I lost my father a few years ago - he was 88. As a teenager he taught himself to play the piano. As a child growing up, I got to hear my father play almost every day. He loved his piano. His playing style was so similar to Floyd Cramer's. Now, when I hear Floyd Cramer tunes, it's as if my father is here. I miss him so much. I travel on business and stay in hotels. I put Floyd Cramer tunes in my iPhone to fall asleep by. Very soothing.

It’s a shame we don’t have music and lyrics written like this today. ❤❤❤🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵🎶🎵🎵 Jason, thank you so much for sharing this video with the world. Your grandfather was an amazing man. Linda

He made it look so easy!!! I took piano lessons for 18 years - John Thompson - John Schaum - learned grace notes but I never could play like Floyd Cramer. I had the music books but wow - it's just not easy. Love this style for sure.

Thanks Jason, for Sharing Your GrandDaddy's Concert. I grew up listening to Him. I am 64 yrs now. When I was in College in Central Florida in the late 70's. I use to slow dance with my life size Winnie the Pooh Bear to the 78 LP ALBUM. I HAD of "LAST DATE"... THEN I Got it on an
8 Track Tape, then on a Cassette. Don't think I have it on a CD. But I listen to Your Sunday Concerts. I grew up learning to play piano. I am, was like Avery, I play by Ear, more than anything. I can read music. I also play Accordion... and have several different Keyboards. My KIWAUEE, if I spelled that right, the best, even better than Yamaha, Growing up , was bout Avery's age, maybe a year or two older. Had an ol' Hammond Organ. Had regular keys on the right sd, but had buttons you pressed on the left for the chords. Don't know what ever happened to it. Your Granddaddy Floyd was Certainly An Outstanding Blessed Talented Man of the Keyboards. He was Awesome. Which I saw the Video when You were 9yrs. Way to go Jason. Avery's not far behind. God Bless You and Natalie, Avery, and All of Your Family, Your Grandma Cramer. She is a Blessing I know. Ya'll Treasure her for Sure...I was only 16 when she passed. She played in the Silent Movies. Passed at the age of 74...lost her sight at 52 yrs due to a bad Cateract Surgery...Could play anything from Boogie Woogie to Classical, even after loosing her sight. Better go...Take Care and You , Natalie, Avery have a Blessed Sunday and Week as Well...Again Thanks for Sharing Ya'll's Talents and Music...AMEN

Yesterday my sister was so excited about a song she heard on her phone-Facebook. Jason Coleman was playing The End of the World by Skeeter Davis. After three notes, I remembered the music, but I didn't know who Jason Coleman was playing this song. I have taken piano lessons and consider myself average at best. In fact, I'm still taking lessons, and I'm 78 years old. I only wish I could play like the Grandfather of Jason. Yes, Jason, as a member of American Forces Radio and Television Services, not only did I listen to many of your Grandfather's songs while in Crete, Greece, and doing the all-night show, I would play his music. Floyd Cramer died way too young. He was only 64 years old. May he R.I.P. I'm glad my sister was so excited listening to Jason play The End of the World by Skeeter Davis. Moral of the story? Always listen to your sister!

Happy the way your grooming thd children up to play. Magie is doing a great job and s good influence to the kids. Keep it up Magie.
