Sunday 4/25 WGI Thunder Race part 2

GTS 2 Thunder race. Car #305 in P1 to start behind GTS 3 and 4 cars. The sudden rain made for an unforgettable race. Any class that had dry tires had the dry rubber on including myself (Hoosier R7). Track was extremely wet to start and variable. Dried as race went on. P2 overtakes me at bottom of esses due to a tank slapper save by White Gts3 car slowing me down. I eventually go side by side with P1 into the toe and overtake on outside but slipper conditions caused the contact to be made and send me flying off track. I was stuck in the grass for a good 30 seconds or so and was luckily able to free myself to battle pack to one of the most exciting races of my life. I'll happily take a nose to tail P2 finish and fastest overall lap of the race.
