Absolutely amazing video, the quality of work, finesse and attention to detail is outstanding. This is the second of your videos I've watched and it's inspired me to attempt to build a DLG. It would be great if you could make a video showing how you design and produce the plug and mold for the fuselage.
    Many thanks

Congrats, very nice video to learn and very pleasant to watch. One question: what's that glue that you used to close the vacuum bag? tks.

The paper used for this trick was indeed silk paper , as provided with some of the free flight kits available . reason for using this kind of paper is that the epoxy will drain much better into and through the paper, which we want for a stiff and strong wing. any paper will do, but the lighter and thinner it is, the better. as long as the paint sticks on it it will work;)

Quick question. What king of Mylar and bagging material do you use? Specifically what is the thickness and brand? Also what unit of measure did you use for the glass and carbon weights? Example, "25gr fiberglass". Is this 25 grams per square meter?
Thanks for the video and great job! :)

First video that's explaining this technique clearly ! What kind (brand) of epoxy are you using ? ...and what kit are you using to seal the vacuum bag.
I'm also starting with vacuum bagging and want to follow the instructions in your video.

    Thank you

0.35mm mylar from r-g. the unit is m2.

Use laminating epoxy with a long processing time. I use resin L385 with hardener 386 from R&G. This has a 2 hour prcoessing time and takes 24h to cure.

Nice process. Does the double sided tape remain in the laminate?

Since already congratulated for their videos.
After watching your video decided to try to make a wing.
Cut the polystyrene core, and I did everything as it should be, in the end put the wing in a vaccum bag, pulled out after 24 hours the wing and the work was almost perfect, but I had a problem the Styrofoam core seems that collapsed in some places.
What would be the problem, it will be better to use foam rather than polystyrene?
    thanks

jaap what is the type of sealant used for the bag? Do you reuse the bag for another wing later.
