Bullshit. You tend to repeat lines the other channels do that don't really make sense about seat comfort. Which is subjective. YOU DON'T mention the problem that all new VW vehicles of the class have and its wind noise creeping in the cabin. And the infotainment on the golf, is laggy, unresponsive at times and hangs and needs restart. Whereas on the leon is better but worse than many of the competition. If you claim to be indepedent be objective.

Why don’t these reviewers say that this mode is the FR Sport or above? It’s not a standard FR. This car has a number of features that are not on the standard FR, like ACC, ambient lighting, heated steering wheel, heated seats, independent rear suspension (only available on higher bhp model), blind spot monitoring, DCC, keyless entry........
I have a 2018 model and I am happy that this review doesn't give me an urge to go out and spend money on an upgrade. I don't think the new look is an improvement over the old model. Neither on the exterior nor on the interior. Of course there are some developments in the technology, but nothing I can't live without. My only gripe with my current car is that the vents from the A/C are blowing cold air directly on my hands while I'm driving, but that is a rather minor inconvenience.
@@autogefuel I do. On occasion when it is very warm I open all the vents when I start driving, but as soon as the temperature is tolerable I turn off the middle vents.
Thanks for high quality reviews Thomas. Although it is a short review, Could you please tell more about the comfort level (at front and at rear seat) ? Especially at the beginning it was looking like a shaky ride. What about the noise insulation at high and low speed?
Actually I have to say: "wow!". I would definitely convince my company to use it as a company car. However I would even consider this leon in FR performance as a private vehicle. Good job Seat good job Thomas!
I'm not too keen on this Leon, yes I prefer it to the golf but I'm going to stick with the mk3.5 fr. I couldn't deal with having no buttons for the heating, to me that's a step too far.
Most other reviews of the 150pk mild Hybrid notice a not-so-good brake pedal feel. Kind of on-off character. In your review you do not seem to notice it. Could you please comment on this with the upcoming ST review?
@@autogefuel based on this catalog web1.seat.co.uk/sites/default/files/seat_ra_file/new-leon-pricelist-may-2020.pdf is it 'Semi-rigid axle' even for the 150 hp
I don't like this move to buttonless interiors. My DS3 Crossback has nearly all of the controls for the HVAC on the touchscreen. It's infuriating to use on a day to day basis. This is such a backwards step; cars need physical climate controls for safety reasons.
I enjoy your vids, however you should do a German version also, because you are already speaking "german-english" so the placement of words are not correct. I don't like that, I'd rather have a full-on german version.
Sorry seat but you lost the look back Feature we all loved about owning a seat leon. I’ve owned them all. Might as well go n buy a boring Astra. Aggggghhhhh
It’s horrible it r takes the last existing thing about seats being different from the rest from the spotty mk 1 to the unusual mk 2! With the sweeping lines to the only just got away with it pointed sharp looks of the mk 3 and 4 to this it’s massive. And ugly. No more seats for me. And I’ve had them for last 8 years cos they were different from the rest of the boring strict guidelines of design. It’s ugly and the same looking as any other modern clone motor car.

In my opinion this new Leon is more interesting than Golf and Focus.

Ah, early in the morning, hot coffee and new autogefuehl review with Thomas. What more can you ask?
Enjoy!
Great review, I'm waiting for Phev. 👍🏻
Škoda with the Seat badge 😎
It’s always nice to see Thomas’s review 😀
Awesome review! Keep it up! Love your unbiased view. Very professional.
I just hope it sells well, Seat and Spain need it badly. Good review, buen trabajo.
muchas gracias!
For me:
1...MERCEDES A CLASS
2...MAZDA 3
3...SEAT LEON
4...AUDI A3
This was very interesting! Looking forward to the estate and/or the PHEV review.

Please make a review of Leon ST eHybrid (204hp). Thank you @Autogefuehl

I hate that too and so I always deactivate the middle air vents, just blowing on top and feet. Try it out!
@@autogefuel I do. On occasion when it is very warm I open all the vents when I start driving, but as soon as the temperature is tolerable I turn off the middle vents.
What about the hybrid operation? Does it yield better mpg, how long can it help on the highway?
Dislike the connecting rear lights, and rear quarter panel design. Interior feels bit to much plastic. But I like the front end design.

Very nice looking better than the Golf look.
i will like to see some top 10 sound quality cars in mid budjet cars :D
Great Video Review. The Interior Is much nicer than the current Model. I also like the New Cupra Leon
thanks!!
I think looks little like a Opel/Vauxhall Astra from outside
Nice short review :-)
Great Video Review
Thomas, it is time to say the truth!
How tall are you??
a) 6 feet 1 inch
b) 186 cm
c) maybe take a recent measurement...
Maybe even taller 😂
Looks quite shaky in town ...
I want to know the new seat leon fr dont have sunroof??
Option afaik
Thomas, are you sure that it´s got Matrix-LED? I hope hope hope so, but I can´t find any information on the Seat-Website.
Not sure sorry. I have to draw back on that for the moment :)
I re-checked, not at the moment. Probably later with a facelift
@@autogefuel Okay, Dankeschön :-)
Why you didnt review @renault Clio 5
Because Renault is not very interested in working with digital media

Ok I will take special attention to that and comment
What sort of a driver turns the steering wheel before the car is rolling ?
Looks cool, show effect
what is your height??
In this video was the first time hearing about the matrix headlamps option. Is it somewhere stated on Seat website?
Maybe I am mistaken, need to re-check
Not at the moment indeed. Maybe later with a facelift
Love the Leon hopefully buying a mk3 sc
there wont be a SC this time
U r gentlemen, I respect u. I think a new leon very beautiful than golf 8, good look, I like it.
thanks =)
The Seat Leon For Real...
Are the rear suspension independent ?
Just re-checked: Golf and A3: 150 INCLUDING and more hp: Multilink. Leon: 150 still torsion, only MORE than 150 = Multilink. Weird.

From the outside sounds like a diesel, and the noise inside the car is too loud
Try it at night and see if you find the heating and volume controls...😂😂
