two ago with ESPN MMA.

Blaydes has a stutter and that makes me feel better about having one. Mine come from being excited to talk and i can't get the words out as fast as I'm thinking them though 😭.

Curtis is very dangerous, I think he's one of the most dangerous fights in the HW division. You gotta respect Tom for taking this cause he could have turned it down.
I think Curtis realises everyone seems friendly because he such a good dude. Like how can you dislike Curtis.
All Curtis' losses have been via KO, and Aspinall has some pretty scary power. I'm not saying Curtis can't win, but he has his back up against it.

Curtis brings up that Lewis is a one dimensional fighter at hw which is true no doubt but he lost to him in which he shouldn't. Blaydes loosing to Lewis was mainly because of lack of focus/sharpness and not because of overall ability.
And it's the same thing for Blaydes loosing to Pavlovich.
It goes to show that you could be great all around fighter but if you lack the focus/sharpness to go with your overall game you could loose to anybody in the division.
I think people want Aspinall to win because he's essentially undefeated and everyone is always fixated on the next big thing. Curtis Blaydes is really good but because he has a couple of losses against the current roster it's just not going to get people engaged the same way.
If jon keeps fighting he should fight the winner of this after. And then alex. Retire from ufc and face Francis then retire for good. That would be amazing but i would probably have alex over jon
