toch leuk als je mallen hebt, als je er dan eentje stuk doet, begin je gewoon opnieuw en 24u later heb je weer een nieuw deel. lijkt simpel, maar dat is het niet denk ik.
Hi, I am a newbie in composites. Just have few questions. Sorry if I sound stupid. I can see a channel at the trailing edge. What is it for ? & What is the size of the foam core. Is it the same size of the mould or made thinner to account for fibreglass thickness ?
Ik ben die vriend die ze gefreesd heeft en dat doet ik met een freesmachine :-) Eigenlijk niets anders dan je idee in 3D uittekenen en dan de freesbanen laten berekenen. Misschien iets te simpel voorgesteld maar zo ongeveer gaat het wel.

The moulds and cores are cnc milled by a friend.

Have you ever tryed to close the mold a vacuum bag? I have on a Q/500 and it was great.Run the vacuum for 4hr ,then let it cure for 24hr
How do you prepar the core?
Is it cnc cut? (Router)

I think the ud is 39g. Kevlar and Aramide are the same material from different manufacturers.
Does ud stand for uni directional carbon fibre

I must have missed something, haha. What happened to the 3M double sided tape?
It stays in the assembly. For example on the leading edge, the first side of the tape is on the glass, and the second side sticks to the foam core.
